They've been waiting for him for a while
Imagine the high guard's AND Dee's reaction to the Sentinel interrogation scene when he towers over Bee, now as BABY Bee? Dee's not the only one's who's gonna stand up to him
With how the high guard is with baby beeā¦ what do you think is their first reaction to meeting the sparkling? While Orion pax, D-16 and elita were knocked out??
Cause like Shockwave said, they didnāt knock out a sparkling andā¦ I was wondering how it all went down with baby bee and the high guard

"Is that a-" Shockwave sputters out as Soundwhave nods in both concerned and wonder.
A simple order is given "Don't hurt the sparkling" Didn't even need to be said really. The high guard was a lot of things. Powerful. Scary. Vindictive. Vengeful. Intense. But one thing they also were: protective. Especially of their young. It was part of their duty to protect the future of Cybertron, and that brought a deep sense of care towards sparklings.
They had been cut off from that part of the job for much too long.
The other bots came down easily. Out in a flash. The pink one went down first- they saw as the silver mech react quickly and wrap himself around the sparkling to protect him. Honnorable, but useless.
Sending a sparkling to find them was a sin and fuelled their anger towards Sentinel further than they even believed possible.
"Dee! Wake up!" They heard the small one cry as he wormed his way out of his presumed caretaker's hold to shake his shoulders "Dee! Orion! Elita! Please wake up-" Each plea is like a tear directly into their sparks.
Sorry little one.
They land, quickly. They're surprised to find no fear in the sparkling as they approach- But determination. He puts himself in between his caretakers and them. Ready to fight if needed- and then theres recognition and that hits them even harder.
"You're- You're the Cybertronian High Guard!"
The yellow sparkling gawks at them- then looks at his fallen friends. Conflicted that his apparent heroes just knocked out his best friends.
He doesn't need a lot of reassurance other than 'we won't hurt them' and the sparkling is- well he's adorable and the high guard can't get enough of him. He keeps talking and talking and talking- and asking them for stories and-
They all draw straws to know who gets to hold the sparkling next- but Soundwhave has first pick since he must absolutely give the sparkling a medical check- he doesn't like how malneurished he is but tankfuly he always had energon threats on him.
Still they all get a turn at dotting on him and it feels right. They are warriors but they're also protectors- carers. It's good to be with the very reason you fight for- they also try to get information from the sparkling but... well he doesn't seem to know anything...
The queu is out of the window the moment Starscream sees the sparkling and hogs the baby- of course he does... selfish.
The fun has to end eventually and they try to make B-127 understand they need to look scary and intimidating to interogate his... companions (possible kidnappers- seeing as none of them were his caretaker)
"B-127, you must keep quiet." Starscream can see the kid really does try his best but he can't be quiet for more than a few seconds- endearing but a bit of an obstacle at the moment.
"We can tape his mouth." say Shockwhave... yeah they're not going to do that... weirdo...
"Solution: treat" Soundwhave picks Bee from Starscream and gives him a treat. "Can't talk if his mouth is full." and the kid needs the energon anyway.

And finally, the update is done! It always takes me longer than I assume, thank you so much for your patience <3 The next one is going to have to be in some while, I have a friend visiting so I won't be drawing for a few days. Expect it somewhen at the end of the month.

So, I am not sure if it's possible for a Transformer to NOT know chirolinguistics, but in this AU it's a skill you can learn. And Elita never bothered to do it. Ratchet would know it, to communicate with patients, and I think Orion and D-16 would just learn it for fun, to talk to each other :3
I struggled a lot with the wound on Bee's face. Firstly, I needed to make it look treated, and on the Transformers case I figured it would be something like welding together pieces of metal. Secondly, I used a human skull reference - and obviously that may not be accurate for Transformers. This is just the best I could do!
And about Elita's reaction - she was already shocked about Bee's voice, seeing him now, like this, also added to confusion, and guilt, and it was all too much for her. She run, to probably destroy something. Because... how can she face Bee? Why would he even want to see her? She doesn't consider herself his friend, not after what happened- and how she couldn't prevent it.
What if B-127 DID lose his voice in the movie
Been watching the movie and this thought came to me

