The fallen humans
Often we hear the echo of our security culture tell us policing is an inherently dangerous job, and that therefore we should give deference to these people’s judgment whenever potentially hostile situations arise. In such scenarios whereby the killing of a civilian occurs, we are perpetually told the use of lethal force was not only necessary, but simply part of an ‘incredibly dangerous’ profession — that these killings merely are a result of cops protecting themselves in life-threatening situations.
Well I call bullshit.
On October 22 last year, Andy Lopez, a Mexican-American 13 year old boy, was shot seven times by Santa Rosa officer Erick Gelhaus, a man with a history of using excessive force in his duties. Lopez was walking home from a friend’s house holding an airsoft toy-gun designed to resemble an assault rifle. Gelhaus has claimed he thought the child was holding an AK-47, a detail suggesting he could see the toy-gun with clarity. Gelhaus says he shouted to the 13 year old to drop the ‘gun’. Andy turned around, allegedly holding the toy up. Lopez died thereafter, taking multiple gunshots — one of which through his chest — when Gelhaus opened fire.
Gelhaus did not wait for backup. He did not investigate what he thought he saw. He was in absolutely no danger. His judgement smacked of shoot now, think later. In fact, Andy Lopez, like the rest of us, was more in need of protection from Gelhaus the moment the deputy saw him than Gelhaus needed to ‘protect’ himself from Lopez.
Cops Are More Likely To Shoot You Than You Are To Shoot Them
Last November the Activist Post ran a story about the propensity of police officers killing civilians. Stated was the following:
"Since 9/11, and the subsequent militarization of the police by the Department of Homeland Security, about 5,000 Americans have been killed by US police officers. The civilian death rate is nearly equal to the number of US soldiers killed in Iraq. In fact, you are 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than by a terrorist.”
That statistic is alarming enough considering if the 4,489 American soldiers killed in combat in Iraq constitute a condition of war, then the killing of 5,000 American civilians by United States police departments ought to be viewed as a war on we the People by our very own government.
Still, having watched the Lopez family struggle for justice thus far, I wanted to know better how more civilians have been killed by cops in the United States than soldiers have died in Iraq.
I decided to compare the number of American citizens’ deaths by police directly to the number of police officers’ deaths by citizens since the start of the Iraq war; after all, if an officers job is so dangerous, it is we the policed who make it dangerous.
Since 2003, as documented by the FBI, there have been approximately 587 deaths in the line of duty directly as result of civilians’ felonious actions, i.e., lethal assault, shooting, manslaughter etc. Below is the breakdown by year.

The Myth of the Most Dangerous Job
After a minute of simple math (5,000/587 = 8.52), what might seem obvious became much clearer: A cop is far more likely — 8.5 times — to kill you than you are to kill a cop. Stated another way, when an officer comes into contact with you, you are far less of a threat to them than the perception our culture proliferates. The police are, in fact, more of a threat to YOU.
The idea that police have an incredibly dangerous job is what we Southerners call a tall-tale, a stretch of the truth to bolster an ego unwilling to accept mediocrity. Not to take away from what many fair-minded officers do every day, but as those stubborn things called facts would have it, policing is less dangerous than farming, fishing, logging, and trash collecting, as well as six other professions.
Now is the time to burst the cop myth and to stop giving them the deference to murder our friends and family in the street.

J'aimerais écrire et que mon travail soit (re)connu, mais apparemment, l'affirmation de soi (être reconnu.e pour son travail) entre en conflit avec le dépassement de soi (la bienveillance, prendre soin de ses amies, etc). Alors bon...
Je vais voir ce que je peux faire en faisant un peu d'affirmation de moi le jeudi, et un peu de dépassement de soi le dimanche. Et on verra ce que ça donne.

