RUS: Рисуя Шэдоу с Марией, я невольно вспомнила один из любимейших мультфильмов моего детства - "Лило и Стич", где девочка Лило встречает пришельца Стича, которого она перевоспитывает в лучшую сторону. И я подумала: а почему бы не изобразить кроссовер с этими двумя парочками, ведь, в целом, они похожи: добрая девочка и пришелец, который может всё легко разрушить, и которого девочке приходится с нелёгким трудом изменить и сделать его добрыми. 😏
Я уверена, что Лило с Марией найдут общий язык. И им, пожалуй, придётся следить в оба за своими "братьями".😁
ENG: While drawing Shadow with Maria, I involuntarily remembered one of the favorite cartoons of my childhood - "Lilo and Stitch", where the girl Lilo meets the alien Stitch, whom she re-educates for the better. And I thought: and why not depict a crossover with these two couples, because, in general, they are similar: a kind girl and an alien who can easily destroy everything, and whom the girl has to change with hard work and make him kind. 😏

The Promise
This fanfiction was written before the release of the third Sonic movie, so this story can be considered his alternate universe...
— Soon the colony will come out of orbit and destroy this pathetic planet Earth, along with its damned people… Soon humanity will perish, and then… Then you will be avenged, Maria..." the black hedgehog with red stripes mused aloud, looking at the Earth through the porthole.
A moment later, the metal door opened, letting in a yellow two-tailed fox cub and a red echidna.
"If the coordinates are correct, then we will soon find the Chaos emeralds and the Master Emerald, and possibly Sonic along with them," Tails explained to Knuckles. Suddenly, they slowed down when they noticed a red-eyed hedgehog.
—Shadow! — The fox cub called out to him. The hedgehog turned in response.
"Who do I see? The fox and the echidna. The so—called blue hedgehog family," he quipped.
— Do you know where Sonic is?" We need to find him urgently! Otherwise, we won't be able to stop the fall of the ARK colony!
"I have no idea where that hedgehog is." And even if I did, I wouldn't tell you! Especially for such pitiful and insignificant creatures like you…
—Pathetic?" Insignificant?! — Knuckles screamed, covered with red lightning from anger. — Now I'll show you what such pitiful and insignificant people can do!
—Knuckles, no! We don't have time for fights," Tails stood in front of Echidna, stopped his friend, and then turned back to the black and red hedgehog. "Shadow, please help us. We can't save the world from destruction without Sonic."
— Hmm. I don't understand why you're worried about him.… Besides, I also don't understand why he chose you over me as his blood brother.
—A brother?" Tails and Knuckles were surprised.
- Yes. Although all this is probably not important now. Soon, the colony will fall on the planet, thereby destroying everything.
"We can't let that happen!" We need to prevent this before it's too late! Shadow, please help us stop this! — Why? What's the point of saving everyone if we're going to die sooner or later anyway? — the hedgehog asked them, and then continued, gradually raising his tone. "Besides, these people deserved to die! They took the life of my dear friend! They killed Maria! And she hadn't done anything wrong to them!" — he shouted, and his scarlet eyes turned bright red, and red lightning appeared on his skin.
"I know there were bad people who did this to you... but not all people are bad."… There are some good ones. Besides, most of the people living on the planet are innocent of anything. These people don't know what happened to you and Maria.…
— So let them find out! Let them know about my revenge!
"Shadow, listen to me.… If Sonic is your brother, then help him.… Help save humanity… After all, he's your family.…
— It's not for you to judge who my family is, little fox… Why would you say that about her?
— Because Sonic is our friend and brother. He's our family too. And for the sake of a family, you can do anything..." explained Tails. "You'd do anything for Maria, wouldn't you?"
And then Shadow, grinning, couldn't stand it and attacked the fox cub, grabbing him by the neck and pinning him against the wall.
"Don't you dare tell me what Maria wanted and what she didn't want."… You didn't know her..." the hedgehog hissed ominously, sparkling with red lightning, and then shouted. — I knew her better than anyone, like no one else! And I know exactly what she would like!
"Shadow, that's probably not true."… I'm sure you're wrong..." the two—tailed croaked, unable to get out of the striped hedgehog's tight grip.
Suddenly, the grip loosened. Tails slid to the floor and saw Knuckles blocking him, while Shadow was lying a little further away on the floor.
"Don't you dare touch the fox cub!" Otherwise, you'll have to deal with me! Echidna shouted, banging his fists against each other.
"You want a fight, then? You're going to get it now..." the hedgehog hissed, getting up, and then rushed at the echidna, who hurried to meet him.
— Chaos Control! Shadow shouted and teleported, hitting Knuckles from behind so that he rolled over and fell.
Then the hedgehog looked at Tails with its bright red eyes. He slowly moved towards the yellow fox. The man was afraid to move under his gaze.
Shadow raised his right hand, which he was about to use to launch his power at the fox cub. Tails closed his eyes and turned to him:
— Shadow, I'm sorry about what happened to you and Maria, honestly.… But innocent people shouldn't suffer because of your hatred! I know there is a better way than this. After all, you can save them! It's not too late to fix everything! You could give them all a chance to be happy!
Shadow suddenly froze as he heard the fox cub's last words. Looking at him, it was as if he saw not a trembling little fox, but a sweet golden-haired blue-eyed girl whom he loved with all his heart.
— M... Maria?.. — he whispered. —No...This is can't be real… This… It can't be... no..." he staggered away from Tails. He was surprised by the reaction of the dark hedgehog, as he expected a blow from him.
"Tails, are you okay?" — the fox heard Knuckles's cry, who ran to him. "Did he hurt you?"
- No. I'm fine, Knuckles. Everything's fine..." Tails glanced at Shadow again, staring at nowhere and holding his hands behind his head. Knuckles got ready for a new round, but the fox cub took echidna by the hand.
—Wait, Knuckles. No need.
- Why? He attacked us.
"We don't have time for a fight right now. We have to hurry. We've spent enough time," he explained to his friend, and then they walked on together.
Meanwhile, Shadow was remembering the very moment when he said goodbye to Maria.…

