Take this as my kinda last minute post for pride month and Mt design for the smiling critters at the same time.

I wanted to make their medallions into their own unique designs incorporated to their person. I like to imagine each has their own power thanks to their medallions. They're mainly passive abilities and represents certain aspects of them.

A fresh banner with a new look!

I love my sona, and a lot of time I use my sona to reflect my personal journey. It's original was very different but it had a lot of problem and it was during a chapter of my life where things weren't great. So my idea of moving on from it is by changing my sona, like I'm starting a new chapter. Some of you probably remembered I had a poll asking what color scheme you like on my sona which was a huge mistake for me.

The issue was that I was trying to force some stuff to work together and as any experienced artist know is that you can't FORCE things to work! I was trying to keep the original dark pink hair and force some colors to work with it. When the pinky color scheme had the most votes I put them on my second draft for my sona and I wasn't happy at all.

The dark pink and lighter pink just makes my sona look like Pinkie Pie! I have nothing against her but I just know people will just be thinking "It looks like Pinkie Pie as a unicorn" and that's not what I want! So I took out the pink and tried different color pallets to see what I like and works well together. The indigo/violet colors works so well with the gold accents and made them pop.

Another issue I was struggling, which I had struggled with for years, was my art style. I love zoophobia and the potential it has, so much that I tried to work with the style. But it made me struggle with how my sona is structured in the face! It didn't look right or just looks scrunched up. I took a break from drawing for that Fandom and moved on to others like Welcome Home and Smiling Critters.

NOTE: The smiling critters a separate from the horror elements as it canonically has it's own show before the plushies in Playtime Co.

When I was drawing the characters that are more like plushies, dolls, or puppets I felt a lot better. When I gave up on making my style like zoophobia it just feels like it came more natural, like I'm not forcing it to work. Drawing like this felt more freeing for me and it made me happy. It left me feeling happier with the result, especially with the face!

So if you're struggling with your style or designing something don't try to force it. Just have fun with whatever style you want and you'll feel happier.

I know I have been all over the place about when or if I post but I got something I feel is worthy to posy about!

I was practicing backgrounds!! It took me hours if you don't count having to charge my tablet, and I feel so happy how it came out! You can see where I was experimenting with the trees and the lily flowers don't look thar great but the point of this was for me to practice and experiment with different brushes. I love the textures the brushes gave me as it gives off a children's story book vibe. Which is really great since I want to one day be a illustrator for children's books!

I really want to make art a sort of career/passion for me so I feel more happy with what I do. I mean that's what's most important right? To just do what makes you happy? I don't know when that day will come but I want to work hard towards it. I guess the hardest part for me is feeling happy with my drawings and putting myself out there. I have a mini series and working on some smiling critters designs right now that focus on character designs.

I'm currently standing in a Welcome Home and smiling critters fandoms. The plush and puppet aesthetic is kinds comforting to me. I'm not going to do anything with Poppy Playtime as I rather focus more on the toon show of smiling critters and not the horror toys comes to life game plot. Since the smiling critters show are canonically separate from plush versions in the game it's a lot easier for me to focus on them and make my own au without dealing with horror elements from the game. The fact the smiling critters gives off care bears and MLP from my childhood felt so comforting to me. Nowadays it's hard to deal with so much negativity in the world right now and we need some positivity to cope. For me it's things that would remind me of my childhood, back when things were happier and simpler like Sesame Street, the Muppets, or Care Bears.

Celeste Angelsong

Hight: 5'11

Age: 21

Looks: A Black and white bunny

Personality: Mostly by herself but when people get to know her, she really kind and will do anything for her friend's which can lead her to be a bit of people please

Role: She does all the odd jobs in the space rider HQ to clean up of a planet to solo missions thank to her mostly mellow out personalia

Power: She has the power to control sound witch can calm down battle fields and clear whole mountains, but the two-draw back are she can only use her power if she still has her voice (i.e. if she lost her voice and or get sick, she won't be able to us it) and it how loud or quite she can be by using her voice(for the quite calming effect to work you still have to hear her) . The quitter she is the more likely to calm people down, the louder she is the more damage she does.

Overdrive: She usually good on keeping herself not using her powers so much, but once in the blue moon when she overdrives it hard to get close to her because she not usually quite when she Overdrive. After and overdrive she will have a headack and lost her voice, so she usually put under rest for a week or two.

What this an OC??

(this is base off of @onyxonline space rider AU and its goanna be real ruff because I don't have a really clear story wise of the event but I'll try my best to get the bases of this OC)

Pre-prototype

Celeste AngelSong is a tall black and white bunny that was a heiress to high-class noble in her home planet before taken over by the prototype. She was what a family want in an heiress a strong and kind young lady. The only reason they say they said this is because she was mostly lock in her room reading. She a strong daydreamer and want to be an artist. That only when she has the free time because she is the heiress to the noble household, she stresses, over work and need to please everyone.

Post-prototype

After her home planet was attack, she was left with really nothing for her, she no longer have a family, home, or future. So, she did what she knew best, pick up what was left and rebuild. When she finds out that the Space Rider was hiring, she couldn't say no. She been working for the space rider for a bit over a year and no one really know what she does for a job. Mostly because she by herself or doing odd job for HQ. Those who talk to her said she quite mellow and a bit talkative.

Queen Gaia just got her twins to sleep. Both Dogday and Catnap wanted to see their father when he came home tonight. She couldn't blame them she too wants to see her husband tonight. Not only will he be there for a longer but also be home for the twin's 4th birthday next week. She can only hope he will stay longer before going out again for the war. She was all most to the throne room when she heard a yell be hide her. "Your highness" it was rush out of the Messager mouth as they ran in. "What new do you give tonight?" she asks with a smile. "It your husband, he died this morning in the battlefield, I'm sorry your highness." the Messager softly said to the now widowed Queen Gaia. Queen face slowly turned one of shock, as she run though her head of what they just said. "I-I I'm sorry come again" she said not believing the words coming out of the Messager mouth. Her beloved die on the battlefield without the warmth of his family by him. Leaving not only her not only widowed but their children fatherless. This must be some cruel joke someone came up with. "My highness, I only speak of the truth you husband had die this morning" the Messager said in pity. "I'm sorry I need to take my leave" Gaia said before rushing off. Gaia heart couldn't take it, he was gone, and she can't do anything about it. She opens the door to her bedroom now. She tries to stand up using her bed, but she couldn't keep herself up any longer and falls onto the floor. she let out soft sobs, that slowly turn into a wail of pain. How is she going to explain this to her boys. She didn't get any sleep that night.

(Hopely I didn't do Queen Gaia dirty. I also know I took some leap with the ages(maybe), but I think Catnap and Dogday being thee made more senses to me. They remeber their father but like not a lot if you know what I mean. Nova I hope you like this, it is my first ever fanfic I posted that wasn't for myself. Also, if people like this I may write more about nova au and or mine own)
