Dc x Dp Promt:

Danny and Damian are siblings (twins or no twins) however Danny is now immortal after the accident. He is forever 14 in both forms. Damian has aged physically, so imagine his shock when Danny and him reunite only to still see the kid of a brother still in his baby face.

This could be angst/Fluff/comedy. In a few ways.

- Damian depressed his brother can't physically grow up. Danny getting sick of pity eyes from not just Damian but the entire bat fam. Tucker and Sam don't give him pity eyes anymore, too used to ghost shit but they are still kinda sad on the inside.

-Danny, cause he's a little sh't some times, will occasionally abuse his puppy eyes to get what he wants. This trick surprisingly works more than it should cause he's adorable and kinda ethereal.

- Danny also getting mad when he's treated like a kid over serious topics (protection obsession and he's op af ghost king).

-Brucie subconsciously taking it as a chance to try and raise Danny a little while trying to remember he's older than her looks.

-Danny still acting like a child when he feels safe and comfortable and finally gets a break from Kingly duties. Cause he can.

It would also be funny is Constantine was terrified of Danny when ever he's with the JL while other hero's forget he's not a sidekick but a lone hero.

So this may identify what Fandom i was in a few years back if you know you know and all I'm going to state is that in this Fandom I mainly read fics and looked at art non of that toxic as hell stuff.

This is kind of like the one i posted before but a little different and that that book appears at a jl meeting and other heroes just appear. They have to read to the book that has a little bit of everyone's secrets and things that happen in the past. They can't leave till they read the whole book.

They find out a lot about everyone and realize that they don't really know any of them some more than others. They find all the masks, the mental health issues, and why they do thing they do

I'm just going to leave this here i just remembered what kind of fics I used to read and thought this type of fic would work well in dc

Okay so I want to get off my chest first of all I've always liked reaction fix where they like react to watching the past the characters life or just really watching like the show or movie so this is kind of in that sort of territory

I'm looking for a fic where the Justice League and their families the ones that are heroes are know that their Heroes type deal you know have to react to everyone's individual life seeing what made them them and all their struggles and tribulations. Like they have to see how Superman always had a hide how strong he was when growing up and all that how Batman how he became the way he is same with Green Arrow Green Lantern Wonder Woman all them including like maybe their families that have been in there for a while like maybe like Jason and dick from the bat family are in there as well cuz they just been on the game for so long just finding out like the not well known stuff about each other

Is everyone who has ever taken a look at my page as of recently I've been kind of obsessed with the bat family that is a hyper fixation for me at the moment so like the bat family finding out all the stuff about Bruce and I'm not talking about like a lot of the well no one stuff like how he essentially dad lore like the craziest dad lore ever that they have to find out about him like how he was tortured by his principle that is boarding school how he was addicted to Venom and how he would go straight fighting for practice and how he was a cat burglar for a bit how he paralyzed the grown man I can't remember the age but he was a kid and all that kind of stuff the stuff that's not really well known too much in the fandom or at least talked about and I know some of my information is a little off I'm still learning this stuff so about this fandom but everyone not just a bad kids have to come to terms they know nothing about that man truly because what he wants them to know and that he had a crazy life before meeting them and I kind of want Alfred to just look at the kids and go you know he calm down once you guys came into his life everyone is just shocked Pikachu face

I know there's probably not something like this out there and I suck at writing but if anyone has something similar please let me know so not only myself but others who have an itch can read it

Quick bat family it is 1:00 a.m. once again I want to know if anyone has read a story like this it is an itch that needs to be scratched but I can't find one

Okay so let's say identities are known and all that the Justice League know that the other Gotham vigilantes the bats and the birds or Batman's kids and they see the kids just kind of like bullying him and he just Sighs and does tired dad look and just kind of let them do that to him he doesn't care. I say one of the other members of the Justice League I'm kind of seeing like hal or Plastic Man( I read a recent story where Plastic Man was kind of an a****** so that's why I chose him) start making fun and bullying Bruce the Bat kids just whip around and start laying into them because they can see that stuff because that's their dad at the end of the day he loves them unconditionally and they love him but if anyone else disrespects him and talks to him like that they get pissed and they just start tearing down whoever dared try to bully Batman in front of them and let's say maybe like cyborg or Wally are there and they're just like oh you should not have done that you just opened a can of worms or a war on yourself. Just like they can bully each other like siblings do but if anyone else does it's on site and Bruce has to calm down his kids before they send whoever bullied him to Med Bay