Memory…
— Maria, let me out of here! You don't know what you're doing! I have to protect you! — Shadow shouted, trying to get out of his confinement. At that time, the girl was tapping on the keyboard of a device that would lower the capsule down. After a moment, she smiled and turned to a friend:
—Shadow, can you please promise me something?.. I know the soldiers are coming here soon, and they've done a lot of bad things, but... don't hold hatred against all people, Shadow. There are other, very good people in the world. I would like you to protect such people and save them. After all, they need to be given a chance to live a happy life. Would you do this for me, Shadow?.. Will you promise me? ..
—Maria...— was all the hedgehog said, looking at his friend from the capsule.
Suddenly, one of the soldiers burst into the room.
— Don't move! — he shouted.
Maria, frowning, prepared to press the lever with which she would allow the Perfect Life Form to escape.
"Don't you dare pull the lever! Can you hear me?" — The soldier shouted, aiming his weapon at the girl. "If you pull the lever, I'll have to kill you!"
Shadow, kicking and shoving, tried to get out of his confinement. But the glass of the capsule was too strong to break. And the hedgehog had no choice but to watch what was happening.
— Maria, no! Don't do this! Shadow shouted. Maria smiled at her best friend for the last time and pressed the lever with tears in her eyes:
— Sayonara, Shadow the hedgehog…
Then a shot rang out.
— MARIA-A-A-A!!! — a hedgehog's cry was heard as the capsule ejected.
The end of the memory…

— Maria… I promise… I promise that I will save the planet that you cherished so much.… I'll fix everything," Shadow whispered to himself, wiping tears from his eyes. And then he hurried after the friends of the blue hedgehog.

A huge lizard equipped with life-sustaining technology, the Biolizard, kept Sonic and his friends away from the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald.
— Sonic, what are we going to do? Tails asked his leader.
"We're going to have to fight him, Tails. There is no other way out. I'll take care of him, and you and Knuckles…
"You'd better leave it to me,— Shadow's voice suddenly came to everyone. "I'll fight him, and the three of you go to the emeralds."
Tails and Knuckles were a little unsure about the black hedgehog, but Sonic nodded to him and agreed.
— Alright. Follow me, guys!
Shadow wasted no time attacking the techno lizard using the chaos spear. The monster roared and attacked the hedgehog in response, who managed to dodge.
"I will keep my word, Maria. I will save the world for you. Even if I have to give my life," he mused as he continued his battle with the Biolizard.

