This was a sharp one
Let's talk a little bit about how things work in 5 episode
It's hard to say what I feel now cause I'm confused about how telltale made all of the things work... I mean the villain path is good, even the way better I expected. Even this dinner scene (honestly at the same time I truly believed this part belonged to vigilante one and didn't even give the second thought so it's a surprise for me). And yet the vigilante path... I expected drama but NOT SO MUCH PAIN! Okay, I understand John's point of view about the violent way of solving problems cause he learned it from Bruce. BUT what if my Bruce wasn't so violent? I mean he didn't hurt Willy but paid for his "medicine". He was merciful during the fight with one of the Bane's henchmen. And he neither hit Bullock nor let John do it, so I picked "bribe" option on this one. I avoided using violence every time I could but still I have this conversation how he watched me and came to conclusion that violence solves a lot of problems... So all my previous choices on this case were pointless? Cause other way John wouldn't be so cruel as a hero if he REALLY saw me. But I guess you would have had to give us another ending then? Without this drama-full fight between my boys? And it's way more work.

Things I don’t want to see in Episode 5
John getting talked into going back to Arkham in the vigilante route
Bruce getting into a dumb, forced fight with vigilante John over something that could easily be talked through
Bruce yelling at John over what happened on the bridge and me not being able to stop that
John somehow getting infected by the virus (in order to make him unstable and physically resilient like comic book Joker), especially vigilante John
Things I do want to see in Episode 5
Bruce telling John, or at least having the opportunity to tell John, that he made the right call on the bridge because Bruce has his own suspicions about Waller and it would definitely be a bad idea to just hand it over to her (although we should probably also talk about shiving people)
Vigilante John becoming an official, or unofficial given that his already questionable public image may tank after this, Batman partner and getting invited to live with Bruce, or at least Bruce getting him a decent place to live that is not in an abandoned subway (and also a car)
I swear to god my Bruce would invite everyone to live at his house if he could
Bruce and John having a nice, calm, productive conversation about what happened in the Fun House
Things that are almost definitely not going to happen in Episode 5 but I would like to see anyway
Some kind of romance, or at least the beginnings of one, with John
Openly and Blatantly, in recompense for me having to tell the game once every five minutes that no I am not interested in dating Selina and that yes I would in fact prefer to stay just friends
I’m playing my Bruce as a closeted gay man, and, while I, a known lesbian, would totally be down for dating Selina, my Bruce is not

Okay, I’m gonna talk about this. The cafe scene is a favourite, but I wanted to monitor Bruce a little, looking at his body language. In the first gif, when he did an impression of Harley, he blinks a lot and looks away. This suggests feeling awkward, which is understandable, he’s playing pretend with John.
The second gif I love, because it screams smitten to me. He’s completely relaxed, but not only that, he makes himself appear smaller, more petite or frail. He’s also smiling and diverting his eyes. I don’t know if writers were going for this, but that’s how it looks to me. Honestly, it’s adorable.
I find myself thinking that perhaps, JUST PERHAPS, this is when Bruce starts to see John as more than a friend, even if he doesn’t really know it yet. The whole scene is brilliant (provided you pick the “be yourself” choice, so rip me, but the other one is good too). The writers did say that this “date” was important, and that John might not be after just Harley’s feelings.
I am starting to believe that up until ep4, it’s us as players to decide if we have developed a friendship in John, and with what happens in ep4, how important is that friendship, and if we choose the right choice or not.

You know what was I thinking? About this serum and so on in BTTG? If Waller tells us the truth and Riddler's body was destroyed we couldn't create a serum.... BUT!!! As we remember mr. Freeze was infected too and after we lowered the temperature he definitely was gonna live! That means we possibly could use his blood to create it! A serum! All I'm trying to say is John should still have one virus and if we'd keep our promise about helping Nora mr. Freeze might want to work with us! Besides he needs this serum. And if John would insist I personally gonna help Harley too cause I want, ok :D And geez I can't leave Bane aside.... Sooo I can already imagine how COOOL it's gonna be if we could help each other and than defeat Waller together! Oh man if Telltale only would let me do such crazy things I'm gonna be the happiest fan ever!!! What are you thinking guys?))

In your guy’s opinion which of the max VA’s speak to you the most. This includes hit the road, the show and telltales VA’s. As well which voice do you hear when reading things in max’s character ?
Well, here’s something after not posting in a while. (Spoilers for The Devil’s Playhouse)
Well, my drawing tablet needed repairs, so it’s led to me doing a lot of sketches and drawings on paper, this one inspired by the ending of The Devil’s Playhouse. I know it’s probably stupid for me to draw these two in any sentimental nature, particularly Max, but I always assumed even with how chaotic they can be, they also has a soft side. (mostly coming from my personal experience of being the absolute fucked up person I genuinely am that still has space for affection sometimes) So here they both are paying their respects to their alternate selves who lost their lives after being turned into giant monsters and mercy killed in the aftermath of using their psychic abilities to save the world from a great otherworldly evil. I genuinely do think Max was more negatively affected by this than he was letting on. (“Fun” fact: Lagomorphs in general have a tendency to hide any vulnerability they have, which first evolved to protect them from predators)
Also I’m probably going to be taking a break from Tumblr. It’s not giving me joy like it used to, and anyone can report an art piece for no reason and get it blocked for some fucking reason. I’d wish the Sam and Max fandom well, but I don’t want to make this post more emotional and sappy than it already is.
