I love the posts that are like "Well this is very clearly the canon but y'all are So Desperate to ignore canon and warp it to whatever fantasy you have for these characters." Like yeah. That's what fandom is. That's what most fan-fiction is built around. The DC fandom specifically is basically built on picking and choosing which comics you personally feel in your heart are canon. That's the fun of it. "Y'all love to ignore some things just to make your character dynamics work." Yes. Yeah that's the point. Correct.

i want it to be put on record that when i posted this to tiktok, i did not think it would blow up, nor did i ever imagine that the ship name would be "billfiddlesford"

i made these comics as a joke with myself about "what if fidds just got tired of bill's nonsense and teased him 24/7 bc Bill's a menace but Fiddleford grew up on a farm" type of thing, which has now spiraled.

also bc consider; I want Fiddleford to have a win? i want him to be happy and healthy and also in a polyamorous gay marriage with his college friend and his muse, nothing too dramatic

A Bill wins scenario where Bill is keeping Ford. Ford is unaware that his family is still alive (in their own little bubbles naturally) , Bill interested in keeping as pawns to get what he wants from Ford.

When he eventually reveals this news to Ford, Ford of course wants to see them. Bill wants to make a deal.

Bill offers a visit session with his family if Ford gives him one small thing that he won't miss Bill is sure.

His hand.

Ford assumes of course Bill means his literal hand. It seems like Bill's sense of humor as far as Ford knows. So he agrees to he deal.

Thing is, Bill did not mean his literal hand. More like hand in a meld of a human and a creature like Bill, marriage.

Okay so we all saw baby Bill, right?

Cute adorable and all that

But someone else noted that the color of baby bill arms doesn't match with normal bill arms

I saw someone theorize that his arms turned black because of the fire he makes when making deals

BUT my personal favorite theory is that he's wearing thigh-high boots and long black gloves

I rest my case and I will die in this hill

I might do a human bill just to put him on thigh high boots and black gloves, who knows

personal mouthwashing headcanon. I think it takes place in a world where people evolved faster, so the events of it are like in the 1997-2002 timeline. idk I haven’t decided yet
