lmao this Mardi Gras scenario made me think of them just celebrating holidays in the complete wrong time of the year, like it's the middle of summer and Mickey and Makki are dressed in a Onceler and Papa Smurf costume respectively, walking around town with a giant bucket of candy in their arms and periodically shouting "HAPPY HALLOWEEN" before throwing fistfuls of candy at people😭, the kids around town love it, their parents are trying to steer them away from the two while looking at them as if they're about to snatch their kids and shove them into a van💀

(yes they did paint Makki entirely blue, and yes he did drip blue paint all over the ground because apparently full body paint in the middle of summer wasn't the greatest idea. (the town cleaner had to spend several hours the next day scrubbing blue paint out of the footpath. Cory made Makki apologise. Mei was too busy shaking on the floor trying to hold in hysterical bursts of laughter while listening to Makki's story))

ooo yes very sporty, not like any specific sport tho, just has the level of athleticism that pisses everyone else off because he's genuinely amazing at every single sport he tries, although more often than not uses his athletic prowess to cause shit, like climbing on the roof of the building opposite the council building to hang up a massive aquarium petition sign (and if you see him doing it, no you didn't, no one would even believe you if you told them)

(Makki totally disabled the security cameras for him, because what screams romance like teaming up to deface public property?)

-has been trying to convince the rest of toothache for the past year that they absolutely must film their own ghost hunting show, says it'll be good “marketing” for their band (he just wants to go ghost hunting)

Mickey accepts that his diet of cigarettes and strawberry frosting is going to have to persist till he finds yet another job (*looks to the 4th wall* "seriously how does such a small town have a seemingly infinite supply of jobs?")

-super book smart and can do rlly complex math off the top of his head but has like zero common sense or street smarts (never looks both ways before crossing the street, is always this 🤏 close to getting hit by a car) (yes toothache bought him a child's leash for Christmas)

-he's that one crazy person who dumps all their fav songs into one single playlist and practically plays russian roulette with song genres every time he hits the shuffle button

-cannot tell a white lie to save his life, but telling an absolutely outrageous lie involving a rescuing a barn full of puppies, a car chase, and getting abducted by aliens?? he says that shit with 100% confidence and people just believe him

omg him thinking he's at a punk show is absolutely hilarious,, I feel like her and Makki are the same brand of insane, like toothache are performing a rlly slow/emotional song, the crowd is all somber, and then there's just Mickey and Makki jumping up and down and waving their arms like they're at a rock concert and hyping each other up, the rest of toothache is giving Makki the stinkeye and the crowd is ✨very✨ confused

I imagine that every time they pass each other in the grocery store they give each other a head nod in approval at their baskets filled with equally weird shit, Mickey's basket is filled solely with cat treats for the cat cafe and Makki is piling as many tins of canned soup into his basket as possible (he doesn't even like soup) because he suddenly decided he had to be prepared for if the apocalypse hit tomorrow
