bakugo's apology made me bitch cry y'all
thinking about the miraculous ladybug scene where ladybug takes chat noir’s hand and promises, i’ll never abandon you, and the look of pure shock and wonder chat gives her in return.
imagine you are adrien agreste. your mother’s gone. your father is absent in every way that matters, and it’s nearly worse then loosing your mom, because your father? he chose to leave you. he chose the coldness and the calculated control and to bury your love a hundred feet down in a coffin of its own. and then, one day, you are chosen to wield the power of destruction and you think, this makes sense. maybe you were born from misfortune and meant for ruination. cataclysm isn’t an entirely a foreign concept to you, after all. you’ve grown up seeing every relationship and bit of hope around you break down and rust and dissolve into dust.
then you fall in love with a girl who creates, who pulls both ideas and the tangible manifestation of them out of thin air. she is fortune, everything you are not, but you love her with everything you are.
still, the fear that this girl - that the luckiness that’s touched your life - will abandon you when you least expect it is always lurking somewhere in the back of your mind. you’re scared that, one day, you will wait alone on a rooftop until a starry night sky turns to sunshine, and she’ll never show. everyone leaves you. good luck is not yours. this is just a fact you know.
so you tell her this beneath a painted orange sky, and then much to your surprise, this living, breathing personification of good luck takes your hand, stares into your scared eyes, and swears, i’ll never leave you.

As for their conversation at the beginning, I think we could say it's around ch. 429, when Bakugou asks Deku how the embers are doing. He answered in front of everyone, but he was a little more honest in private later 😕

grocery store employee!shouto who spots you looking lost in aisle 12 and lingers by the end,,, just in case you needed any help. and to his delight, you did!
he sees the way the pout forms on your lips asking if they had a missing ingredient you needed in stock and before he can even process what he’s saying, he’s lying to you. he’s leading you across the store, saying he thinks they might’ve changed locations.. let’s go check.
so you make small talk as you follow closely behind him; and when you arrive at the aisle he led you to, his lack of embarrassment suggests that maybe he really did think that was the correct spot (even if you were standing around pre-packaged bakery items when you were looking for tomato paste).
but when he apologizes and takes you to another aisle, you start to catch on that he probably is prolonging his time spent helping you.
from the way he didn’t seem to truly be looking for the right aisle to him seeming genuinely invested in your mindless answers to his small talk, you smile at his antics. and to save you from wandering around another 5 aisles you speak up.
“ah, how about i give you my number and you can just call me when it comes back in stock,” you suggest, noting the way the corners of his lips turn up in favor of his victory. you catch the name printed on his name tag.. shouto. he’s cute
shyly nodding, he goes to pull out his phone when he accidentally takes out the scanner that could’ve told you exactly where your tomato paste was in the first place. he awkwardly chuckles, hoping you didn’t notice. (you did)
it doesn’t bother him too much because you’re giggling and taking his actual phone to add your contact information, so who really won.

i've been thinking about shinso working at a radio store and visiting him at work a lot lately so i wrote a lil drabble about it
the purple-haired boy perked up at the dinging of the door, announcing a customer's arrival. as he looked up, a grin graced his face upon his eyes landing on the love of his life.
he chuckled to himself as you began to browse through the records, pretending like you weren't there to greet your boyfriend.
"can i help you?" he asked, walking up to you and leaning against a nearby crate containing music.
"looking for something to impress a cute boy," you replied with a soft grin, still pretending not to know him.
"oh, yeah? what's he like?" he inquired, playing into your game.
"y'know, purple hair, quiet, kinda grunge vibes, works at a radio store, that kinda stuff," you describe your boyfriend, continuing to browse through the records.
"hm. he sounds familiar," shinso comments, trying to see how far you'd go with this bit.
"yeah? maybe you know him. maybe he works with you," you playfully suggest, finally going to look at him.
"yeah, maybe," he laughs softly before gently pressing his lips to yours.

If Bakugou started using words that Kirishima would normally use after spending so much time with him, I think Kirishima would start having the same facial expressions as Bakugou.
Neither of them has noticed it yet but surely the rest of the class has.

Sephiroth and cadet cloud spend the day together!
Sephiroth is out on a solo mission and brought Cloud along to teach him the ropes. After a long day of work, they settle down at their campsite.
The glowing fire heats their faces, the cup in Cloud's hand is warm enough to lull him into a sense of safety, and he just can't get a thought out of his head.
"Sephiroth?" Cloud asks after a period of mutual silence.
Sephiroth looks up from his own tea. "Yes?"
Cloud looks back down at his tea. "Do you think we're friends in every universe."
Sephiroth considers.
"I don't know," he replies. "Are there others besides this one?"
Cloud begins to swirl the liquid in its cup. Anxiety has sunk it's teeth three inches deep into his shoulder blades.
"Maybe there are. Maybe there's one out there where we're enemies, you and I."
Sephiroth's eyebrows flash. He makes a quiet noise of amusement before setting his own cup on the ground in front of him.
"Well, if such a life even exists..."
Cloud feels Sephiroth's gloved hand weigh on his shoulder. He looks up, surprised to see the older man smiling at him.
"I'm glad we're not a part of it."

obi-wan: give me a minute.

My fucking heart.
So uh- just got into the fandom really- read the whole manga (that’s out) in 2 weeks just finishing today and uh- fuck-
Lapras mate for life and ever find themselves another partner after the passing of their previous one.
So seeing this bull on his own with two calves it's likely that his partner had passed leaving him to rear the kids on his own. Judging by the sheer size of this specimen he's fairly old and probably has a fair bit of experience raising previous calves. His partner possibly died of old age before he did. So the calves are in very good hands.
I just wanted to repost this on here, today celebrates the anniversary of me getting my bird Pika :)
