with this one i starting looking for birds pretty much solely based off color,, but i actually think a parrot works really well for a rakugo performer

The alters use their wings differently ayyy

Uendo: When grounded: he keeps them folded for the most part. When flying: regular paced flapping and glides regularly. Well suited for long distances. He has no preference toward flying or staying grounded.

Patches: When grounded: flaps in an almost constant fluttering motion. When flying: almost hummingbird like, doesn’t fly long distances well. He loves to fly.

Kisegawa: When grounded: Spread more than uendo, and moves between positions quickly, but once in a pose/position, they stay firm. When flying: similar to Uendo, but flaps more often. Landings and takeoffs are quicker. She prefers to remain on the ground.

Owen: When grounded: shrinks wings as much as possible. Whether that’s in fear (covers himself with his wings), or otherwise (simply pulls wings closer to his back). Is unable to fly (too young, he does not know how).
