The Contell emblem is meant to resemble Polaris' shield. It everywhere at the academy. In the halls, in the committee room, and even the shield itself is displayed to honor the late sorcerer. He has to be reminded of Polaris every single day, and everywhere he goes in the academy. The only place he can remove it from is where it sits over his heart on his uniform. RIP bro sounds like a skill issue
