question what was atsushi's past like in the flower shop/tattoo au?

I know he has scars and stuff but is their anything different?

I wanted to keep some elements of the original series in this au, so Atsushi's backstory is somewhat similar to the original

He still has trauma from the orphanage, albeit the things he was subjected to are not as overly extreme as the original cuz there are no abilities in this au

The major difference in this is that once he was able to get by with a few part time jobs at 18, he left the orphanage to live on his own in Yokohama. He had been kicked out of a former apartment from being unable to catch up with rent so Atsushi was at his lowest at the time

The day after his eviction, he was discovered by Dazai while he was sketching in the park by pure luck and offered to let him join the Armed Design Agency tattoo parlour as an apprentice because Dazai noticed Atsushi's potential

He began to appreciate the art of tattoos when Dazai gave him that scar cover up to help him get behind his past and wanted to do the same and help others who have their own scars
