i miss my cat, khonshu, so here are some things about him that just make sense; he’s a black cat
would hide away and sneak on my other pets until he finally had his chance to just *BAP* and add a little bit of trauma to their lives
would never let me bathe him BUT would LOVE washing himself in dirty dish water ????
didn’t know how to meow so just grunted whenever he needed to make an announcement
would make a squeak whenever landing on any surface
cling onto my arm for dear life while we slept
I don’t know exactly how but my cats pushed the mosquito net out of the way and fell out the window again. They are indoor cats as there are coyotes where I live that will eat them. Here they are after their baths,
Autumn with falling leaves; setting suns; warm cardigans; steaming hot coffee that scaldes your tongue with the first sip; tea that reminds you of a lineage of women before you, who have sipped the same recipe, over, and over again, for comfort; baking food for yourself, and sharing it with others; running hands on the soft blanket that reminds you so much of a past that doesn't exist anymore, but was dear to your heart; Folklore and Evermore cause what's fall without TS records; looking at cats and wishing you'd be born as one if there do be a next life, and and and...
having a kitty follow you down the street after you pet it is the highest honour possible. it's like "no, human, you mustn't leave yet, i require more of these things you call scritches, call me a cutie patootie once more."
the way they just follow behind you and you're like "im sorry, i must go" like it's some damn heart break, like we're forbidden lovers.
i always cave and end up stopping, my heart breaks when they meow and follow you, like im sowwwyyyy c'mere sweetheart, im sorry i left
THEY JUST KEEP JUMPING ON THE COUNTER. AND CRAWLING UP HER LEG. THIS IS THE GREATEST PROBLEM YOU COULD EVER HAVE