So if anyone has something similar or anything like that let me know I can't find anything like this and it's an itch that is for scratched it's actually keeping me awake

So like usual Tim is Odysseus Danny is Penelope The Reincarnation and everything they kind of pick up where they left off all those years ago the bat family is concerned cuz it's out of character for Tim but are happy to see that he's happy and support him Denny's friends and family no of reincarnation so they are just okay with it cuz they know who those two are

This part's a little different where I want kind of want to see like maybe the JL to call in Phantom for something like maybe they're having like a threat that they don't know how to deal with it Supernatural or it's just too powerful and everyone's kind of there including Young JL and because Danny is Ghost King he has two of his most trusted people there which are fright knight and Pandora. Pandora knew that Danny was Reincarnation of Penelope. She had an idea that he found his Odysseus but didn't know for sure until she sees Danny and Tim interacting and she knows and she is extremely happy for them. Let's say maybe she goes like aw or something she does something to get the attention of everyone else in the room and they ask what is going on and she's like and she's looking at Tim and Danny and goes I love that strong when he comes once in a millennia the other members are confused ask her what she means and she explains that those two are reincarnated of people who were 2,000 years ago and their love Still Remains and still a strong if not stronger that is a thousand years old love

And that's how the bat family find out Tim's reincarnated of Odysseus and he found his Penelope that's why they moved so fast and they're still 100% supportive

I kind of want one of Tim's best friends to be a Reincarnation of Eumaeus,or  Polites

Feel free to add and go on I'm obsessed with Epic and dcxp right now epic for a longer time I've been a huge fan since I found it and I think I started watch listening to it when it was at the Cyclops Saga so been there for a good portion of time

Just thinking of the Justice League having a movie night and watching something like Lilo and Stitch, and Billy trying his hardest not to laugh at some jokes, cringe moments, funny accidents, etc. The others absolutely know and laugh along so he doesn't feel embarrassed or anything without knowing he's a kid and not just easy to laugh at small things like that. Especially after they find out he's a kid they don't mind him giggling or laughing at the movies or shows.

Every thanksgiving they have a game they play all through November called the turkey hunt basically whichever titan catches the turkey wins. It’s not a normal turkey…. It's beast boy. They have to catch him while he’s transformed into a turkey which leads to lots of chaos with them all being highly trained. Beast boy has to become a turkey for at least three or more hours and that time could be split into whatever increments he wants. So you get all the titans chasing after a green turkey. The JLA had to put the game on pause during meetings as Beast boy tried to hide behind Superman and he got body slammed by all the titans sending him along with the titans through at least three floors.

I know there are a lot of fanfics about Jason being caught by the Justice League and usually getting bailed out by the batfam, but imagine if it was Brucie Wayne bailing him out:

In the JL interrogation room:

Superman: Alright, Red Hood, who is your supplier helping you move drugs in Star City?

Red Hood, who was undercover investigating a drug ring and got caught in a JL bust and sesnses an opportunity to mess with Batman: Look, I know you guys aren't cops, but can I get at least get one phone call?

Justice league looking skeptical?

Red Hood: You can even monitor it.

Green Arrow: Fine one phone call, but it will be monitored.

Hands Hood a phone

Red Hood: Hey Dad, I got stopped by the Justice League. Could you come bail me out? Really, okay, see you soon. Okay, my Dad said that he would bail me, so could we go over to the teleporters?

Green Arrow: Okay, firstly, we aren't cops, you can't just post bail and get out. Secondly, how would this "Dad" get up here?

Red Hood: You'll see.

Minutes later, Brucie Wayne walks in with a trail of Heroes, trying to explain why he cannot be at the Watchtower.

Superman: Mr. Wayne what are you doing here and how did you get here?

Bruce laying the Brucie persona on thick: Well as one of the Justice League's biggest doners and tech suppliers I have access to the teleporters, as for why I'm here it's to bail out my son. Hi Jaylad!

Red Hood fully expecting Batman: What?