What ifā¦ B-127 did lose his voice in the movie?
What ifā¦ it wasnāt Megatron who took his voice?
What ifā¦ Sentinel was the one who took his voice?
When B-127 and D-16 were captured by Sentinel. They were mocked at by Sentinel and when D-16 talked back to him and Sentinel was about to hurt him, Bee stepped inā¦
He yelled at Sentinel to stop and that he was a monster, that everyone will know what he is. A false Prime and that they will tell everyone.
Sentinel laughs at him, saying who will believe them?
Believe him? Over the mighty Sentinel Prime?
Ha, what a joke!
Bee doesnāt care, he will tell anyone and everyone no matter if they believe him. Because if someone believes him, just one. Cog less or not, someone will.
Sentinel hearing this, does realize that can happen. Even if Bee isnāt the one who does it, it could be someone of the high guard, or someone else who could find out about what Sentinel has been doing.
Soā¦ Sentinel decides toā¦ send a message, show them what will happen if they even think about telling someone, itās a message to everyone in that room.
Sentinel agrees with Bee, that someone could believe him or anyone else that found out, so heāll make sure that doesnāt happenā¦
a precaution you could say.
Sentinel grabs B-127 by the throat raising him above the ground.
D-16, watching this happen, his rage is replaced with fearā¦ for B-127. He yells at Sentinel,
āStop! What you doing!! Let him go!!!ā
B-127 is terrified, heās frantically asking what Sentinel is doing as he struggles against his hold.
āIām making sure that you or anyone else can say anything about what you know, because youāre right someone might believe youā¦ and I canāt let that happen.ā
Sentinel stabs his hand into Beeās throat. Sparks fly everywhere as Bee lets out a blood curdling scream, begging for him to stop, his voice glitching in and out in pain.
D-16 screams at Sentinel, begging him to stop.
Before he didnāt care if he got hurt but now Bee is taking the fall for him.
D-16 didnāt want this to happen, the only reason this is happening is because Bee wanted to make sure D-16 didnāt get hurt.
And it worked, it worked all too well.
This feeling of pain feels like it will a thousand cyclesā¦ all Bee wants is for the pain to stop, this pain is nothing like anything heās ever experienced.
Sentinel pulls out Beeās voice box, sparks fly everywhere as he holds it in his hands.
Sentinel smirks, crushing it in his hands. Dropping B-127 to the ground.
āThis, is what will happen to those who donāt know how to keep their mouth shut.ā
āBee!!! Are you okay? Bee?!ā
B-127 tries to talk to D-16, but what comes out is painful noises of what used to be his voice.
āCome on Bee, say something!!ā
Silenceā¦
When D-16 first met Bee, he wished for silenceā¦
While traveling with him to find the Matrix, he wished for silenceā¦
When captured by the high guard, he wished for silenceā¦
But nowā¦ all D-16 wanted was to hear his voiceā¦
The silence he wished for was far louder than when Bee talked for hours.
The silence had never been so loud beforeā¦.

Iām not the first person to say this, but mischaracterization of Bumblebee in the TFONE fandom is honestly kind of crazy.
The infantilization aspect of it is really problematic, because it treats a full-grown man like the ākidā of the group. Bumblebeeās been slotted into this role because heās often depicted as playing a son-like role to Optimus, which I of course *love,* generally speaking, but thatās not the role they went with in this movie, and B is still getting slotted into this role.
But in TFONE, B is actually quite possibly older than Orion Pax and D-16. We donāt know, but heās been in Sublevel 50 for so long, he very well could be, and thereās nothing at all suggesting heās younger than them.
Unlike in other iterations, B isnāt an āapprenticeā to Optimus, either. Heās been at his side since *before* the Autobots were founded, which, since the Autobots will no doubt continue for millions of years, establishes him as a senior Autobot, not the ānew kidā role he usually plays, either.
Then thereās Bās personality. B is talkative and energetic and eager to make new friends. Heās the comic relief character, which casts him in a less serious tone, but certainly not that heās a kid. Orion doesnāt play a mentoring role to him throughout the movie, nor do any of them try to manage or babysit him. Heās an equal part of the group, even if he feels less āmatureā because of his talkative personality.
B can also be read as neurodivergent, which makes the infantilisation of him in the fandom more problematic, since it treats hyperactivity and other traits found in neurodivergent *adults* as ākidā traits.
Like, why is B interpreted as the kid of the dynamic? Heās the weird uncle they found in the basement, obviously.
Not to mention, Bās primary trait as the movie goes on is his violent tendencies. Based on the fandom, youād guess he was the most innocent lil guy, when in the movie, he actively takes joy in creating chaos and going on violent outbursts.
While his violence is made out to be a joke in the movie, in a potential sequel I would *love* to see it taken seriously as a character flaw. B is unpredictable and chaotic, and this could make him hard to work with in the Autobot cause.
Bās violent tendencies are genuinely concerning; the amount of joy he gets from slicing drones in half and holding the security team at knife point is uncharacteristic of your usual Autobot hero, and I wish people would talk about that aspect of his character instead of downplaying it when he gets turned into a lil baby in the fandom.
It reminds me of the infantilization of Tailgate in the MTMTE fandom. Heās treated like a lil baby because heās small and emotional. This sucks because
1) Iām short and I *hate* seeing physically small characters babified to an extent I know they never would be if they were the same height as the rest of the cast around them
2) it treats being emotionally vulnerable as āchild-like,ā when MTMTE literally makes a point about the fact that Tailgate is one of the only people who can healthily process his feelings, since he doesnāt have war PTSD, and crying and having other big shows of emotion arenāt childlike, itās healthy.
3) not to mention that Tailgate was a victim of emotional manipulation. Infantilizing him treats him like he was āgullibleā for being tricked when Getaway was literally painstakingly planning a longterm relationship to groom him. Donāt infantilize victims, itās treats it was their fault for being manipulated and not the abuserā¦ you know, manipulating them.
Tailgate also is powerful/violent like Bumblebee, and this similarity gets downplayed. I havenāt been in as much of the MTMTE fandom (Iām still reading Lost Light, and Iām trying to avoid spoilers) but I have seen the Tailgate infantilization to an extent, and the B infantilization is literally the only way I ever see B being treated by the fandom.