— Скоро колония сойдёт с орбиты и уничтожит эту жалкую планету Земля, вместе с её проклятыми людишками… Скоро человечество погибнет, и тогда… Тогда ты будешь отомщена, Мария… — размышлял вслух чёрный с красными полосами ёж, глядя на Землю через иллюминатор.
Спустя мгновение металлическая дверь открылась, впуская в помещение жёлтого двухвостого лисёнка и красную ехидну.
— Если координаты верны, то скоро мы найдём изумруды хаоса и Мастер Изумруд, и, возможно, вместе с ними и Соника, — объяснял Тейлз Наклзу. Вдруг они притормозили, когда заметили красноглазого ежа.
— Шэдоу! — окликнул его лисёнок. Ёж в ответ повернулся.
— Кого я вижу? Лис и ехидна. Так называемая семейка синего ежа, — съязвил он.
— Ты знаешь, где Соник? Нам нужно срочно его найти! Иначе нам не остановить падение колонии АРК!
— Я без понятия, где тот ёж. А если бы и знал, то не сказал бы! Особенно таким жалким и ничтожным существам, как вы…
— Жалкие?! Ничтожные?! — вскрикнул Наклз, покрываясь от гнева красными молниями. — Сейчас я покажу тебе, на что такие жалкие и ничтожные могут!
— Наклз, нет! У нас нет времени на драки, — встав перед ехидной, Тейлз остановил друга, а после вновь обратился к чёрному с красным ежу. — Шэдоу, прошу, помоги. Нам без Соника не спасти мир от его гибели.
— Хмф. Не понимаю, почему вы беспокоитесь за него… В прочем, я также не понимаю, почему он выбрал вас, а не меня, как своего кровного брата.
— Брата?! — удивились Тейлз и Наклз.
— Да. Хотя всё это, наверное, теперь не важно. Уже в скором времени колония упадёт на планету, тем самым всё уничтожив.
— Нам нельзя этого допустить! Нужно предотвратить это, пока не стало поздно! Шэдоу, прошу, помоги нам остановить это!
— Зачем? Какой смысл спасать всех, если мы рано или поздно всё равно умрём? — спрашивал их ёж, а затем продолжил, постепенно повышая тон. — К тому же эти людишки заслужили смерть! Они лишили жизни моего близкого друга! Они убили Марию! А ведь она не сделала им ничего плохого! — крикнул он, и его алые глаза стали ярко-красными, а на шкуре появились красные молнии.
— Я знаю, что были плохие люди, которые сделали это с тобой… Однако не все люди плохие… Есть и хорошие. К тому же, большинство людей, живущих на планете, ни в чём не виновны. Эти люди не знают того, что случилось с тобой и Марией…
— Так пусть узнают! Пусть узнают о моей мести!
— Шэдоу, послушай… Раз Соник твой родной брат, то помоги ему… Помоги спасти человечество… Всё таки он — твоя семья…
— Не тебе судить, кто является моей семьёй, лисёныш… С чего тебе это говорить о ней?
— Потому что Соник наш друг и брат. Он тоже наша семья. А ради семьи можно пойти на что угодно… — объяснил Тейлз. — Ведь ради Марии ты бы что угодно сделал, верно?
И тут Шэдоу, оскалившись, не выдержал и набросился на лисёнка, схватив того за шею, и прижал того к стене.
— Не смей говорить мне: чего хотела Мария, а чего — нет… Ты не знал её… — зловеще прошипел ёж, искрясь красными молниями, а затем прокричал. — Я знал её лучше всех, как никто другой! И я точно знаю, чего бы она хотела!
— Шэдоу, наверняка, это не так… Я уверен, ты ошибаешься… — прохрипел двухвостый, не в силах выбраться из крепкой хватки полосатого ежа.
Внезапно хватка ослабла. Тейлз соскальзнул на пол и увидел, как Наклз загородил его собой, в то время как Шэдоу лежал чуть поодаль на полу.
— А ты не смей трогать лисёнка! Иначе тебе придётся иметь дело со мной! — крикнул ехидна, ударив кулаками друг о друга.
— Хочешь драки, значит? Ты её сейчас получишь… — поднявшись, прошипел ёж, а после кинулся на ехидну, тот поспешил ему на встречу.
— Хаос Контроль! — крикнул Шэдоу и, телепортировавшись, ударил Наклза сзади, что тот перекувыркнулся и упал.
Затем ёж взглянул на Тейлза своими ярко-красными глазами. Он неспеша двинулся к жёлтому лису. Тот под его взглядом боялся сдвинуться с места.
Шэдоу поднял правую руку, которой он собирался запустить свою силу в лисёнка. Тейлз, зажмурившись, обратился к нему:
— Шэдоу, мне жаль, что случилось с тобой и Марией, честно… Но из-за твоей ненависти не должны страдать невинные люди! Я знаю, что есть путь лучше, чем этот. В конце концов, ты можешь их спасти! Ещё не поздно всё исправить! Ты мог бы дать им всем шанс быть счастливыми!
Шэдоу вдруг замер, как услышал последние слова лисёнка. Взглянув на того, он будто увидел не дрожащего маленького лиса, а милую златовласую голубоглазую девочку, которую он всем сердцем любил.
— М… Мария?.. — прошептал он. — Нет… Нет… Это… Этого не может быть… Нет… — он, пошатываясь, отошёл от Тейлза. Тот был удивлён реакцией тёмного ежа, поскольку ждал от него удара.
— Тейлз, ты в порядке? — услышал лис крик Наклза, прибежавшего к тому. — Он не ранил тебя?
— Нет. Я в порядке, Наклз. Всё хорошо… — Тейлз снова бросил взгляд на Шэдоу, уставившегося в некуда и держащего руки за голову. Наклз приготовился для нового раунда, но лисёнок взял ехидну за руку.
— Стой, Наклз. Не надо.
— Почему? Ведь он напал на нас.
— У нас сейчас нет времени на драку. Нам надо спешить. Мы итак достаточно потратили времени, — пояснил он другу, и после они вместе пошли дальше.
Тем временем Шэдоу вспоминал тот самый момент, когда попрощался с Марией…