Green Arrow remembering his friend's grief over loosing Jason: Ummmm, Mr. Wayne this is the Red Hood. You know "Bag full of severed heads" Red Hood.

Brucie: Yes, I know he's had some issues with his big feelings, but he's still my sweet little boy.

Superman: And you think that he's your late son Jason Todd?

Brucie: Yes, Batman even confirmed it was him. It turns out that after he died, he was brought back by an organization that planned on using him as a weapon against Batman. But he left them and has been working to improve Crime Alley, I'm so proud of him.

Green Arrow: We caught him in Star City with Drug runners.

Brucie: I'm sure he has a good explanation, don’t you Jaylad?

Red Hood still reeling from Bruce showing up as Brucie and not Batman: I was undercover?

Brucie: See perfectly reasonable, now can I please have my baby boy back? Alfred will be so upset if he's not home for dinner.

Surprisingly, this works , the Justice League is to stunned by this revelation and later confirm this with Batman that yes, the notorious Red Hood is the son of Billionaire, philanthropist airhead Brucie Wayne. Jason, meanwhile, has suffered a huge blow to his cred in the Hero community because of the association with Brucie instead of the Batfam. The bat siblings do not let this go anytime soon.

I like the idea of Nightwing being a well-known figure among the hero community, but relatively unknown to the public outside of Gotham and Blüdhaven. Like, he was the first ever sidekick and a kid of one of the Justice League's founding members. Most older heroes are his aunts and uncles, the first generation of sidekicks are his friends, and to the younger ones, he is a mentor and older brother figure. The hero community loves him. But outside of that, he is just a local hero. He sticks to the shadows, and while the people of blüdhaven love him, and the people of Gotham have at least heard of him, he is not very well known.

That is until the Justice League hosts some sort of public event with a lot of younger heroes attending, and one journalist gets an idea for a fun, lighthearted story. They go around asking different heroes and sidekicks who their favorite hero is, and 80% have the same answer: Nightwing

Four years apart! I like some of the things I did in the first one, so I tried to see if I could execute them better now, and I’m happy with the result 💚

So, I wrote this fanfic here, it's a classic one of those where the League has no brain and has never met Bruce's children or even knows his identity, everyone thinks he's some kind of cryptid, and being the way he is, the bat never confirmed but also never denied the allegations, and then he bitterly regrets it when this leads everyone to believe that Nightwing is his husband, and the Batkids have a great time with this unique opportunity, later on I also intend to add Young Justice and the Titans to the pranks. I hope you like it!

Sometimes communities and fandoms online can be... toxic with their comments and opinions.

It can be hard to enjoy something when you see so much hated/negativity around it.

I'm having a hard time trying to type my thoughts out, but what I'm trying to say is;

As long as the things you are enjoying aren't hurting anybody, then continue to enjoy those things. Don't let other people's negatively ruin your view of the thing and bring you down.

SIDE NOTE: Just try to be aware of things like racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, sexism, etc. Those are examples of what I meant by "as the things you are enjoying aren't hurting anybody..."

Everybody has their opinions.

Man, sometimes I read a fic where their version of Superman is so flat he couldn't even cause a papercut and the favored characters are all "Superman is the type of person who always thinks he's doing the right thing" and "Superman doesn't accept criticism" and "Superman is a bumbling farm boy hick stupid head" and "the Justice League is a bunch of elitist hacks and their club is only to hype themselves up because narcissism".

And I gotta. Like. Okay? That's a take, I guess. That's an opinion. It always takes me out of the story though, because it's presented as a known fact of the world of the fic despite little to no indication of those truths being reflected in the rest of the fic. It's a weird whiplash and it always leaves me almost ravenously curious as to what influenced this perception.

Sometimes it's explained as an unreliable narrator, sometimes an author's note will shrug off responsibility with "someone has to be the asshole lol", and sometimes it seems to be really and truly genuine and that is fascinating to me. I want to know the why's. I want to take them for coffee and listen to their perspectives. I want to understand.

One of my favorite Batman and Superman team up comics has a pre-jl storyline where they don't trust each other just yet. And because they don't trust each other, they both leap to save the life of a criminal being thrown out a window - they can't be sure the other won't just let this awful person die "accidentally". And because they were both distracted by that, an innocent hostage ran into the street in a panic and was struck and killed by a truck.