I have a deck that i shuffle as a stim and occasionally try to channel from, and lately ive been getting the same (absurd amount of) cards over and over even when just absently shuffling. Im so bad at interpreting meanings, ive tried googling it and i just cannot understand. Any input would be apreciated!!
Of the major arcana, in order of frequency, i keep getting: wheel of fortune, death, heirophant, magician, justice, empress, and high preistess
Of the minor arcana, in order of frequency, i keep getting: ace of cups, swords, and pentacles, knight of cups, swords, and pentacles, page of cups, and seven of cups
That seems like far too many for a message, but each have jumped out at least three times and some every single time i pull out the deck! Is it something stupidly simple, like those cards are ever so slightly bent or something? It feels so ominous, like this thing is speaking to me loudly and frantically in a language im not fluent in.
I feel like the amount of repitition (aces, knights, cups) is important but i dont know what it means. Same with the major arcana, it feels like its speaking in all caps but i cannot read it.

TLDR Isreal has cut off all water, electricity and telecommunications within Gaza in a complete blackout and Gaza has lost their voice. Israel has already threatened to bomb Al Shifa hospital, which is currently a shelter for around 50k-60k Palestinians. These are images of Gaza Strip from an HOUR AGO. They are literally slaughtering and wiping out generations of Palestinians as we speak.

Sonya Massey
I’m going to be discussing the Sonya Massey Situation. If you didn’t know Sonya was a 36 year old mother of two who called 911 on the night of July 6th because she believed there was an intruder outside her home. When 2 officers police arrived Sonya let them in where she was near her stove boiling a pot of water. One of the officers told Sonya to back “away from your hot, steaming water,” to which she replied “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.” and he then continued by saying “You better fucking not, or I swear to God, I’ll fucking shoot you in the fucking face,” BECAUSE OF A POT OF BOILING WATER. She then says “I’m sorry” while lifting the pot he then proceeds to shoot her in the head one of those was according to him a “head shot”. He then continues to tell officers arriving at the scene she came at him with boiling water. Which if you want to watch the video I believe it’s on YouTube but WARNING ⚠️ you can see her being k!ll*d in the video and watch at your own risk. I couldn’t stomach it so I didn’t watch it. And once the officer (whose name is Grayson I think it’s his last name not sure) says “ This fucking bitch is crazy” after you killed her for no reason she’s the crazy one. Anyone who says this wasn’t about race is wrong and it’s so disrespectful and disgusting how he spoke about her and did to her. We need justice immediately. It’s honestly so gross that racist cops are still around. People with that racist narrative need there badges redacted. The officer who sat there and did nothing as well is just as responsible and needs to be held accountable as well. We need JUSTICE FOR SONYA🪦🕊️

To be honest, I would've fallen for this trap too, in spite of being a grown up, if you all didn't expose her...thank the heavens for that. The world is becoming scarier and scarier by the second and I pray God keeps me and all who are likely to fall for these scams, safe...please be careful people...It is always preferable to have the benefit of the doubt with any online account because we may never know who is actually behind that screen and what are their real intentions.

Ever since I was a child, Spiritual scammers have always scared me so much...why? because people can literally ruin their lives, listening to someone who doesn't even know what they are interpreting about a chart...These people ask for SO SO much money for just a few pointers, some advice and remedies and it is just not right. I have literally grown up seeing my parents get scammed like this, that too in person...it wasn't even an online scam...such a shame...my mom didn't think it was a scam but I knew damn well, you could literally see the greed in their eyes.
I feel so damn sick and disappointed seeing how so many scammers are only choosing such ancient methods and God's gifts to scam people all over the world. These are the people who are ruining the image of such divine practices and genuine spiritual guides...

