Do you have to let it linger?

Do You Have To Let It Linger?

New blank slate, new Tumblr account and my first serious one since Ballpointer, a sorry attempt that never made it past the first three posts. I remember taking a shower this morning. I think so at least. I feel these days life can be someehat transcendant and feel translucent or fluid. Going thrpugh the motions of rhe day at a sliow pace means being trapped in isolation for me at the moment, since I lost sight of my friends, had to give up working in media and develped an expertise in slouching and being lazy on the couch or messing about. I mad this piece recently. I guess you could call this an outer body experience or a body that is falling apart with brains that aparently zap betwen my head and the clouds if pixels hanging in the air above it It's not that I list my memory and my organs are most of the time intact, even with other people or the smallest division of their likeness is swiming around in its vessels, with ir without them being aware of it. The human consciousness can only function with most of the persons head being whole and fully recognisable. I don't kniw why there are swarms in my body sometimes and I can only hope they are doing good. It is a bit rude to say the least to enter another gu's body, but I have made it a part of my system that is more lie a fluid blend of ingredients sonetimes. I am not ready for a transplantation of my organs yet,in either direction, except for spem, if opportunity arises. The food had tasted of trash all wek and it made me feel weakened. Where are the floating presences in and around my body coming from and whom are they going to. I'd like to remain in one piece. Wholesome. And #live life with all of my body parts intact and in one place.

PLANETARY 08 and other artworks by Leon Mussche LEONISCAREFUL

PLANETARY 08 And Other Artworks By Leon Mussche LEONISCAREFUL

artworks by LEONISCAREFUL, a think tank with a base in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Here rapid innovations and changes in society due to new life and data journalism a d health care are continuously discussen, we use the medium of hand made drawings to communicatie a message that has no words for it yet, since the phenomena are from the future.

50 X 60 cm. Pastels and graphite cardboard. Unique and hand made art work by LEONISCAREFUL, SIgned and dated on the back in Amsterdam.

This work came about making sketches of a multitude of people, placed and situations. I realised that this random image that is the final result of it is either influenced by the media and the things I see and experience in real life. Then, I also thought this proces probably works the other way round as well. Creating imavinary places and faces if different dimensions living inside the same slace that is defined by automation or quantum computing, in some of these areas, people in thess dimension can not even see each other, the posthumane entity can be a force or source of energy now, has changed so much in behaviour, patterns and basic human rights, living in freedom or in phone cellls, or being a shadow or swarm of micro particles. This varied not really per country per sé. It is depending on the community these people are part of, and only in part, because action and reaction, in my experience, are forever gone as a valuable source of science. There's no rhyme or reason, we must often conclude. The title of this work was inspired by the Beastie Boys song 'Intergalactic.'

Follow your consciousness, on a night time trip to Westerpark in Amsterdam

An impresion of the mood and experience of a night time SAT visit to Westerpark Amsterdam & GOS area in the west part of the city by LEONISCAREFUL illustrator Leon Mussche.

This drawing was made after a visit to Westerpark in Amsterdam. I made some sketches there at night and translated these into a pastel and pencil drawing the next morning. This is the older part of the park, that has a large pond or a small lake with an island in the middle and a large open field with trees and plant areas that in some cases have remains of human presence, like wall branches or nests made in trees and bushy areas. The park used to be known for being a gay cruising area, these days there is a small chance of making a friend, regardless of sex. The topic is not advised to use loosely in the case of making an adventurous exploration to this park, so thread these paths with care, find a bench of your choice or a patch of grass, and see if someone is nearby on Tinder or Grindr first, if you are lucky enough to have these applications still working for you.

In this drawing I tried to convey the special atmosphere in the landscape and in the air, the architecture around the park and in this old gas factory area's buildings, industrial heritage from the past; or around the hotel licated in the main building standing in the middle of the park. Airbrush is maybe the best way to describe this setting and with sfumati pastel chalk layes and impressionist techniques I have tried to visualise the mood of land, field, water and sky becoming a sort of blended space that offers new visions beyond the already known. Rhere are different dimensions visible here during some nights and these invite the viewer to take a hike and go further, walk or cycle or move in any of the directions that looks most alluring or approach the lonely stranger that acts the most seductive, even a good old trao can be persuaded, if you're lucky. The Westerpark and Westergasfabriek terrain can get somewhat spooky at night, but seeing the sun rise in the earliest hours of the morning again, and watch the park come alive again, with whatever its cast has in shore for the day, is worth a visit alone. Remember ro bring a hat, for it can get painfully cold here at nighr.