It was such a needless death. It was so bullshit and pointless. Both Superman and Batman recognized the need for trust, the need to let themselves be known enough, vulnerable enough, to not have this happen again.

And can y'all imagine how both their stories might have changed if future writers, canon and fanfic alike, kept that character growth in mind?

This is the chaos I'm here for damnit. I wanna eat this as a long form, slow burn, multi-chapter, identity porn fic because it'd be delicious.

I've had this idea rotating in my head for a while about a specific scenario in a universe where nobody is ever clued in on the fact that the bats are related. They just assume that Robin, Red Robin, Red Hood, Nightwing, and everybody else just coincidentally happens to be Gotham (+Bludhaven) based like Batman is.

Do me a favor and imagine the aftermath of some stage five hall hands on deck crisis where everyone and their team has to gather for debriefing and for medical care. Everybody shows up with their respective teams, Nightwing with his Titans, Red Robin with the old members of YJ, Red Hood with the Outlaws, Batman with the JL ect ect.

Everyone is super tired from the battle and none of them are even given a moment to breathe before Red Hood and Red Robin start beefing on sight. Before anybody can even think to intervene, Nightwing, Orphan, Spoiler, Robin, and Signal join in and they all just start bickering at one another.

Everybody thinks they're about to fight. Like seriously start hashing it out. Thing is, YJ are RR's ride or dies. If RR starts fighting Nightwing then the YJ are gonna fight Nightwing. And then the titans are gonna fight the YJ because those are Nightwing's ride or dies. Same goes for all the teams and their respective leaders.

Everyone looks across the room going, "Am I gonna have to fight you? Man, I don't wanna fight you." They could not wanna fight because of the prior battle, out of respect for their potential opponents, or because they know that opponent would whoop their ass. But they'll still do it because that's their leader.

Eventually all of them stop their bickering, suspending the room in tense silence, as they stare each other down. Everybody is bracing themselves for the first punch and the JL is preparing to break up the fight, but instead the silence is broken by all of the birds turning their heads in one direction and yelling, "Daaaaaaddd!"

The room is dead silent enough that everyone can hear Batman's exhausted sigh echo through the room before it's followed by, "You're all grounded."

Fucking LOVING this energy, yes, thank you, this is a great take on a classic trope!

Jason would be so frustrated. He's kept his secret identity, but at what cost? I can only imagine the ribbing he'd get from his team once they find out, let alone the other Bats.

Now I'm thinking of the next inevitable invasion where all hands are on deck and half the League is wondering why Jason is still dressed as the Red Hood and the other half is wondering if the Bats don't know that that's Jason.

My favorite fic trope is the "JLA meets the batfam because they arrested Jason as he was undercover and now the family is coming to pick him up" one, but imagine. Jason gets arrested by the JLA while undercover, and is brought in for questioning, but before any of the batfam members even notice that he is gone, Green Arrow walks into the interrogation room.

"It's okay, Superman, you can let him go."

"Green Arrow, Red Hood is a wanted criminal on the JLA:s most wanted list-"

"What? No, no he isn't, that's just Jason."

Superman stares. Jason stares too.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me, that's just Jason, my son-in-law. You can let him go."

"...your son-in-law is the Red Hood?"

"No? Jason's not the Red Hood, he is just dressed as the Red Hood. He's in a mercenary group with my son, he does that. It's pretty easy to dress up as someone who doesn't show their face for a job. Jason's no Red Hood, let me tell you that. Or I guess I don't have to tell you that, since you've already arrested him."

Jason's not really sure if he wants to murder Oliver or not.

Superman stares. Oliver raises a brow.

"So? Can I have him back, please, we have a family dinner today and we're already a bit late."

"...sure."

Jason gets let out. Oliver throws an arm around his shoulders as they walk towards the zeta tubes.

"I hate you, Queen."

"You're welcome, kiddo."

JLA does leave Jason alone after that, though, because every time they see him outside of Gotham, they just go "oh that's just Jason dressed up as the Red Hood again, move on" and Jason doesn't know if he should be annoyed or not. It does make his work easier, but at the same time, it somehow feels like an insult.
