I have many complaints about Danganronpa (affectionate) but one of the biggest ones is that the students don't make nearly enough jokes about the situation. Put a bunch of teens in a mildly stressful situation, and in 5 minutes they'll come up with an inside joke about it.
Some ideas for what they could have been:
Referring to your classmates as random numbers after Leon. Everyone automatically knows who that is.
If someone tries to kill you at 3am, they legally can't do that. tell them to reschedule at a time where you're both awake.
Every Disney movie ever is in fact about Sonia.
Whoever can interrupt Nagito's monolouge with the best Nagito impression wins.
Togami uses money for things no sane person would use money for. The more impractical, the better.
Trying to get Genocide Jack into furry porn via Hifumi, so she might kill the mastermind for us.
Making up Ibuki Mioda songs about random topics. Ibuki likes some of the ideas so much she actually wrote them.
Since everything Kokichi says is a lie, anything you get him to say can no longer happen.
Coming up with fake motives for the mastermind that are incredibly stupid/downright ridiculous.
Every robot is Kiibo. How can you be sure it isn't?

Gintama’s really got something for everyone.
The anime’s funny and has this energy to it that you can tell everyone involved was having a great time. It’s a wonderful ensemble comedy that genuinely makes me laugh out loud.
The serious arcs are hype as heck, the fights are brutal and well choreographed. And they exist to magnify the emotional beats, so they feel like they have narrative weight. It matters how a fight goes down.
It’s a very good political drama. From the beginning you can tell that something shifty is going on, and each group is more or less its own political faction. The plotting is tight and it’s easy to follow what each faction wants and why.
And it has really a great philosophical message. It has something to say, and that message is bigger than all the individual moments of self reflection from the cast. The narrative feels subtly woven together to make that greater message.
And it’s anime comfort food. It’s found family. It’s learning to live and make connections to other people even though it’s hard.
It’s a series that’s big enough that you could live in it.

A scenario where a robot is trying to blend in with human society but has no knowledge of the modern day lingo:
Robot: In order to keep my human body stable, I must remember to eat time specific meals. So relatable.
Human Friend: You’re so real for that.
Robot: *slightly panicking* Of course I’m real, did anything I say make you doubt so?
Human Friend: o.O ?

like i'm sorry but we as a fandom have to stay firm on our anti-AI values. we cannot suddenly start giving AI a pass when it's something we "want to see" like destiel kisses. it's not suddenly fine. we're not going to start using AI to make fanfic scenes come to life or audio AI to make characters "say" stuff we want to hear. you have GOT to be firm on your anti-AI stance. if you start making exceptions then suddenly anything will fly. fandom is for real art and creations made by real people. no AI fanfics. no AI art. no AI rendered "bonus" scenes. no AI audio. none of it has a place here.

Give Gempa headcanons 👀

Okay, first of all-- Sentient Elements. Let's put that out here first. Now it's time for headcanons.
1) Absolute mommy, and while he'll complain about having to take care of everyone like they're kids-- He'll feel useless and pushed aside if he didn't have to anymore.
This is more of a headcanon in a fanfic series of mine BUT-- 2) Gempa somehow always know when Boboiboy is in any distress or pain, whether physically, mentally, emotionally. (MOMMY INSTINCTS, GUYS. HEAR. ME. OUT.)
3) Gempa low-key loves Boboiboy as if he were Gempa's kid. Like-- HEAR ME OUT-- Gempa and the other Elements know it's useless to get attached to Users, they all lived shortly, compared to the Elements' immortality. And one day while they were split, Boboiboy started spouting Science and Space facts, rambling and ranting, the absolute spitting image of 'Erhm, acktually-!' in the comfort of his equal cringe and brainrotted friends and Gempa went through all the stages of grief only to come to the horrifying realization that is now his child.
4) Gempa is mischievous. Not equal to TTM, no. But a few pranks here and there. He can't help but find it funny, especially when everyone points fingers at the TTM since; 'Gempa wouldn't do something so childish!'
5) Holds grudges. He will, and absolutely remember the times you've wronged him. Which brings me to the next headcanon--
6) Will pick a fight with Fang any chance he gets. Through snarky or snide remarks with a sinister smile. Those two cannot be trusted to be alone together. Fang fights back too, and Solar had to be the mediator between them once during a mission. The only time Solar ever truly felt how tiring it was to deal with people who acted like toddlers. He suddenly was much more kinder to Gempa after it.
7) Other than with the other Elements and Boboiboy-- Gempa actually hangs out with Yaya sometimes. They just happened to click (Gossip was also involved). He was once invited to a sleepover with Yaya and Ying where they spent the night talking, gossiping, doing skincare and face masks, gossiping, baking, gossiping-- Did I mention gossiping?
8) Gempa is really traumatized. Like-- Really traumatized. He acts like he isn't affected but he's one of the most affected ones actually. Survivor's guilt, PTSD, you name it, he probably has it. Not that he'll seek help from anyone, no. He's the Earth Element. Unbreakable. And he won't shake. Not even as his walls and foundations crumbled, chipped, cracked-- The very thing holding him up fading away as time wore it down.
Ahhh, that's all I remember honestly. I've made headcanons over the years, some very fleeting, only lasting for a quick daydreaming session. Thanks for the Ask! I love rambling so much:3
