Eats inedible things to piss off kunikida he has eaten pencil lead, papers, erasers, ecta

Bought chuuya a bright ass pink collar to piss him off. [GAY] [He also bought chuuya a dog plushie but gave it to him after the collar. The collar came with the plush dog]

Listens to the most girlie pop music. Like chappel roan and stuff. And bohemian rhapsody.

Likes scaring atsushi for no reason.

Buys a cupcake when it's oda's birthday, does nothing for his own birthday.

Chuuya bought him a stuffed animal of a cat. Dazai laughed at him for giving him such a caring gift. He still has it. He can't sleep if he dosent have hit. Bro could not sleep when he was in bubble prison.

Chuuya dyed some of his bandages bright pink as a joke. Dazai actually wore them and when people asked he just said "Chuuya"

Matching bolo ties with Dazai!! Other couples have matching bracelets or keychains but why not matching mental illnesses 😎

even though it would destroy him, every time he sees you with it on he tells you that you don’t have to and probably teases you for being so whipped for him (even though it’s 100% the other way around)

he takes total pride in matching with you!!!! when kunikida points it out he’s all “oh so you’re jealous? sorry you don’t have a lovely partner to match with!”

atsushi compliments the matching set and he BEAMS!!!! smiles so brightly for the rest of the day and even into the next!

he uses it to tug you closer to him to kiss you!! he knows it gets your heart racing both from the fear and suddenness of it but also bc awww his lips on yours n he smells like comfort and— oh now he’s gone. hm

he’s so commitment issues to me so it’s kinda his way of staking claim over you :)) his hand brushes over it when you talk with someone else he doesn’t trust or he’ll reach over and “polish” it with his bandages or sleeves or his SPIT if that person Will Not Back Off.

i can imagine him starting to keep those soft glasses cleaning fabric squares in his pockets just for the above scenario 😭

he just loves that you match him! starts pointing out matching things other couples have - not to try and drop hints like last time but to mutter that ours is better while all pouty :( now he thinks he Owns “matching accessories w your s/o” someone come get this man shaking my head….

all in all i think he’d be very cute about it! it’s not something he explicitly states or asks for but it makes him very happy :)

imagine one day his breaks on a mission and he’s so distraught and uncomfortable and anxious all day :( he comes home to you after by breaking into your apartment almost holding back tears as he explains what happens :(

you have to hold him close and say it’s okay, you aren’t mad, he’ll be fine…

try offering yours for him to wear while it gets fixed! (he’s a little suspicious… why are you so eager to not wear yours?……) but dazai says you can wrap your wrist in his bandages like a makeshift bracelet just for the time being!! so he still has that claim on you while his gets fixed

OMG but like imagine Chuuya after eventually getting over his initial shock over the entire ada in his house(not including Fukuzawa and Dazai) in his house and saying yes, as he then PROCEEDS TO SHOW THEM SO MANY RANDOM AND UNFLATTERING PICTURES OF DAZAI DURING THE DARK AGE‼️‼️

(I headcanon that Dazai had braces during the dark arc along with Chuuya having freckles!<33)

one day chuuya wakes up and goes to his room only to see the ada (minus like fukuzawa and dazai) standing there like "chuuya nakahara you knew dazai when he was going through his emo phase right ? you have pics RIGHT?"

Okay so I saw a post that spoke about how Dazai didn't show any emotions when Mori killed the former boss right in front of him. Dazai was a child. Seeing a murder for the first time and… Nothing. No expression. Just acceptance. As if his body is here but not his mind. He's dissociating.

Look at that look. He's not focused. He's just looking at whatever is happening.

So what if it happens each time he commits a crime? What if each time he kills someone, he's not fully realising his actions and only realizes it later, but it doesn't hit him so hard because it happened slowly.

Well, I headcanon that one time, Dazai killed a bunch of innocent civilians for X or Y reasons. Mori told him to. So he did it. But he usually didn't kill innocent people. Usually it's the mafia's ennemis. So the realisation hit him right as everyone's already dead. He's there, surrounded by corpses. He's the reason they're dead. His hands is covered in blood. The realisation hit him so hard he thought he was gonna vomit (he didn't).

I have headcanons abt Dazai's grandpa and it's time to confess:

╰┈➤ He's a veteran. He served in the army for 30 years, being a colonel for 20 years. Before that, he was a florist (those two jobs had nothing to do with each other ik).

╰┈➤ His first love, and his true love, was a woman who served as a nurse. They promised to marry each other once they're out of this shit. Though, she's not Dazai's grandma? Why? Well, the enemy bombed their base, and she sadly passed away. He never truly recovered, and his screams were so loud that the other soldiers thought his voice was going to break.

Dazai's whole family is traumatised idc <3

Small headcanon that one day, Dazai got in a big depressed episode, He started screaming, throwing glasses, cups, plates and furniture on the floor. He then had a mental breakdown

Bonus : He went to Kunikida's house and they had a sleepover and they made cookies <3

I headcanon that Dazai is born in 4:44 AM.

Because “4” is a cursed number. I think it's because it's said the same as the word “death” in Japanese.

I headcanon that Dazai's grandmother was very superstitious. She forbade him from going under a ladder or from petting a black cat, etc. And one day, Dazai wanted to pet a black cat, and she said "Don't pet that cat, or I'll curse you"

And Dazai did it because he didn't give a damn fuck

Please this came to me so randomly but I now have the headcanon that Dazai likes to draw. Not like full on pieces or artworks but he likes to doodle randomly. In the margins of his paperwork you'll see small sketches or doodles of things like the sign for bar lupin, the pen on his desk, just small little things he remembers or is looking at. Also he has a small sketchbook that is really just a re-purposed notebook (Kunikida probably gave the notebook to him to solve his 'fish like memory issues'(he was just ignoring heads up for meetings, deadlines, etc.)) where Dazai will just sketch things that look more similar to full on pieces that he uses as a way to vent cause God is he emotionally constipated.

Edit: I just realized Chuuya would DEFINITELY tease dazai about his doodles. If he found of Dazai has a secret portrait drawing of him... well, Dazai is never gonna hear the end of it
