Don’t Lose Yourself Like Me

I look at a photo And a million words and memory's fly through my head.

They also bring tears to my eyes Why?

I want to smile and I want scream But that's good Means I'm still alive.

Means I know how to associate pain with happiness But Also means I'm strong enough to over come that pain By smiling By knowing one day all will come into place.

The puzzle may be missing pieces and some have been lost through out my life.

But they are there and they will one day be complete .

And when that day comes My heart and mind will in twine and awaken a deepen sense thats along been waiting .

A sense of fulfilment of love and happiness and my tears will still run through pain but it won't be in my eyes no more forever hid away

The power a child can bring to a man ?

I will admit

It’s about the sex .

But maybe we look past

How a man is made ,

His primarl instinct

To make love to woman

And watch his seed grow

Into something remarkable .

Into a soul

He connected to on a another level

Maybe it’s empowering for him

to watch

Her belly grow

Knowing it’s his well being

Made by his flow.

14 months & counting ,

Crammed into 4 tiny walls,

No fresh air ,

For me to breathe ,

No one else to reach,

Covid they said,

Don’t catch a cold,

Keep your self to your self ,

14 months you know ,

Not even a glimpse of sun,

Or 2 minutes of fun,

My brains starting to go into over drive ,

With no end to the wave,

I’m losing my sanity & all hope,

That my soul will ever feel the same .

Always told

I won’t make any gold

With my long life goals,

But they underestimated me

As my goals only consist

If my eyes are cold

Blinded by the pound sign

can’t see my path is clearly written for me ,

I don’t need brands attached to me

I’m a brand of my own

no one can copy track me

Even when I’m buried in the ground

You still couldn’t even come close

To the place I call home
