Owl House concept: Previous Golden Guards

So we know that there have been various Golden Guards over the hundreds of years Belos was being a crybaby bitch. And it made me have an interesting idea.

What if every pervious Golden Guard's style had a theme connected to the time period going on in the Human Realm? The closer to the modern era we got, the "modern" the Guards would get? Just an idea.

I decided to change Golden Guard Shoto’s hair style. So instead of this:

He now has what I think is a more professional look to him. I think it also reflects the character arc he’s supposed to go through. The original hairstyle feels more “childlike” which is in quotations because I couldn’t find a better word for it. He looks more like a professional soldier with his hair slicked back, he’s always on the job and there is no time for him to really have a childhood. After he runs away from AFO and after the events of King’s Tide in this AU, he now has a chance to experience bite and pieces of the childhood he never got to have. Then after the death of his palisman ( i don’t know if it will still be Flapjack or a different animal) he kinda reverts back to the new hairstyle.

I might redesign some of the characters I’ve done for this au.

Bound by Interlocks AU

Let me explain the AU;

Eberwolf, the esteemed leader of the Beast Keeping coven, carries a clandestine secret hidden beneath their gloves. They conceal Interlocks, revealing their true identity as a Palisman whose owner is none other than Evelyn Clawthorne—an ancestor to Eda and Lilith. Tragedy struck when Evelyn and Eberwolf were forcibly separated during a fierce encounter with the Emperor's Coven's scouts.

Seeking solace within the depths of the ancient woods, Eberwolf's path crossed with that of the former Golden Guard—a figure also known as Darius's mentor. Recognizing the significance of Eberwolf's hidden nature, the former Golden Guard offered them shelter within the ranks of the Emperor's Coven. It remained a guarded secret, known only to Darius's mentor, that Eberwolf was, in fact, a Palisman.

took a break from working on my webcomic and went insane over this bad weird gloopy teen for a bit.

alr since im a major goldric fanatic and admit that i will jump to conclusions to EVERY SINGLE CRUMB I RECEIVE i actually found this scene to be pretty funny

so the thing is, before hunter/the golden guard and the whole goldric/huntric ship began, jerbo was a MAJOR candidate to be edric’s shipping partner.

like before all the fan theories and fanart of goldric, jerbo was the only character to be shipped with edric and now that hunter is the bigger character to be shipped with-> its kind of hilarious when you see the interaction between jerbo and hunter is a little more aggressive on both parties (hunter being weirded out by him and jerbo wishing to change the odd system of the covens) compared to the other interactions that hunter has whilst convincing other student to join the emperor’s coven.

(other interactions were mostly on the opposing party, where they would feel uncomfortable or sort of disinterested, except for Viney-> it was on Hunter since her pet griffin did attempt to attack him)

The owl house crew really went "this boy will keep his menacing cool first impression for one episode"

First entrance: Shoots out of water in a giant kickass fist after Eda says Luz could have gotten killed

Quotes: "That can still be arranged" while mask is literally steaming

Then the rest are:

Casually whistles the freaking show's theme on an errand run

Gets his ass rocketed away like team rocket

Accidentally falls off a rock ledge directly in front of the people he was spying on

Gets recognized by his annoying voice and then runs away only to get clowned on

Gets his sock stolen by some beast after failing to socialize with people his age then tries to run away from a 14 year old girl (I mean that's fair though in this context)

Gets his ass dragged down to the ground anyway and is literally bound up in vines terrified of middle schoolers (ok mostly the first one tho)

Walks out of the shadows intimidatingly (in his mind) in the most ugliest raggedy-assed lookin outfit ever and accidentally reveals his trash-pile home

Tries to look cool like the friends coming along was their idea but gets called the fuck out