Воспоминание…
— Мария, выпусти меня отсюда! Ты же не знаешь, что делаешь! Я должен защищать тебя! — кричал Шэдоу, пытаясь выбраться из своего заточения. Девочка в это время нажимала на клавиатуре устройства, которое бы спустило вниз капсулу. Спустя мгновение она, улыбнувшись, обратилась к другу:
— Шэдоу, можешь, пожалуйста, пообещать мне кое-что?.. Я знаю, что солдаты скоро сюда придут, и они сделали много плохого, но… Не держи ненависть на всех людей, Шэдоу. В мире есть другие, очень хорошие люди. Я бы хотела, чтобы ты защищал таких людей и спасал их. В конце концов, им нужно дать шанс прожить счастливыми. Ты сделаешь это ради меня, Шэдоу?.. Ты обещаешь мне?..
— Мария… — только и произнёс ёж, глядя на свою подругу из капсулы.
Тут внезапно в помещение ворвался один из солдат.
— Ни с места! — прокричал он.
Мария, нахмурившись, приготовилась нажать на рычаг, с помощью которого она дала бы спастись Совершенной Форме Жизни.
— Не смей нажимать на рычаг! Ты слышишь меня? — прокричал солдат, нацеливаясь своим оружием на девочку. — Если нажмёшь на рычаг, мне придётся убить тебя!
Шэдоу, пинаясь и толкаясь, пытался выбраться из заточения. Но стекло капсулы было слишком крепким, чтоб его сломать. И ежу ничего не оставалось, как наблюдать за происходящим.
— Мария, нет! Не делай этого! — кричал Шэдоу. Мария, в последний раз улыбнувшись лучшему другу, со слезами на глазах нажала на рычаг:
— Прощай, ёж Шэдоу…
Потом раздался выстрел.
— МАРИЯ-Я-Я-Я!!! — донёсся крик ежа, когда капсула катапультировалась.
Конец воспоминания…

— Мария… Я обещаю… Я обещаю, что спасу планету, которой ты так дорожила… Я всё исправлю… — прошептал про себя Шэдоу, вытирая навернувшиеся на глаза слёзы. А после он поспешил вслед за друзьями синего ежа.

