I have a silly little headcanon that if Chuuya was a part of the ADA, him Yosano Dazai and Ranpo would be the ultimate gossip girls of the agency. They would round up on the break room tabel spilling the hottest tea of the day.

+ Yosano and Chuuya feed off of each others moods so when Chuuya shows up to work pissed Yosano picks up on his behavior quickly. They end up roasting the living shit out of everyone and Ranpo simply sits back and enjoys the show with a pack of potato chips. Dazai is the biggest victim of it all because Chuuya.

+ Yosano having a secret wine stash at the infirmary. On some fridays they stick around after work, Yosano and Chuuya share a bottle of wine while Ranpo enjoys his hot chocolate because wine tastes like vinegar. Dazai is long gone wandering around a rooftop or a bridge. They are pretty much already drunk when Kunikida arrives at the agency to pick up a document he needs because he works even outside of working hours. His priceless reaction and the scolding that falls onto Chuuya and Yosano's drunk - deaf ears, gets dutifully recorded by Ranpo every time for them to laugh their asses off on monday alongside Dazai.

Thinking about Asagiri's end note in Beast. Specifically of that one part that suggests, in an alternate universe Chuuya might have run away with Dazai. Thinking about Dazai showing up on Chuuya's doorstep at 3am, in the form of a wet cat becase it's been raining all day but he didn't leave Oda's grave for a second. About Dazai just out of the blue telling Chuuya that he's leaving. He expects an explosion, expects Chuuya to shout at him, punch him, tell him to fuck off and to never show his ugly face ever again. Instead what Chuuya says is - "Okay, where do you wanna go? Russia? France? Singapore? I know a good friend of Albatross's that makes super realistic fake ID's." Bewilderment is not something he experiences a lot, not even a little. But his pertner, that he's supposed to know in and out, has managed to put him through it once again.

They end up illegally traveling around the world just because they can. When they finally make it back to their hometown, they have missed Yokohame dearly, it's  time to settle down. Of course settleing down somewhere requires a stable job. A rumor about a newly formeing detective agency that's looking for gifted people to hire, reaches their ear rather quickly.

ADA Chuuya but it happens in the dumbest way possible

Ok so for some reason everybody in the SKK Tag seems to be losing their minds over the fact that Chuuya would have left the PM with Dazai if asked recently(like come on guys,they’re both obsessed with one another,I thought we knew this)

So naturally as someone who checks that tag like every couple hours it’s been on my mind too

But what if Dazai didn’t ask and Chuuya still ended up in the ADA somehow?Like something finally pushed him over the edge and he decided to leave,taking Akutagawa(cause I will not shut up about how much that’s his boy,bite me) and Gin(cause there’s no way Akutagawa’s leaving his baby sister behind).

They destroy their paper trail best they can and wait the situation out in England with Shirase and Adam,using those two years to come up with convincing fake backstories and get some sort of employment backlog(cause unlike some people they can’t just have their government buddy erase the evidence using a delusional twink).

Fast forward a bit and Gin suggests the ADA as an option.They’re small,independent and have field work so they’d basically be set.The guys agree and arrive there,waiting for Fukuzawa to receive them when out that office walks Dazai.

And all four of them are like

And the two parties awkwardly kinda walk past one another and for the next several weeks Chuuya and Dazai are just pretending they don’t know one another.Nobody’s buying it cause their ex energy just reeks,not to mention that Chuuya trips Dazai every time the guys so much as seems to be passing him and Dazai “accidentally “ doesn’t hear Chuuya on a daily basis.

So everyone decides to ask Gin cause Akutagawa gives off a kinda murder-y vibe.

Gin tells them that the two were friends in high school and had a big falling out.Everyone takes that as “homoerotic situationship” and moves on.

Chuuya and Dazai are none the wiser to this,until Ranpo feels bored one day and decides to ask Chuuya how dating Dazai was.Chuuya puts the story together and lies,quickly dragging Dazai aside and explaining it to him as well so they can keep their story straight.

And until Atsushi shows up they have to keep going along with it,lest they be thrown into the slammer.

I'll be honest, I'm not happy with the way the first two turned out. I've actually had them done for a few days and wasn't going to post them because I wasn't happy with them.

But I realized that would go against my own personal beliefs, which is that sharing even the art we're not proud of is important. Not everything we create will be or has to be perfect.

Sure, I kind of hate the way Chuuya's face looks, (also I think I got his hat wrong) Dazai's hair and both their feet. All I can really see are what I call "the screw ups". Fortunately, that's not all there is. For example, I'm very proud of how Atsushi turned out despite the fact that he kind of resembles Beast!Atsushi... I'm also not fussy on the shots without his jacket...

This turned into a long ramble, sorry, I just wanted to show off some A Graveyard For Angels designs. I gave Chuuya a brown jacket after a lot of back and forth with the colours and Dazai's bolo tie is more blue.

The line was supposed to go to Kunikida but Chuuya just said like, no??? Either way I'm having fun and I think I'll keep it, especially because I wrote that scene 1000 words ago.
