It’s a strange one but someone requested this on my Insta
Also guys… uh Eli isn’t “the middle letters of Stiles backwards” that’s so obscure, his grandfathers name is literally Elias. Elias, the one who went by “Stiles” first. Eli and Stiles both have the sherif’s father’s name
Sheriff Stilinski said Derek had complicated feelings about the Jeep. That he took it and kept working on it, put it back together piece by piece... why!? Jeff Davis you absolute shit. Give us Eli with no explanation, no mother, a weird fixation with the Jeep that his father ALSO had a weird fixation with (and complicate feelings about!?), a total Grandpa vibe from Noah... and he didn't want us saying he is Stiles's kid!? Really???
Obsessed with how Allison and Scott jump right back into a relationship and COPARENTING A CHILD as if they haven't been apart since they were like 16 and as if Allison herself isn't mentally STILL 16.
Like Scott has had DOUBLE her total life experience. He's graduated from high school, left home, experienced adulthood, had at least two other relationships, and gone through unspeakable traumas including being relentlessly hunted (though I guess they resolved that offscreen?) since she died.
She didn't even get to her senior year! She's missed a LOT. She's just not experienced a LOT. She's basically who she was at 16 and he's THIRTY-TWO (or thereabouts) will all the change and life experience that implies. He's settled! He's ready to have kids!
Their relationship is gonna be so so so messy.
Broke: Acknowledging that a character who is an objectively terrible person is also a complex and intentionally well thought out individual with different levels of nuance you can empathize with in some ways while not in others is immediately “woobifying” or “poor little meow meowifying” them.
Woke: “This character is a bad person” and “this character is still a person” are two statements that can, should and do coexist and admitting that they exhibit nuance and depth and are more than just their bad actions doesn’t immediately excuse or condone their bad actions or mean that you’re ignoring or trying to soften the canonical version of the character.
Bespoke: That’s the whole point, that’s always been the point, to be made to empathize with horrible people so you can understand that they can be anyone, that bad people can be likeable, can be interesting, can be human, are human, and it’s scary to think about all the ways they’re just like you and all the ways they’re just like everything you hate, forcing the use of critical skills in media analysis, forcing a confrontation of the duality of man.
Whatever Level is Above Bespoke: But sometimes, yeah, sure, maybe they are a poor little meow meow, what are you gonna do, get a lawyer
cam telling demi to fuck off when she tried kissing him after he Rightfully aired her out was the most cathartic thing i’ve seen in media in so long
his legal name being 'and ken' is so genius he's literally just barbie's accessory this movie is for real men
The whole movie Sheriff was acting like such a step-grandpa to Eli. I knew ahead of time Derek died so I thought they were setting up Sheriff taking in Eli. But then they have Scott and Allison be the ones to take him in and it makes no sense! But that's Teen Wolf for you. We'll just fix it in fic.
wow just realised while thinking ab theo being able to sense liam's ied being triggered by his heartbeat, breathing and chemosignals and knowing to anchor him with a touch or a quiet murmur and i realised he is literally liam's support dog. someone get him a vest pls-
i’m not gonna lie liam somehow acquiring the nogitsune jar thing that isaac literally took with him when he moved to france and deciding to keep it on a spice shelf in his ramen shop of all places is a hilarious way to open your movie
