Working on poses + anatomy so I drew a tiefling cuz baldur's gate is continuing to infect my brain❤
Thanks to NexusMods ( https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/85?tab=images ) I can finally make a freckled little witchy wizard (also hope for a druid class in the future I wanna be a druid~) (⊃｡•́‿•̀｡)⊃
Since I can't really play BG3 with Tarlin anymore (I've developed him to the point where if I mess up anything in game I feel like I have to start over and it's exhausting) I decided to make my Corpalis baby

Spent over an hour messing with the character creator to have just examples of Tarlins family.
Been playing bg3 again and enjoying them mods!
Because of all that I finally got around to draw my drow Tarlin (Tavlyn depending on which campaign I'm playing cause I keep making new campaigns and they're all just him)
Tarlin was born in the underdark in Menzoberranzan to a lower Lolth priestess and her pleasure slave, a Seldarine drow named Ristal. He was destined to be a lolth priestess as well, but as an Eilistraee worshipper, Ristal couldn't handle having his youngest being a pawn for the spider queen. So he abducted him while he was only a couple months old and ran to the surface, ending up in Luskan.
While on the surface Ristal fell in love with a half elf who instantly took the role of Tarlins mother. Everything was great until about 6 years in when Ristal disappeared and a odd fringe group of Sune worshippers kidnapped Tarlin.
Tarlins life is a blur after that, living in a cult until his late teens, losing his best friend(who is turned into a vampire), then escaping and wondering Faerun in search of said friend, his mother and father.
He finds his friend in his early 40s shortly before the events of Bg3.
(in traditional vampire fan fashion) Tarlin and Astarion become partners.
In whatever ending the good, the bad, and the heartbreaking, Tarlin ends up being turned into a vampire by his friend during childbirth. He has a daughter with Astarion, Alena, a dhampir.
Little tidbits:
Tarlins left eye is marked with a Sune blessing, the red gets more vibrant when Tarlin develops genuine feelings for someone (the only someone is Astarion). The mark will turn black and his left eye goes blind when he is heartbroken, only happens in a heartbreaking ending.
Tarlin is an Eilistraee worshipper, so he has her old symbol tattooed on his left arm. He has 2 star tattoos on his chest because they are the first thing he remembers seeing when he and his father left the underdark.
Tarlin has piercings, nearly everywhere. He takes out his facial piercings during the events of bg3, cause being punched in the face hurts with them in, and obviously, he fights more, and he can't deal with that bs.
I'm gonna post some screenshots of everyone soon cause I spent 3 hours just designing what everyone in his family looks like.
I did it... I actually drew my Tav and Astarion...
Tavlyn is a Seldarine drow, born in Menzoberranzan to a Lolth priestess and a low life male named Ristal (Seldarine as well) Tav was to become a priestess as well but Ristal didn't want that and kidnapped him and brought him to Luskan, where he grew up.
His marking is a "blessing" from a Sune priest who was obsessed with him. (It darkens in color when he falls in love, genuine love, which he develops for Astarion)
ANYWAY! I DREW THEM!
My current tav :D They’re a dhampir bard (college of valor) and its still early enough that i may multiclass. They are an absolute gremlin and should be turned into goo
Current character I am playing as in BG3. They are a Paladin of Devotion and trying to resist The Dark Urge. They are hot but incredibly stupid and I love them for it. They have no idea what is going on 90% percent of the time and it’s wonderful.

They used to scam people with shitty magic tricks but, uh oh, wild magic, everyone around is now a cat or dog.
Literally, ive gotten that surge like 5 times and it’s so funny
Sorry for inactivity, I have been very ill and don’t have the energy to do anything but sleep or briefly yell about something then go back to sleep. Had a fever for like 4 days now :D

Wanna go insane and draw my Tav and Astarion and Karlach, but eugh. I don’t have the energy to come up with more than a little doodle in my brain.

Baldur’s Gate has taken over my life. It has all i have been playing for the past… since I got it and have not stopped. I’m gonna play more of it after this.
Anyways, here is a portrait sketch of my Tav. Working on a full character thing rn too.

So, I played BG3 when it was in pre-release for Mac, and I wasn’t very well-versed in all the characters. I was only aware of the four main (Gale, Astarion, Shadowheart and Lae’zel). I don’t even know if Karlach was around when I first started playing.
But when it fully re-leased and I could play it for real, I decided to just recreate my pre-release Tav for my full game…
Y’know.
A barbarian tiefling with an undercut on one side and red skin.
Who, I originally drew as having one horn half chipped off.
Y’know.
Exactly like Karlach?
And then when I encountered Karlach and realised, oh damn, she’d be fun to date?
I couldn’t.
Because I travel with my most important people and having two barbarian teiflings seemed like a waste.
So, I had to silently suffer as I made it through the acts, and ended up making an entire new character with the same actions as my original, just to seduce Karlach and have her on my team.
