Head Of The House

Listen, it's Bruce's manor, right? It's literally Wayne Manor, birthright, yada yada yada. He owns it.

But it's not his house.

It's Alfred's house, and Alfred's rules. Alfred has the last say because, he's been there longer than Bruce and Bruce trusts his judgement.

Also, because I feel like even though Bruce is super organized when it comes to stuff about his kids and being Batman, this man has no idea where stuff like his birth certificate is

He's just kinda never needed to find it? Like, he knows it's somewhere. But Alfred knows where it is.

When the kids wanna ask for something for the house(painting the rooms, new room furniture, new pets) they do have to ask Bruce, but they also have to pre-ask Alfred to make sure it's okay.

Touille was the team chef and nutritionist. But nowadays just relaxes and enjoys cooking for the others. During the "incident" that i haven't figured out a cool name for it. Basically all you need to know is Baba is a traitor.(They also are pretty sure Simon killed her to protect the others but they are wrong, but I will be referring to her as dead.) during it, he lost half his tail.

This is Baba in this au. She was the team scout and supplier. During the betrayal incident, she actually did live and went back to working for the Prototype, however she is missing a couple wool patches.

This one is my oc, Michi Token, the team's second in command and wildcard. Or she used to be. She had a very powerful magic based on the celestial body Spica in the constellation Virgo. But somehow during the incident, Baba used some sort of red smoke that completely drained Michi's powers and also puncture her lungs. She managed to survive but now uses an air filter mask and can't use magic. She is very upset about this as before she felt like she could help her team before, but couldn't.

This is Rabie in this au. She was the team's undercover agent and Intel recon agent. In this au, she had an on-again-off-again ex named Tyler and (because for some reason my brain went "what if mama ba?") is her early first trimester of pregnancy. She got a lot of wing tears and scars from the betrayal incident.

This is this au's Poe, the team medic and tactician. Nowadays he's mostly just in charge of everyone making sure to take their meds and take care of themselves. During the betrayal incident he lost his leg, which is obvious. And got a mechanical replacement which he hates as not it causes him to land awkwardly any time he flies.

This is Simon, team captain and kinda a powerhouse. He's very protective and during the betrayal incident, he lost part of his horn and had to kill Baba to protect the others. He feels guilty over it. Not because he feels guilty for attacking her, his team is his hoard and she tried to hurt them, but more like he didn't want to just kill her. He has nightmares about it rarely. He's also super rich and singlehandedly pays for the team. He's fifteenth in line of his home planet, who get buy on the export of gold(which is practically as common as dirt on his planet) but he's very wise with his money.

This is Icky Licky, he was the team sharpshooter and certified tiny beanpole. During the incident, he lost his arm, and got it replaced mechanically. He hates though, because he feels like he isn't as good of a sharpshooter anymore.

This is Maggie, she was the team powerhouse and underwater specialist. She lost parts of her fins in the betrayal incident and can't swim as fast anymore. She also has an adorable pet tarantula named Momo.

This is allister, he was also a team powerhouse, but specialized in melee and security. He has narcolepsy(not sure if it's the right word but it's the condition where he sleeps randomly). He lose his eye in the betrayal incident. Like... the entire eyeball, there's just a socket. He'll usually wear a patch over it(like a bandage patch) but when going somewhere Fancy he'll wear a crystal glass eye Simon got him

Claws Is Colorblind

On a mission where the Justice League is working with Scarecrow to take out a trafficking ring(bc even Scarecrow doesn't support trafficking. Human rights bitch).

Claws(Aka Darlene though no one knows this), trying to figure out a color-coded note: "Uh... which ones the clue?"

Scarecrow, who is restrained bc the League reasonably doesn't trust him: "The pink one, Claws."

Claws: ".... Which one?"

Scarecrow, blinking: "The pink one?"

Claws: "........"

Green Arrow: "Claws.... what's wrong?"

Claws: "There's no pink one."

Black Canary: "Yeah, it's right there-..... Claws, are you colorblind?"

Green Arrow: "What color am I?"

Claws, squinting: "..... Um..... Yellow?"