SEMIT, new work by LEONISCAREFUL

SEMIT, New Work By LEONISCAREFUL

SEMIT

63 x 48 cm., chalk, pencil and pastel0s on thick cardboard surface

This world is slowly but surely becoming holistic and moderate in terns of religious views. Partly, this is due to globalisation and influences of a democratised IT media system that aims to unite rather than divide and revolutions in emancipation that took place outside of the Western world.

Orthodox traditions in Judaism as well as Islam have brought us more than radicalisisation and extremism. Identity,

a life devoted to scholarly growth, feasting and fasting, discipline, wisdom, prayer and traditions such as the shabath are subjects we should all but erase. And the final word is not written about circumcision and race versus belief.

Conputer says NO

After one year of working on a website that had some very clear goals and plans before carefully trying it out with a free host provider and a sinple back end template without a payment function. Now I am hearing the people that sell the website, in this case Wix, a prominent provider in the creative field. I found that as shocking and unbeluevably unacceptable as all the other things I hear people say, not because she clearly did not want petsonal websites anymore with portfolio's of the petson that spends many decades in living, but mostly because it was not so long ago that the internet was an open source free mefiun accessible for everyone and one that causef countried and continents and religious views that had always meant that states were closed, and so were their cultures, with the 3xception of those cosmopolitan cities in the Western world, acting as if the center of it. The revolution digitalisation had caused people to learn from other countries and ultimately caused massive migration that was hard to control. Not in the least place the past decadz has seen the rise of new life and the hidden space and these new concepts should have shaken up the world, as it did in demonstrations in sone cities of the world, but truth was also there was no hunger, no war and for too long a tine, no soccer, because all these new innovations and richer experiences are the main topic that we try to open up,, along with newfound freedom because it could cause a drag or boaredom due to the malfunctioning of automaton and automated responses. These are so far remived fron what could be consider as nornzl or tolerable behaviour , in a way that ethics come into play, anf if all these ingredients blend well togethzr? We'll have to see.

Against all fornulas

These themes were some of the many that were on our desk when we staryed with the plan for Leoniscarzful. Leon himself had ten years of experience in media and press as an illustrator for consumer magazines, newpapets and governmental publications in the Netherlands as well as seni-governmental print nedia in the United Kingdom and the United States. With a clean slate and a fresh start, during a tunultuous tine in which Leon started to experience the paranornal or the visual, the netaphysical for sure and the spiritual as well. These themes started to dominate my world and especially death was always there. As well as the subject of death, which was always there, not because I had experienced much of it. Unfortunately I had somehow became, deliberate or not, the victin of a franing case that was so bizarre and absurd, a genocide of entire citirs and populations that no man or woman could ecer achieve to do.Yet, I had been the centre of focus since the netaphysical and UI with my phone and computer and its apps and software that appeared to be following me as if by magic or biomeyry or, well, something in the air tonight. Too much had happened in this decade that has shaken the very fubdaments of our bei.g, our autonomy, our relations and lifestyles, the excesses needed a lot of explaining to be abke to understand the other one's position but the opening of markzys, the Facebook revolution and the transcendant and hybrid human being, a petson of temporal existence or one without the privileges and features the new Uber elite was so prone of, until this new generation had becone the najor problen of a fornerly cohesive society itself. Mainly: By not saying a word, and somehow those I was always surrounded by but it could be that your lufe is completely different. Because we do not see each other the whole day every day, do we? No, that would be hell.

What we hope to achieve

First of all, and most important is, being able to spend money, and spend it wisely as well. For money should be spent in a manner that is harmonious and positive at all times because the subject can be a sensitive one. We have all witnessed the repatriation of Jewish Nazi victims and how much money and objects of value were looted and exploited as soon as was possible, eveb just after the tragedy that was rhe holocaust. Yes, quite clearly the wrong ones were killed. But then all I have seen were the novies and the inages and qhort films and one concentration camp. We do follow today's discourse on overpopulation and climate change caused by overproduction but we also believe that with technical abilities humans and animals can be kept alive, even if some have been reduced to a dor or resirt to living in a different dimension, one they can apoarently get out of again. Leoniscareful has been carefully following today's censorship, repression, suppression and mind and thought programming and controlling that could easily make the silence ansurrounding all of this 'Jes,' as much as all the lies circulating for opportunistic reasons a rewardable feat, since the 'new school' teaches us to play and that goes fine for everything except for in the nedical field and in science where we need sure fire quantitative and quantitative results.

As for our PLAN to roll out LEONISCAREFUL as a start up:

• Stage 1: Registration of the platforn domain name, back end and web shop systenm by purchqsing an upgrade collaboration at Wix, Coroflot or connection made module.

By the end of the coming week the website should be online under a .space domain.

