Kanae has had a hard life. She would've given up a long time ago if it wasn't for the people around her. She fights for that reason and will give her life for the ones she loves.

She was sent on a mission to take out, an unkowningly strong, demon.

After a long battle the demon was finally subdued but Kanae could barely stand.

She limped to a near by tree and sat.

It was getting hard to keep her eyes open.

Resting them for a minute couldn't hurt... Right?

You stumbled upon her still body by coincidence.

Kneeling in front of her, you took in the her appreance. She was clawed from her stomach and had scratches everywhere, she sat in a pool of her own blood.

"Poor child." You said quietly as checked her pulse. It's was slow and weak. She was fading fast.

"It is not your time yet."

Blue flames surrounded her, evaporating the blood at it's touch, you took a step back and watched her wounds close and color some back to her skin.

She fire slowly died out as her eyes fluttered open.

"Farewell, demon slayer"

She blinked and you were gone.

To her it seems like you were just a dream, a hallucination while she was on the brink of death but she knew you were real and thinks about ways to pay you back for saving her.
