Halloween headcanons for my favorite characters in BSD

Chuuya; He definitely dresses up but is the one who (somehow) has the best candy and the scariest house (mans dedicated-)

Dazai; nominated himself to be the hanging body that is totally not real in Chuuya's tree as a prop mostly to scare literally everyone

Atsushi; He got tired of everyone calling him a cat so he was a literal tiger for Halloween

Akutagawa; Does not understand how trick-or-treating works

Gin; like her brother does not know how trick-or-treating works

Rampo; Goes to the same houses as everyone but still somehow has the most candy all the time

Poe; Only dresses up but he watches the scariest of movies and reads the scariest of novels and a very Halloweenie dinner is a must with him

Tachihara; Halloween is the only holiday where he can scare his superiors(mostly Chuuya) and not get yelled at by Mori, so yes it's his favorite holiday, and yes he is aware he starts the scare war every year but doesn't care

Higuchi; Also a target of Tachihara's scares but is also a target of Gin, unlike Tachihara, She(Gin) doesn't know what people do with their friends/family on Halloween since it's always been her and Ryuunosuke, Higuchi makes very Halloween desserts though

Kenji; somehow the cutest and creepest thing as a costume

Kunikida; that one boring teacher

Kyouka; knows where all the best houses are and where the worst ones are

I've just imagined Akutagawa's coat going around for Yokohama while the black lizard is trying to take it

Imagine there’s a virus in BSD that doesn’t really impact the body at all, except for in the case of ability users. Then it just makes their abilities go haywire

It rarely if ever results in anything actually dangerous. It just means that Chuuya can’t stop floating off the ground every few minutes. Rashōmon is constantly branching off of Akutagawa’s coat and doing its own thing.

Kunikida isn’t allowed to touch paper until he’s recovered. Multiple pens and one unlucky stapler got flung across the office by a stronger-than-usual Kenji. Atsushi has a tail that won’t go away.

Since the virus doesn’t affect normal people, nobody ever bothered to develop a vaccine for it, so everyone with an ability just has to deal with it whenever it goes around every couple years or so

Chuuya was the first person to give Akutagawa alcohol because by his logic "you're gonna drink it anyways at some point might as well do it somewhere safe the first time" (safe by fucking mafia standards i guess). Akutagawa ended up crying about Dazai and how perfect stupid Atsushi is (in a pretty gay monologue)after barely two glasses of wine. They both never talked about that night again, but Chuuya always snickers whenever Atsushi is around
