Rambling about sonas because they are living in my brain

ok…so…I have a lot of different sonas, most of which you have not seen (either because I haven’t had a need to use them or I haven’t drawn them) that being said, I wanna talk about them.

I’m not really sure how I’d describe this. In my mind, all my sonas just kinda take turns piloting me around. Kinda like Inside Out. (With maybe a tiny bit of IFS thrown in there, because I went down a rabbit hole of researching that, but I am NOT a therapist) also a bit of inspiration from PetPyves’s persona project (in just different elements of me and my life broken down into separate characters)

So, here they all are (some pics provided, some not)

BARK:

Bark is essentially my true sona. Just a little cartoony version of myself that I draw from time to time.

THE THESPIAN: (old pics)

The Thespian (or simply Thespi) is basically a little Godsona I have for a campaign I’m in. They are known as “The God of Performance” but have also come to represent my occasional bouts of ego.

Ditzy:

Ditzy is my fursona (alien Bassett Hound, but I kinda imagine them being like Mort from Madagascar and is also like….10 other animals lmao), and she basically represents my neurodivergence when I’m unmasked.

Luxuria (Lux):

Lux is a succubus sona that I created for whenever the extremely…NSFT urges come on. She also represents the freedom of sexuality, and how it isn’t something to be ashamed of. (Side note: I AM AN ADULT AND SO IS THIS CHARACTER!!!!!!)

GUT5NG0R3: (not pictured)

This edgelord supreme is a representative of my “edgy emo phase” I had way back when, and how some of that phase (such a music taste and general style/storytelling) has stuck with me. (Also, cringe culture is dead)

Kiddo:

Kiddo is my littlesona, and represents my headspace and personality when I’m regressed. (If any of y’all come in here trying to calm me weird or gross for regressing, instant block)

Scribble:

Scribble is my ventsona, and used for whenever I make vent art/animatics (funnily enough, two of these screenshots are FROM a vent animatic I finished like…yesterday)

And so far….that’s everybody! I’m sure more are to come soon (maybe) but that’s all of them for now. Please feel free to ask questions about them, or anything else !!

Honestly? A week. It would've been shorter if they went official off the bat.

Nak didn't know how to respond to romantic affection. Her confusion with where they stood on their relationship (at the time unlabeled) was also a factor. Krueger is more laid back, he just did whatever felt right, and wanted to prioritize just having her comfortable with him in that way. (Idk if that makes sense)

They're more comfortable around each other now than they are when they started going out.

💔 Do they have any previous relationship experience from past partners? How does it reflect on how they handle their current one?

Nak? None. Krueger's her only relationship experience LMAO what a loser /j . She didn't really have crushes or interest in anyone but herself back in Laos. The couples she saw around during her time in the LPAF gave her insight in how a good and bad relationship is supposed to be (basically living vicariously lol). So when she started being in a relationship with Krueger, she mimicked what she saw in the past before she found her own pace.

Krueger has had a few relationships in the past, but mostly preferred to stay single for longer periods of time. He didn't like how people would change the moment there was romantic feelings involved, and expectations of just having to be "the stoic mysterious lover thats closed off" irked him. With Phayvanh he didn't want that; he wants to be able to be silly around her in the way they usually are, she's one of his best friends. Luckily it came easy with her, their pace was similar in practice :3

If Nak has a broken arm, Krueger ties her hair up for her, sometimes he switches up the ponytail to have it be braids or a half up half down type of thing. (It takes everything in him to not give her the most atrocious hairstyle)

The way they drink tea is so vastly different. Nak drinks hers with nothing while Krueger puts too much sugar in his

Just Admiring each other's tattoos idk they're dumb. Nak is fond of the one on his stomach, but makes fun of the one on his back (the wolf one). Krueger just idly traces the designs of Nak's tattoos on her back with his fingers.

Just??? One randomly smacks the others ass HARD and runs off so the other chases after them?? Weirdos. (Nak is guilty of this)

EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS

Hey y'all, my husband's car just died completely. He's a delivery driver and earns the majority of our money, so this is very bad for us. He still owes $4k on it as well. He also drives me to work, as I have had recent seizures and cannot drive. So this car being dead is somewhat devastating.

Got back from Planet Comicon with such a great haul of art! And a phone charm. 🤩 Let’s go over the art first.

These are all so sick. Most of them were “buy 2, get one free” so my wife and I went on a shopping spree. The Hollow Ichigo, Gear 5 Luffy, and inky Hollow Knight prints are from shanesauerart on Instagram. The other Hollow Knight prints on the right are from @itsmandymo here on Tumblr and other platforms (I have their business card in another photo). The Splatoon 3 Deep Cut print is from Andy Kluthe (again, business card in another photo). The Mario print at the top is from Amourable Art (business card photo). I actually have three other prints I got from them last year of Ichigo, Luffy and the Elric Brothers.

My wife also got some prints from them this time of Howl’s Moving Castle and Majora’s Mask.

All in all, some pretty cool stuff. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!

These lovely Bleach, Chainsaw Man, and Samurai Jack prints are from Sketch Cartel who can be found on Instagram. I also got a print from them last year of Sukuna and Yuji from Jujutsu Kaisen.

They’re all so pretty. 🤩 Now, this next photo is all of the business card we acquired for some of the artists mentioned above.

Finally, the last thing I got was THIS!

A Magnemite phone charm! Isn’t it adorable? FYI, I’ve owned the Bleach phone case for about a month or two now. It’s not new but it is neat. Anyway, this little guy was being sold with other Pokémon merch not normally found outside of Japan. So that’s pretty neat.

All in all, I had a pretty great time at Planet Comicon and can’t wait to go again next year. I’ve been to it about five times and had a blast each time. This October, they’re gonna open a new sister con, Planet Anime. I am stoked for that. More cool art to add to my collection!!! And maybe some autographs from english dub voice actors. 🤩

I love seeing art on here that I already saw on insta or vice versa cause then I get to give the artist more of my love for their work. Shout out to all the artists I follow on both insta and here they deserve of the love for their work. Shout out to all artists out there and continue creating so I can see all the beautiful things you make
