Father hasth gambled than I shall read a mere eleventeen pages of my lovely light novel. With the knowledge I have severe reading block and have not dared touch this literature for many moons, I have utter confidence that I will read another 51.
I bought the fifteen light novel a while ago (I still need to finish reading it because things happened and I got distracted) but when I was reading that scene in I think chapter one? Where its dazai and mori talking, I must have missed a word while going reading it because I thought it said dazai was his illegitimate son and I've never been more confused for a few moments ;-; I had to read the sentence again to realise it said he was not his son
Skk's entire relationship in a single frame:
I cannot put into words how much this line from the fifteen light novel means to me.
One hundred matches. They played close to a hundred games against each other. Because they're both just fifteen year old boys. Fifteen year old boys who were forced to grow up way too fast in a world that only dealt them trashy cards. Two boys who claim to hate each other...who found an equal in each other. Someone else they could be a child with. And in middle of a dangerous mission, a mission that involves Chuuya believing he's a god of destruction, a mission that involves Dazai searching for the old boss because he was forced to false-witness his murder, in middle of all of this, they played a hundred games at an arcade. Because they were just kids.
Just found out I can read the fifteen light novel on MangaGo and I am enjoying the art style and all the little details Harukawa added. Beautiful.
