She died shortly after the mushroom wars, but during an oozer / zombie outbreak, them bitches decided to bite anyone in a grave (in this case makeshift grave) who wasn’t already reanimated, hence the bite mark on her arm and why she ended up a zombie in the first place.

Cause of death is undecided currently, but ik I want it to have something to do with her facial scars and the GIANT FUCKING HOLE IN HER SIDE-

I ended up making a rough Marcy timeline to get a vague idea of when where and whos it and what’s it take place.

I just realized a funny lil comic im planning on doing needs a pre-explanation, so heres a quick run down on what exactly Finn is. (The “how?” will be expanded in the comic its fr not that deep lmao)

Finished the lil sketch I showed off on my last AU post, man…. I love being an artist B)

So what exactly is the premise of this AT au?

I have a few AU’s going on right now, but i’ll list off the ones I have posted here for time and for the sake of my poor grammar skills.

The first one I ever showed on my blog was my interpretation of Finn growing up with Minerva on the islands, I took the line “You grew up to be a helper too?” and RAN with it bookie. I do plan for Finn to end up stranded in Ooo at some point, but we’ll see ;)

The second is basically a crossover AU with Rise of the TMNT and, well, Adventure Time. This one originated because I wanted to see how my human Leo design would look over a Marceline screenshot, then I realized that he looked out of place next to PB so I drew my silly lil yokai-mutant Jackson over her as a gum-oni-nekomata hybrid.

After that I sorta just assigned a character in another characters place and well, now we’ve got April the Human and Raph the Turtle!

The third AU isn’t completely mine, the vampire - emo finn idea came form sufyaaaa on insta and finnsemophase here on tumblr, after that I just added my own bits and pieces to it, which actually leads to AU four.

For AU four at first I wanted to just draw the Finn - Candy Queen idea but then I started thinking about it story wise and well, I think im gonna merge it in a bit with the vampire Finn AU, where Finn grew up human with Minerva in the wastelands instead of the islands and met Bonnie losing herself to pure elemental magic. (Which makes a lot of sense if you think about it) Im WAY OPEN to suggestions for whatever the FUCK to do with Martin cuz I honestly have no clue. 😭🤙

Anyways, I hope this cleared things up! Most of these are just me wanting Finn to interact with Minerva more since we got so little of them, but nevertheless I’ll expand beyond that thirst since people have been enjoying them more than I expected lmao.

Tom Riddle AU - Adventure Time

I haven’t even watched Adventure Time but just by watching the clips on YouTube I can say with certainty that if Simon Petrikov had raised Tom Riddle there would have been no Voldemort. 

This man convinced an evil immortal alien that made even the Lord of Evil pause to view him as a father figure. Not to mention Marceline, the daughter of said Lord of Evil. Both informal adoptions happened while he was some kind of insane. Bro wasn’t even at his best and still managed to dad like a champ.

Simon takes one look at these ‘lost’ causes and doesn’t waste time asking “is anyone gonna raise that?” He’s already there reaching through broken glass for a teddy bear. 

So Tom “born from a love potion so he’s not able to feel love” Riddle doesn’t stand a chance. Also just the thought of Tom living it up in Ooo as the immortal older brother to Marceline just sounds cool. Wizard King Tom anyone?

i think PB is like an inversion of Ash.

Ash sells Marceline's most precious item (Hambo) for his own gain

Bubblegum sacrifices something she values deeply (her rock shirt) to get Hambo back for Marceline

Ash uses Magic to change Marceline Mentally, removing something (her memories) for his own gain

PB uses Science to change Marceline Physically, removing something (the vampire juice) for Marceline

Ash is a Misogynist

PB is a Certified Woman Lover

everytime someone says PB would change Marceline without her consent, an angel not only loses their wings but falls into the nightosphere to be devoured by Hunson.

PB has always loved Marcy's quirks, even before their breakup

also there's an entire miniseries where PB changes Marcy but it's to what MARCY wanted. if PB wanted to control Marcy that badly, she would've just declined to revive her, or never even made the machine in the first place. it's easier to control someone who has a limit on the kind of food they eat and when they can go outside, isn't it? not to mention she'd prefer it if Marcy lived forever with her. But she revived her anyways because she fucking loves Marcy for Marcy

idk what actually happened but i imagine the writers seeing ppl upset about the "blink and you'll miss it" bubbline kiss in CAWM and said "okay. we will make 45 minutes about bubbline. and a close-up shot of them kissing. and this time bubblegum initiates it. and there's a sorta sappy song about them instead of the usual angsty songs" and we all cheered

PLEASEE TALK ABOUT MARCY AND FERN PARALLELS I NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOU MEANN

ok so the main thing that made me notice it was the "red starved episode", the whole thing where marceline didn't want to hurt anyone but her nature as a vampire forced her to because she needed to feed

so we have fern. he's a hero, he doesn't want to hurt anyone. but he messes up all the time. and eventually gives in to his cursed nature from the grass demon because it's exhausting to fight it.

and they're both kinda haunted. like the grass demon & the vampire king hallucination things

and also i think their conditions (the grass demon, vampirism) are a little bit disability coded. especially mentally for fern, he tries to do one thing and ends up doing something completely different.

also their transformation scenes are the same genre of disturbing to me. humanity taken against their will

i hope this is coherent. i can also talk about a couple fern and PB similarities maybe

Opinion on Bubbline in Elements?

ok first i gotta comment on how i love marshmaline. like campfire queen and shes a marshmallow bc marshmallows burn idk its so clever to me. and her color scheme is so pretty

anyway for elements bubbline I don't have a lot of comprehensible thoughts on them in the series itself but in "ketchup" where it tells us about them leading up to elements its rlly cool .bc it implies that Marceline literally ripped off parts of herself and regrew them with her healing powers to not turn into candy

she went and fought an elemental trying to save PB but when PB changed marcy completely gave up. and she definitely blamed herself for PB being turned bc she wasn't around and maybe thats why Marshmaline hangs out around PB all the time, literally never leaves her side the whole miniseries, to protect her i think

i keep wondering if Marceline ever pulled this "what do you think of me now?" thing on PB

like one day she gets a bit insecure and tries to push PB away by becoming this big monster thing and PB's freaky ass is just like. Damn!

idk if PB and Marcy already knew eachother in this scene or not but I choose to believe they don't yet bc imagine going to your celebrity crush's concerts and one time she sees you and recognizes you from past concerts and then she TAKES OFF HER SHIRT that is all sweaty from her dancing & being in the spotlights and THROWS IT TO YOU and you catch it so excited and happy feeling lucky and then you look up and she WINKS AT YOU and you realize she's INTO YOU TOO AND THREW IT YOUR WAY ON PURPOSE
