"Good! Everything should be perfect!" He said, his crimson eyes lighting up.

Kalim looked especially excited with the upcoming event, a smile on his face as he went around to check that everything was alright.

"Are you satisfied with the results, young master?"

"...yes. I hope he is too."

That one name of the person he loved. The one who never failed to make his heart skip a beat, putting a smile on his face and making him feel so happy. Being with them is nothing but pure bliss to Kalim. Every moment they spent together sent him to cloud nine.

The best feeling in the world indeed.

He'd do absolutely anything just to be with them. But so would Jamil.

Kalim isn't as oblivious as most would think. Perhaps it was because of his dear friend's overblot that opened his eyes to his feelings. He could clearly see the adoration in Jamil's eyes everytime he looked at them.

"Do you like (Name)?" Kalim asked and the answer came quick.

"Yes." 

That was all he needed to hear. 

Jamil loves (Name) and Kalim was his wingman. But he never told anyone about his own feelings. Not even Jamil...but some were still able to see through him.

"Why?" Azul had asked him one day. "You know he'll stand back if you said it."

"I know. If I did...he would've smiled and offered his help. I don't want to take something away from him again." Was his only reply.

It pained him more than anything to watch them fall in love. Seeing Jamil spend time with the one he likes, receiving the love that would've been his, and yet the worst part was seeing the smile that he cherished directed at someone other than himself, sent a thousand bolts of lightning to his heart. 

But above it all, what hurt the most was when (Name) accepted. 

"Kalim."

"Yeah?"

"I think I love Jamil."

"Re-Really? That's good news, (Name)!"

"Congrats, Jamil, (Name)! I wish you all the best of years together. From your best man and friend. Cheers! To the newlyweds!"

The smile on their face was enough for Kalim. Jamil's happy and so is (Name). That was enough. He was satisfied.

...except he wasn't.

Late that night, after the celebration when all the guests had gone back to their homes and it was only him left...a bitter smile made its way to his face and a tear escaped his eye.

"If I didn't stand back...if I told him you were mine and confessed to you...would you have been mine instead? Would I be the one you kiss? Would you look at me like that too?"

Kalim sighed, putting down the wine glass he held onto a nearby table.

"Well, at least you have Jamil now. He'll make you happy...keep you satisfied. I wish you all the best.."

•It's no secret that Cater is very addicted active in Magicam, almost posting photos nonstop 24/7 and using really cringy and over the top tags like #imsohandsomevilcouldnever or #ihavetopainttherosesredagainsaidriddle.

•What's also no secret is that Cater is dating s/o. Unlike Cater, they do post stuff online but not as much as Cater–they also mostly post drawings or art that they've seen or made themselves.

•The 2 of them of course, met online on Magicam. Cater came a across a beautiful drawing made by s/o and decided to like, comment and share the post. He then texted them privately in their dms, complementing their drawing and the relationship grew from there.

•Since both Cater and s/o go to different schools, the both of them only got to meet during weekends, vacations or winter and summer breaks.

•Even if they carried on a long distance relationship, they still loved each other dearly. Often calling and texting each other during breaks or when they have free time.

•They would mostly go on dates like going to cat or dog cafes, the aquarium, the cinema and even the Monstro Lounge just to grab a drink (not booze i swear) and chat about how each others' week is going.

•Cater loved it when his s/o would allow him to lay on their lap and braid his hair and stuff. He found that really cute. He also enjoys teasing and flirting with them a lot, resulting in either s/o pouting in defeat or having a really witty comeback.

•But like a lot of relationships, they too have some moments where they were jealous of one another.

•For s/o, they hated it when random girls would ask Cater online to go on them a date with them, be their girlfriend and hell even get married.

•They would also get angry when random people would just come up to Cater to talk and complement about him, not even acknowledge their presence. They would of course give them death glares and reminders that he's taken.

•Cater on the other hand suffers the same thing. He too would also hate it when people would flirt with s/o in front of his face.

•When that happens, he would politely and cheerfully ask them to piss off before he uses his unique magic to kick their asses multiple times.

•Hell, he would even kiss their s/o right then and there and start making out without a care in the world.

I really wanna write a reunion now after reading this lol

This isn't a request but after reading its time to go home. How do you think everyone would react to the reader leaving? I know malleus would all be even more depress knowing that his only person who didn't know his identity had left

This is something I could potentially work on! 

But in short, here’s what I have so far:

The first years would be gloomy. Very gloomy. They’d have no mood to do absolutely anything. Ace and Deuce would be more quiet and less interested in fights and whatnot. Jack would try to hide his true feelings but often times people could notice that he wasn’t himself. Epel and Sebek would still go about their day but they would be less motivated to do anything. If they happened to have a gathering, they would try their old antiques in making one another laugh but nothing will work. They would also just stare into nothingness and think: ‘What’s the point anyway? (Y/N) isn’t here to enjoy this with us.’

The dorm leaders would try to not dwell on your absence too much. They would carry on their duties as usual. But they knew, oh they knew alright, they knew that it wasn’t the same without you. After all, their lives were saved by you! They wouldn’t have overcame their overblottings if it wasn’t for you. They will still try their best in their duties but often times they would just give up early on.

The seniors would notice their respective dorm leader’s gloominess and would also be affected by it, after all, you were acquainted with your seniors and you also did have a strong bond with them. Sure, they would try to support their dorm leaders but nothing was working. They too were getting sadder and sadder each day.

Grim. Grim will have it the worst. You were the only reason he could be a student in Night Raven College. You were the only reason he could stay in Ramshackle Dorm in the first place. He would probably not be living at Ramshackle Dorm as he needs supervision, so he would often spend the night at other dorms, under the supervision of either the dorm leaders or the dorm members. The creature would come back to Ramshackle Dorm everyday, hoping, wishing, needing you to be there. He had hoped for a miracle to see you. 

However, they all had two things in common, one, was neither one of them has smiled ever since you left. Two, they all missed you dearly and wished you came back.

The moon on that night was beautiful. Stretching out with all its radiance in a cloudless sky, a disc of light reflected its silver halo back to Earth. The stars seemed to fade away to make more room for it in the dark sky. The wind was just a refreshing breeze on that summer night and everything was finally calm and harmonious once the others had gone to bed.

There were only a few minutes left before the twelve strokes of midnight. Rook calmly dusted off his hat, no worries came to harden the features of his face. He had planned everything, from the slightest setback to the actions he had to take in a timed manner to make everything run smoothly.

The lock unlocked without complications. With a hunter’s pace, the man walked to your bed. His sharp gaze took everything into consideration: the position you were sleeping in, your breathing lifting your chest slightly and your hands pressing the sheet against your body. He didn’t need to pay attention to the surrounding furniture because every corner of the room had already been memorized long ago.

He had forced himself to learn patience. Every day, the desire to hide you from this world grew stronger, to hide you away from all those disgraceful glances that do not know how to appreciate your beauty. Only he could give you the treatment you deserve. Besides, the weight of freedom is too heavy for your frail arms. If he would let you stay with these people, you would become a tamed animal, you would wither. He couldn’t allow that