This is simply disgusting behaviour. Lying about injuries, illnesses, symptoms so that people could buy her readings or donate out of sympathy (and she KNOWS people on Tumblr are more susceptible to this, they will donate to the right cause). She always does this, she invents a fake sob story and then she says she's not asking for donations or that she's too ashamed to do so, yet asks people to help her without any proof whatsoever (because there is obviously no proof).
It’s funny how @vamptarot always claims she doesn't share links publicly because she "feels uncomfortable," yet the only thing that’s uncomfortable here is her blatant scam. If you don’t want to be caught scamming, then maybe don’t request money through DMs, where you can hide behind the anonymity of your naive followers' trust. And let’s not forget how she always magically “needs” large sums of money (1200 pounds last time) where healthcare is FREE. Especially emergency healthcare that she claims to be in need of. Do you really think people will buy the sob story about needing 1200 pounds for "treatment" that’s apparently so urgent it can’t wait for any sort of proof? If it was so dire, why are you pulling random numbers out of thin air to manipulate followers? It doesn’t add up. You know why? Because it’s all an act. You can see this from her blog's activity too, she comes back only when she needs money from her unfortunately very young and gullible followers. And she makes numbers only when she comes up with fake stories and illnesses, how interesting. Maybe it's because she's willingly manipulating young impressionable users to donate to a fake cause? These aren’t just "unfortunate circumstances", this is a pattern. It is a known scam tactic that's been around years and years before smarty pants could do it on Tumblr.
She's done this before, and she's trying to do it again. She knows that many people on Tumblr are empathetic, and she'll exploit that kindness for her own gain. Don’t fall for it. Trust your gut and stay far away from anyone who tries to manipulate you with extreme emotional circumstances like this.
ALSO, she deleted her latest scam post because she finally got exposed by my account but I will share screenshots that a very kind individual has sent me about their interaction with this disgusting scammer. The individual's name is censored as per their request. RESPECT THEIR PRIVACY.
In her latest post our beloved scammer @vamptarot tried to claim a mysterious illness with fainting symptoms that would make her "slip in and out of consciousness". Extremely vague, perfect for naive Tumblr users (who are mostly minors by the way, just mentioning that). She also claimed that she needed URGENTLY 3400 pounds in the next 10 hours (a very famous scam tactic) or that she might "die".
Then she suddenly claimed that she needed ONLY 450 pounds, 10 hours after she made that post. Interesting. I DO NOT have the original post's screenshot but we have @spiritstalking ask to rely upon:
Nice try sweetheart. Unfortunately some users fell for this. It is extremely depressing to see young kids fall for those scams, because they do not know better.
As you can see, she also claimed that she needed donations in less than ten hours or it might be "too late" for her. Poor soul. Again, emergency healthcare such as in this case (slipping in and out of consciousness🤣🤣🤣) is free. Yet another emotional manipulation tactic. As I said, it's disgusting.
Also, she claimed that she was on the verge of dying, being extremely ill but she also had time to think about PACS? AND INTERACT ON TUMBLR TOO? She tried to make it all seem so real that she even stayed online 24/7 to talk to the users she scammed.
And wow, now she’s acting all innocent, saying that people gossiping about her is "inhumane." Sweetie, we’re not gossiping, we’re exposing a scam you decided to do.
If you’re really that innocent, why do you keep changing the narrative? You’ve been caught making excuses and pulling out random sob stories for cash, guess that’s just the reality of running a fake blog.

But guess what? She’s ALWAYS there to reply to her donors within minutes. truly the epitome of someone “dying” from their condition. 🧐
Oh, and then the classic scam move: telling the user to send money to her “friend’s” PayPal... except her “friend” has the exact same name as her. What a coincidence! 🥴 That’s not even a red flag, it’s a burning tower. For real, how dumb does she think people are? A friend’s PayPal? More like her PayPal, dressed up in a bad disguise.
Let’s not forget the emotional manipulation here. She messed up, said it was her PayPal, and when caught, instantly tried to backpedal with the excuse of having “brain fog” because of anxiety and pain. But apparently, that anxiety and pain don’t stop her from begging for donations? Come on. If you’re so “stricken” with these issues, how are you managing to twist your words so perfectly to squeeze money out of people? INTERESTING.
And then, to top it off, offering to give out her friends' bank details for even more donations? Classic scam. Get as many ways as possible to extract money from people’s wallets. But here's the kicker: she can’t even access the money the user sent for the next three days? THIS IS A HUGE ORGANIZED SCAM.
This whole situation is a mess, and honestly, it’s getting tiresome. Be careful who you trust, because this is as shady as it gets.
Also, @vamptarot tell everyone how you were planning to delete your disgusting scamming post from the start because you didn't want to "STAIN" your account. You knew what you were doing from the start. You knew you were scamming people and that somebody would eventually catch on.
You are a reprehensible human being and I strongly suggest you to refund the money you stole from users. Can we just talk about how conveniently her post was deleted once people started catching on? A classic move when you know you've been called out for your scam. If everything was so “legit,” why is the post suddenly gone? Again you knew what you were doing and you know you're wrong as hell for this.
