A/N: Hello! Since Im far ahead of my school work I can officially balance my writing and private life! Thank you for requesting! I hope it is to your liking! I love writing about Chuuya, especially when it comes to his ability, its one of my favourites.
I warn ahead that there might be spoilers from Stormbringer! If you haven't read it (or honestly doesn't care about getting spoiled) then be aware of it!
Chuuya Nakahara:
His first thoughts will be fear, not the fear that you would outdid him when it comes to his ability, no not that at all
He's scared you went through the exact same progress he did when he got his.
Let's face two scenarios here, when he finds out you just have gravity controlling ability, exactly like him but without the corruption, I think he would let out a breath he didn't knew he was holding.
However if he does find out you went through everything exactly like him? He would hug you close, kiss a few times onto of your head If he can reach it- and would help you get through the healing progress with him, feeling sad you went through it, but also somewhere back into his mind a little relieved that someone could relate to him with this somehow, how sick and twisted that may sound.
He would train you too if you asked him too! He wants to help his love out whenever he can, so he would gladly take you under his wing when it comes to training! (Maybe every now and then some praise and a rewarding kiss ☺️)

He will always be worried about you getting hurt, but very less since he knows how capable you are.
You guys once land onto of the port mafia building, hold a little picnic there, and watching the sunset while he offers you his coat, since it was beginning to get a bit colder
He would absolute not let you meet Dazai, under any circumstances, he wants to keep his clean record of not killing someone in front of you but Dazai will make that record a bloody one-
If you are how ever, somehow friends with Dazai, he will protest with a few pouts and scoldings here and there, but he wouldn't want to control your actions, so as long as you promise not to leave him, He could Try to live with it
Who knows maybe you'll be the reason they'll interact a little bit more with each other
Chuuya is still cautious though, but seeing you smile will make it worth it
The moment you get hurt by someone's else's hands

He won't be reckless reckless, but he will be breaking the arm of the person who did it-
then, its like a switch got pulled, he immediately puts all his attention to you, his hands on your cheeks, cupping your face

Asagiri. Asagiri come sit with me. Asagiri do you realize how much this statement makes Dazai's internal monologue about Chuuya much more intriguing? He doesn't like Chuuya.
In Fifteen, his irritation comes from his perception of Chuuya as a shallow violent guy who's just looking for the biggest enemy (Arahabaki) to beat up. He doesn't like him. Turns out this perception was wrong. He still doesn't like him. Chuuya turns out to be someone who struggles with his humanity in perhaps a more relatable way than Dazai ever expected. And he doesn't like him. Seeing Chuuya and Rimbaud fight inspires Dazai to give a new go at life, and he conspires with everything he has to make Chuuya join the Port Mafia to be his underling. But he doesn't like him.
Then comes Storm Bringer, during which a guy comes along and wants to kill Dazai and take Chuuya away, and Dazai fights tooth and nail to prevent both from happening. He doesn't like him. Dazai vehemently denies the possibility of Chuuya being an artificial human. He doesn't like him. Dazai is uncomfortable for having to tell Chuuya their best course of action would get rid of the last remaining lead they have over his origins, to the point he starts planning for not doing it. And he doesn't like him.
Dazai has contributed to building up years of mutual trust between him and Chuuya. He doesn't like him. Chuuya is always executing Dazai's plans nearly perfectly. He doesn't like him. For a few minutes Dazai considered the possibility he would be drowning Chuuya for real and took the time to reminisce about their good times together. He doesn't like him. He was partnered with Chuuya for a maximum of 3 years, statistically probably a lot less, yet he insists on saying they've known each other for 7 years and still calls Chuuya partner once in a while. But he doesn't like him.
What could possibly be going on inside his head for all of the above to be true at the same time? He's admitted more than once to thinking about Chuuya night and day... but it was of ways to kill Chuuya, so it's fine, obviously, because it means he doesn't like him!!!
Asagiri. I understand your simple words of dismissal as a way to warn your readers you have no intention of pushing that particular thread further in your writing. But Asagiri. Do you not see the monster, this walking mass of contradictions, that you've created? What do you mean he "just doesn't like Chuuya"? Not Chuuya angst this ain't about him I'm holding Dazai up by the scruff and waving him around like a prop. What were his motivations then? Why does he do any of this? What unknown depth of character hides in those cracks, Asagiri?