Огромный ящер, оснащенный жизнеобеспечивающей технологией, Биолизард, не подпускал Соника и его друзей к изумрудам хаоса и Мастер Изумруду.
— Соник, что мы будем делать? — спросил Тейлз своего лидера.
— Придётся с ним драться, Тейлз. Иного выхода нет. Я его беру на себя, а вы с Наклзом…
— Лучше предоставьте это мне, — неожиданно для всех донёсся голос Шэдоу. — Я сражусь с ним, а вы, трое, идите к изумрудам.
Тейлз и Наклз, были немного не уверены насчёт чёрного ежа, но Соник, кивнув ему, согласился.
— Хорошо. За мной, ребята!
Шэдоу, не теряя времени даром, атаковал техно-ящера, используя хаос копья. Чудище взревело и набросилось на ежа в ответ, тот успел увернуться.
«Я сдержу своё слово, Мария. Я спасу мир ради тебя. Даже если придётся отдать свою жизнь», — размышлял он, продолжая свою битву с Биолизардом.

ARK Siblings
New sketchbook(s) who dis?
I never properly learned how to colour as a kid, putting all my effort into sketching and shading with a pen 😭 it truly did not help the fact that I hated colouring or getting out of my comfort zone. I thank Sonic the Hedgehog for giving me the bravery to get out of my sketching style and try colouring, even if I know little to nothing about colour theory LMAOOOO cannot believe a hedgehog is what it took for me to actually try

if we had cuteness aggression when we saw shadow in the movies, what do you think maria felt when she had the real thing.. (and I MEAN EVERY UNIVERSE) the biting is very sibling behaviour (would have drawn the toes but some of you are freaks/j)

Since the Robotnik family now lives in my head rent-free, here’s my another take on possible events.
Gerald doesn’t have the heart to say "no" to his beloved granddaughter. It’s thanks to Maria that he starts to see Shadow as a person, not just an experiment.

Had the idea to set up my sonic au like an ask blog. I know that probably sounds like the work would be all up to you guys for just short text answered but it would be more like the white Diamond au blog where it’s kinda story driven and has art and stuff and I’d keep info going with smurfs and my friends if no one had any asks in or knew what to ask to get the info I wanna give
That also means I might save some people’s asks for if I wanted to use them strategically to show the world and characters
I still want to do my big plot comic but this could be dipping my toes in the au waters on tumblr without commuting and introducing everyone to the au in Vite sized pieces
But idk it’s a half baked idea rn

I just realized that the Sonic au I started awhile ago and never posted would take place at the same time as the Zombot virus outbreak and before(during?) Frontiers
That means that my Robotnik didn’t make a zombot virus and Mr Tinker (or the equivalent) would never have existed
And I feel like I’ve robbed myself of pure gold

Ok in all seriousness it’s actually that Kris didn’t even have like, any friends before the events of Deltarune. Like, they literally had nobody, besides when Asriel would email them on the dinky old computer in the bedroom.
Pokèmon:
Silver has numerous stitches on his hands from Totodile biting him. Whenever he’d try to pick her up, she’d bite his hand, and stay there as Silver would start yelling at her to get off his hand. Totodile finds this amusing and does it often, and this is also the reason why Silver usually keeps Totodile in her Pokéball.
Sonic The Hedgehog:
Maria is a Robnik so like…she’d want to build robots to help people, she used to on the ark, and like, Tails also makes inventions to help people and so he reminds Shadow of Maria and takes his grief out on Tails. (Sorry buddy-)

Friday Night Funkin:
BF is hyper fixated on sonic and puts little Easter eggs to the franchise’s music in to songs he sings against his opponents. He was deeply traumatized by the Sonic.EXE mod but acted like it didn’t bother him.

Sonic 3 was awesome but I was a little disappointed that I didn't call a plot twist. Anyway, Maria with roller skates is my new favorite thing.