Scarecrow: "uh.... who's gonna tell her?"

i want a blind person superhero who's only power/weapon IS their cane. We're talking beating criminals with it, having little gadgets in it, and whatnot. I want them to also have a seeing eye dog that just has laser eyes or something

Honestly as a blind person I’m so tired of seeing fictional blind characters who don’t use white canes or other guides. “They have special powers so they know what’s around them” or “they’re confident enough to not need a guide” are common tropes, and I’m tired.

Are people scared that using a white cane will make their blind character seem weak? They can’t use a cane because they’re so special that they already know what’s around them, and other blind people who use guides are inferior because they’re not special?

I’m tired. Give your blind characters white canes and other guides. Let them hold onto their friends, let them have guide dogs. Don’t make white cane users feel ostracized for not being “strong enough” to go without.

Another thing that pisses me off is when a sighted character comes up with the fantasy equivalent of braille and teaches it to the blind character. Braille was invented by Louis Braille, a blind man, in 1824. The blind character should be the one coming up with it.

Baba Chops In My Au!

Codename: Black Sheep

Uniform Accent Color: Black

Symbol: Skull

Height: (undecided but she's in the middle of two extremes. She's like average height.)

Age: (again, haven't figured out age yet, but is kinda in the middle of all the others)

Eye color: Stone gray.

Role: Scout.

Weapon: Sickles.

Celestial Power: None. At least none known or active. But, unknown to the others at the time this picture was(which would be when they were still on missions but before her betrayal), her sickles are coated in a distilled form of the protoype's red smoke, specifically a strain to cause paralysis for a few hours. She also has a bit of immunity due to the tattoo marking(which you can see on her stomach as supposed to be the protoype's claw marks but she's covering it with makeup in the pic) and it makes her immune because of yet to be determined reasons. I'm trying okay?

Home planet: Baba grew up in many of the cult's different compounds, so she didn't have a home planet really. Though it was most likely she had been born on a planet that had been destroyed by the protoype's red smoke, where the cult decided to station a compound.

Upbringing: For being raised in a cult, it was.. somewhat healthy-ish. Aside from the obvious bad stuff, she actually grew up pretty happy and healthy, physically. Mentally is... Questionable. She was actually tutored by the protoype's second in command, The Doctor (who's name in this au escapes me even though I feel like he got mentioned?), since she showed immense potential. She was trained to infiltrate the Space Riders.

School Life: Was definitely a loner, most of the school didn't even know she went to school with them type of loner. Had no social life and didn't want any. She only occasionally hung around the nightmare critter crew(as this would've been when they also attended the space Rider school) in large group settings, but they weren't really friends. She got really good grades and was always on time. The counselor recommended she not be given a gun.

First Mission: she actually joined later than the others on the Nightmare Critters crew, but her first mission was very tense since the team had been well established at the time and she kinda threw them off. She did well on the mission, despite not listening to a single word he others said. The mission was a failure for reasons unknown to the others, but Baba absolutely knew why.

Last Mission(aka, the one she betrayed them on) Took fucking pride in taunting them, especially Simon. She was ruthless and savage in the attack, as was Yarnaby. But she enjoyed watching the betrayed looks on the others faces. She insulted and attacked their vulnerabilities. After Simon's attack that 'killed her'(at least it seemed that way to the Space Riders) Yarnaby had to drag her away to safety, despite her protests that she could fight more.

Orientations(did they go to any for the younger space riders?): nope. Not once. Stayed back to do maintenance on the ship. Would have rather stabbed herself than breathed the same air as those people.

Injuries(inflicted from the last Mission): Lots of burnt wool, bald spots, and burn marks. Most of her bald spots have been covered by yarn from Yarnaby, but she still is so salty about it. She also has a slight limp, but will deny it fiercely if asked.

Family: Unknown. As she was raised in a cult, she was taken from her mother at a very young age, and even then from her caretakers when the prototype took her under his wing. But she doesn't really care. She only ever wanted to know for medical reasons.

Solo Missions: Never went on them, since she always needed an alibi and honestly didn't wanna do rock, paper scissors, with another cultist to figure out which one of them had to lose.

Reputation: Had the worst reputation as she was blunt and harsh with everyone but her crew. She didn't care though, her goal was to cause discourse.
