Day 28: Flora + brutal
(I hate it, there is nothing else I want to say about it...)
Day 29: Fauna + mutation
(This one turned out to be pretty cute)
Day 30: Flame + personality
(I love Calcifer so I had to draw him for this one)
Day 31: Artist
(She is cute)
rotting away from the inside out
So i recently lost a pet (like- last night)
and I got really sentimental and emotional and I started thinking about other pets i'd lost
so i designed this - a tattoo im going to get when im older
each print represents an animal ive lost
the filled in paw prints are cats
the hollow paw prints are dogs
there are chicken prints and a seagull print
as well as hermit crab claws
and a deer print
all this to say: memorialize your pets in some way. it doesn't have to be a tattoo, but just something to remember them by. making this helped me grieve. I recommend it.
A very sad tale indeed
(He did actually go the petting zoo, we visited him)

I grew up in a log cabin in the middle of the woods so I'm used to lots of wildlife, we even had a bear open a door and walk in. Now I live on a main street of a small town with a BBQ place across from me in a state that's hunted bears out of large areas. This mean I now have wild deer that come right up onto my porch, I assume this is because plants are there in the warmer months, and when I open the door to take my dog out they stare back at us from inches away before taking off. We've also had a huge coyote trying to get into out garbage can at night. Living in the woods they're much more shy and skittish while in towns they're too used to it