• Stage 2: Redefine content and photograph or scan the visuals, that were nerely made as a 'token' the idea of a uniaue hand made visual being a stake, or as in coded language occors, an opinion or conviction. A guesstimate.

• since there may have been a modest revenue from services and/or artworks on offer in the webshop, a VAT registration will be made with the Chambre of Commerce.

• Find partners or build a network, at first comprised of those who have bought a stake or visual in a lobby or conviction. Goal is to hold one presentation and exhibition by the end of quarter 2. Due to promotion and modest campaigns the Services offered in the LEONISCAREFUL APP, Now available throughthe Wix Spaces app.

• Study, learn, have new multidimensional experiences and continue progress made in the creative development and find affiliates, such as banks, shareholders or (post)national non governmental organisations (NGO').

Introducing popknowsbest: Culture Club - Karma Chameleon (Official Music Video)

As long as there is a fan club, about Boy George and British pop

I decided to express the pop paradigm here, by sharing some of the songs I grew up with, in a culture and setting that for me was and always has been oriented to Great Britain and English culture in general, with BBC and Super Channel being my daily compass. (Who remembers 'On the air?' a radio programme basically broadcasted on television). The Brirish charts were a kind of religion to me and listening to the radio 1 chart show on Sunday afternoons had become a kind of ritual for me, along with watching 'Top of the pops' on Thursday nights. Always with that one goal in mind, of ever making it to London, and finally be able to indulge myself in that culrure, that for me, was something evenbigger or more accessible than American popular culture. I spend most of my youth being closeted with bisexual and gay thoughts that would remain closeted until at a lame stage in life already, but that does not destroy my own inner personal and private persona, in which I indulged into the music of the Pet Shop Boys, Boy George, George Michael, Kylie Minogue and other acts that were somehow different and alternative to my own culture. 'Nervously'was grand, just after my first single, a 7", 'Better the Devi you knowl' had caused a love for everything UK that I followed with dedication from that moment on. Karna Chameleon by the Culrure Club and Boy George expresses more than any other song maybe, how we can be one person here and the next person there, all the while trying to keep it real, and be myself. Mostly the melody remains in your head and in your heart after a first listen. In magazines like Smash Hits and Number One I followed these stars that were more often than not one hit wonders but always stayed so quintessentially British. Boy Geirge I related to, as much as Freddy Mercury and George Michael, maybe especially because, much like the Sex Pistols, they represented a culture that showed an alternative and open mind to the somewhat narrow minded views of some mwmbers of my family and in my town. An Anglo Saxon escapism, so to say, with idols that would turn out to be an inspuration and guidance in decades to follow. Boy George I finaly met or saw face to face with during a concert around '13 in Tilburg abd after reading and hearing all about his phases of Buddhism, his sex scandals and his recently developed raw vegan cure for everything, I was more than curious to finally see him in concert and hear what he had to say, sing actualy. Because I think idols and stars are so very much needed for inspiration and guidance in life. And the older the wiser. Whatever is in store for that, for our children's generation and the generations after that, having to deal with blended and temporary personalities rather than a fan club.

Coming and going, again and again

Eufkaristo is a unique hand made art work by LEONISCAREFUL ilustrator artist and media critic Leon Mussche

Sometimes, a 'thank you' is all that is required when spending the night with a handsome stranger. Eufkaristo is a recent piece made by Amsterdam artust, illustrator and medium Leon Mussche. In his Art Shop, a new initiative by the international thinj tank colaborative and hand made tactile art exhibition space LEONISCAREFUL, this art work is now for sale at a symbolic price.

The past decade has shown an increase on divwrsir in life styles, subcultures, recreation and employment. In Amsterdam, the Netherlands, an apocaltptical setting and darkj clouds were the backdrop for a new life vision crisis, that created an exodus of migration, reincarnation and transitions caused by IT, logistics and automation in employment that caused visible changes in the urban landscape, Dutch illustrator Leon Mussche noted, and visualised this chatic and playful situation caused by migration and flexibility in the work field.

ABOUT BRO'S AND HO'S

Series of 24 ballpoint sketches. Interpretations made while watching random content on the internet. Bic Ballpoint and pastels on notepad paper 11,5 x 19,5 cm. Signed by Leon, fpu de of LEONISCAREFUL

New life is here and it is here to stay. With old world sensitivities and new world logic, gay culture has become a thing of the past while straight couples and the gender-fluid trans crowd are more than ever opening up to polygamy and play with friends or admire the beauty of a dirty hunk next door. These drawings are based on random internet content. These look rather primitive and are almost uncomfortable to watch. Almost like porn. There is nothing on TV and the internet sucks. What else are you gonna do? I just don't think there should be any pressure. Jas indeed!'