“I hope you know,” Chuuya grunted as he staggered to his feet, “that as soon as this is over, I’m going to murder you.”
Dazai made a show of fanning himself. “Ooh, don’t threaten me with a good time, chibi~”
To be fair, he hadn’t meant for the water balloon to hit the side of his boyfriend’s face and send him sprawling to the ground, but it certainly did the trick lighting the competitive fire in the redhead’s eyes, so…worth it?
Chuuya tossed one of his own balloons at Dazai, annoyed when it only grazed his overcoat as he dodged out of the way. He prided himself in being athletically skilled up close, but with this much distance between them? That was more of Akutagawa’s thing than his.
It had been Dazai’s idea to do this, of course. The brunette insisted they go on a ‘proper, fun date’ now that the weather was getting nicer, and while they were strolling through the park they saw some kids having a water balloon fight, and the detective was inspired. The rest was history.
“Fuck me,” Chuuya grumbled, having tossed his last weapon and missing again. Dazai still had one left. Even if he missed, he’d already won by having hit the redhead more often.
Dazai’s brows rose. “Oh, my. Maybe later, Chuuya dearest~”
That did it.
He was much better at up close fighting; why not take advantage of it?
Dazai tossed his final balloon to the side, anticipating Chuuya barreling toward him and crouching down to meet him. They tussled for a few moments before the detective successfully got his boyfriend on the ground, hands finding his ribs and tickling wildly.
“NAHAHAHAHAHA DAZAHAHAHAHAHAI!!” Chuuya laughed, unable to keep his reactions at bay. Curse his extreme ticklishness! He squirmed and kicked. “LEHEHEHEHEHEMME GOHOHOHOHO!!”
“Now why would I do that, when you look so cute like this? Hey!” Dazai suddenly shot his arms to his sides protectively, Chuuya having found a split second to shoot a hand into his armpit. “Fiehehehehehehesty, are we, chihihihihihibi?”
Chuuya hooked a leg around his waist and twisted so that he was the one on top, going for broke and tickling his annoying boyfriend relentlessly. “Go ahead and give up, Dazai. We both know you’ll just roll over and let me win any-WAHAHAHAHAHAY!! AHAHAHAHAHASSHOLE!!” He kept one hand in Dazai’s armpit while frantically trying to dislodge the brunette’s fingers from his thigh. “Juhuhuhuhuhust give uhuhuhuhuhup already!”
Dazai was squealing with his own giddy giggles, but he still managed a defiant flash in his eyes as he shot back, “You fihihihihihihirst!”
It was unclear who won the second part of their battle that afternoon, but either way, they both had to agree it had been the best date in a while.

i got a few details wrong in the post above, the sheep only ever viewed chuuya as a weapon and it took shirase seeing chuuya getting beaten up in stormbringer to truly see him as a human being. the scene with yuan in fifteen was more of a ‘hey, we like being able to use this person as a weapon’. yuan isn’t an important character and doesn’t do much for the plot, i don’t understand the hate towards her because she’s irrelevant. i also got a bit wrong about dazai in that scene, he finds it stupid that chuuya doesn’t notice that the sheep are manipulating him. he’s not jEaLoUs. the general sentiment still stands though. i will edit this later. oh, i also added tags so people will see this follow-up because past lou is fucking stupid.

can some (not all) bsd fans stop hating on yuan for just FUCKING TOUCHING CHUUYA’S ARM??? especially since she walked in hugging onto shirase’s arm as well. it doesn’t have to be taken as romantic, i personally see the sheep as chuuya’s found family. that touch was literally just a ‘hey, can you not force my best friend into joining your organization?’ (also dazai wasn’t ‘jealous’ in that scene. it was ‘oh shit. this girl’s getting in the way of my plan’.) it’s SO fucking stupid that if a female character (it’s always a female character) is even remotely close to dazai, akutagawa, chuuya, or atsushi people hate her because she’s ‘gEtTiNg In ThE wAy Of SsKk/SkK’. there could be a scene where a female character is like ‘hey, i’m really close friends with dazai but we have no romantic interest in each other’ and the fandom would still hate her. with all the disrespect i can manage, eat dirt if that’s the only reason you hate yuan/higuchi/lucy. if you have a reason you’re willing to explain for hating them, please send it to me. this has been lou, your very pissed genderfluid lesbian host. thank you for reading this. i know it’s a spinoff of my last rant but i feel like it needed to be said. thank you for reading if you did.
