I give you… Akutagawa as Ashitaka!! (A continuation.)

I tried that scanning thing again and it actually isn’t too bad. (besides the fact that it took me nearly 30 minutes to scan bc of the high dpi lol)

(And yes, I basically just looked up a bunch of photos of Ashitaka and drew Akutagawa in his place, but the poses are iconic!!!! I typically try to draw my own poses as much as possible, but this was a must! I assure you that I did not trace in the slightest.)

Here is one more sketch of Knight Akutagawa before I go insane and forget to draw anything else!

His hair was kinda hard tbh. I was actually thinking about some how turning some of my sketches into stickers, but I suck when it comes to using a pen for drawing.

Also, I’m glad everyone seems to be liking my drawings of characters riding horses. I used to be even worse then I am now with drawing people on horses, but hopefully I can get better!

I adore her imp form so much! But, her helmet is really hard to draw. I couldn’t imagine having to draw it in the detail they do for the manga.

Also, glad to see another Twilight Princess fan!!! Definitely my favourite Zelda. (I actually have the entire manga series now and that’s what I used for reference.)

FUN FACT: back when I was more active on Instagram, I used to draw models in ww2 uniforms a lot. I have a large repertoire of different poses and lots of photos of ww2 uniforms from different countries.

I used to draw lots of poses with different guns too! (My favourites to draw were Russian especially.)

I might post some of them here if people are interested.

I used to love sketching Ed making silly faces, but it’s been a while.

When you draw a certain character a lot, you tend to eventually be able to sketch them up without reference. Such was the case with Edward once upon a time. Unfortunately, I haven’t remembered to draw him as much anymore.

I completely forgot she existed tbh… and I also forgot how awesome her hair is!!!

I realized that I suck at whole body poses so I decided to revert back to my go to skill when all is lost and drew a few face profiles, along with this poorly attempted full body sketch. I think it’s safe to say that I enjoy drawing her face lol (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)

Also, my pencil decided to be a pill and kept causing me to draw thicker lines then intended. (I’m telling you, that thing has a mind of it’s own!)

Took me a few days because I wanted to figure out how to scan it instead of taking a photo. Looks a little washed out, but it will do.

I kept seeing chart things like this and decided to try it myself. Honestly, it was really tempting to put Akutagawa on all of them…

I actually have quite a few current favourites, but I decided to go with Vaati because I don’t draw his Hylian form nearly as much as I would like. ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

I like to imagine Ivan loves to horseback ride on big drafts in the winter time. Maybe he goes bareback sometimes? Who knows.

He seems a bit short on top of that horse but, oh well.

4. Twilight Princess Link and Midna

This is now the second time I have drawn Midna. Ever. She is really difficult to draw, mostly because of her crown thing. The first time I tried drawing her (which was years ago) I horribly butchered her face, eyes and helmet. After that first failed attempt, I decided to simply never try drawing her (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

However, this time around proved to be a bit easier, mostly because I figured I would go for simplicity instead of trying to sketch every detail of the helmet. I can’t understand how the mangakas of the TP manga were able to draw it in the detail they did through an entire series.

Overall, I am pretty pleased with the outcome! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

Of course, Zelda from Twilight Princess (my favourite game)

I do actually like Zelda from SS, but I find her difficult to draw and she isn’t my favourite. Minish Cap Zelda is one of my favourites to draw, actually. ദ്ദി(｡•̀ ,<)~✩‧₊

I tried really hard but gave up to draw her eyes and hair correctly. The puffy sleeves of her dress are so hard for some reason! I’ve actually never drawn Seychelles before, but this was kind of fun. I’m actually pretty pleased with how her normal version’s face turned out. ( • ̀ω•́ )✧

This is actually the initial first sketch I did. I was going to draw her normal counterpart beside this, but the part of my brain in charge of figuring out proportions didn’t really want to work… ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌

Denmark’s hair is quite tricky to draw! I actually haven’t drawn Denmark or Sweden before. Although, Sweden looks a bit strange without his glasses. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) I actually forgot how much I love drawing Hetalia characters!

1. Navi as a human/korkiri?

Well, I had an ask similar to this but it appears I have accidentally deleted it?? My apologies to whoever it was who sent it. I believe it was something along the lines of Navi as a human or fairy? I’m not much of a fairy drawer, but I was able to sketch this up. ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

Would be awesome to see interaction art between Link from Ocarina of Time with his companion Navi. He journeyed through thick and thin with his little friend. Maybe some wholesome sketches of them together?

Example: Link shielding Navi from the rain with his shield. Navi helping Link read from a book in the dark with her light. Etc By the way, your art is very inspiring. :)

I saw you were asking for art requests in the LoZ community.

I wanna see how you draw Ezlo (I was the one who put the pictures of what I drew and had no idea the name of the silly hat thing until people started commenting Ezlo). Maybe add Link, too?? Idk,. Up to you if you wanna add Link, I can't draw people well so I just stuck to the hat.

I don’t draw Ezlo quite as much as I would like, so this was a nice opportunity. Technically, Ezlo isn’t a hat. He’s actually a Picori. I like to draw him occasionally as both a hat and a Picori.

Hi, I saw your post on the Zelda community! What about a short little comic about a Picori clothing store, and Vaati trying on outfits? I'm picturing cute little outfits based on different types of flowers or leaves! Not sure if you can make a comic out of it, but maybe it could at least inspire a single drawing?

Well…. I tried.

After much carful procrastination contemplation, I decided on sketching up this short, silent comic (because I’m too lazy to write up dialogue).

I know there isn’t much here in regard to outfits based on flowers and leaves (mostly because I love the town/village picori outfits better) but, it was definitely a fun little project to work on!

On top of that, I also really wanted to sketch up some other outfits for Vaati to try on in general.
