Bit of context on pronoun situation-
Hi! You might have seen that my pinned post keeps changing bc of pronouns and/or gender/sexuality! I’ve been having some slight gender crisis’ recently and have been questioning my gender. I have (finally) figured out that I am 100% nonbinary! If my pinned post gets edited, it’s because I find pronouns that I don’t mind being used to describe me! Anyways, another thing I need to talk about is this:

Now, one of my accounts is named transjay.
“But Zen, you just said you were nonbinary!”
Yes. Nonbinary people like me can use the trans label if they want to/would feel more comfortable to. I tend to use it because it best describes my gender, transitioning to nb! I felt like I should clear that up! And, no I won’t be changing that name anytime soon.

WHEN IS THE PROTEST?
The protest starts by logging off on August 6th, 2021 at 12am Eastern Time (US). Here’s a quick chart to help figure out when you log out. So that means if you log off at say, 6 am Central Europe Time you’ll log back in at 6 am Central Europe Time on August 7th. We’d prefer if if there is no posting, no queues, no likes, and no reblogs during this period.

WHY IS POST PLUS/POST+ SO BAD?
Tumblr’s primary focus is on FAN content (whether any of us want to admit it or not). Putting these kinds of contents behind patreon like paywalls is a terrible idea and the legality is NOT in the user or their subscribers favor. You can absolutely get in legal trouble for what tumblr is proposing with this new feature. There’s also the worry about the site’s (poor) security and access to Post Plus users bank information. Do you really want a site that lacks a functioning search function and whose userbase routinely get hacked to have your credit card information? No, you really don’t.
WILL THIS WORK?
Maybe, maybe not. It’s an attempt at doing something to combat tumblr’s impending self-inflicted demise.

Wearing a pirate costume annoyed him, but he had to do it. For Jay. He was surprised his ghostly appearance hadn’t already gave him and the others away. But with the help of his ghost powers, he managed to steal a key and sneak away.

My ghostly glow covered the walls as I cautiously entered the quarters. As I was walking, I heard a creek, sending shivers throughout my body. I quickly jolted around, hoping to catch the person off guard. But there was no one. I slowly turned around thinking I could catch whoever was watching me. Again, no one.
I got tired of turning back and forth pretty quick so I simply just walked away. I walked over to the table with some weird potion on top of it. I had taken the top off of it when I heard a familiar yet weak voice.
“Cole? Is that you?”
“Jay! You’re okay!” I ran over to Jay. Once I got closer, I realised that he had an eyepatch over his eye.
“What happened to your eye?”
“I- Why are you dressed like a pirate?”
“Don’t worry about that,” I smiled at him. “Our friends are nearby. We’re gonna get you out of here.”
“Boy am I glad to see you,” his voice filled with relief as I released him from the chains around his ankle. “Cole, I’m sorry about keeping stuff from you. I should’ve told you that I-“
“And I should’ve been a better friend. Don’t worry,” I put my hand on his shoulder. “Save your strength. We can laugh about this when it’s all behind us.”
