Imagine Aventurine with like a lil tummy, like, I hc that he's like underweight and his body kinda got used to not eating for a long time (due to his past), so he only eats when he's hungry but that's rare
But when he got with Ratio, he's all about being healthy and wanted to get Aventurine to a more healthier weight and felt like he'd feel better if he ate more
Aventurine wasn't rlly a fan of the plan but went with it to make Ratio happy, he started by just eating smaller meals since he felt sick and bloaded if he ate more
Ofc it didn't help that ratio was like a 5 star chef, he literally can make anything taste good.
Slowly he started eating more and got to looking healthier too, he also got a lil bit of a tummy, Ratio secretly loves it.
He loves seeing him healthy and well and happy, he also loves hugging him close and using his stomach as a pillow while aven plays with his hair
Annd here he is! I’ve been calling him my “showtime aventurine” in my head. The outfit is a combination of his normal outfit and boss outfit. It has a very harlequin feel, i think. The pose is inspired by one of lyney’s attacks in genshin since he’s one of my mains.
Gave aven a lil pudge because I think he deserves it. He deserves to be comfy and cared for.
Eventually i plan to post a second version of this with a different color scheme

this is getting kinda long here's a keep reading line
saw a japanese fan tweeted about how the legendary concert promotion clip of aventurine is odd in the way that the curtains are open before he woke up, there's newspaper in the room even though aventurine clearly checks the news with his tablet, and the reason for that is because there was another person who occupied the room, who wakes up early, cares for aventurine's health, and favours physical newspaper rather than digital ones.
they ended the tweet with something along the line of "it's probably because someone else is there, right? makes sense to me" and i have never been so tempted to quote retweet a japanese tweet with a 'so true bestie' in my life

but instead of "soulmate" it says the name of the person who's going to kill you / you're going to die for, but that name can also mean the person who's going to spend the last seconds of your life with you. meeting them before death is avoidable, but death cannot be avoided.
imagine: it's the first time you meet a dirty teenager who killed his owner, who resembles a wild animal that needs to be cleaned up properly, like a small animal trapped in a trap — but this is the one whose name is on your arm, and you know for sure that it's him.
(bonus points: your name is written on his hand, but AVENTURINE doesn't know because you use a pseudonym instead of your real name.)
So I started playing Honkai star rail. This was my journey perfectly summed up.

I honestly gave up at the end, I got tired of drawing this thing ;; But I finished in time for Aventurine, so good luck to everyone who's pulling for him! (I have a guarantee and then savings for Boothill mwehehe)
I'm surprised that I managed to turn an in-game joke into a very OOC Ratio comic (idk if hes OOC u tell me I cannot comprehend anything anymore)
