Trix headcanon of the day #6

Medical impacts because of powers: I just think it is interesting if characters with magic powers are affected by them in other ways, so that is what this is

Icy: Colder average body temperature, always gets fevers if sick (like she doesn't even have to be that sick, anything small can trigger it), gets overheated easily (so she stays away from sweaters and thick fabrics regardless of the weather), but is more resistant to colder temperatures (especially if transformed into her witch form)

Darcy: her eyes are very sensitive to light, which is why she wears the tinted glasses (other people have also pointed this out), She has really good night vision, I like to think her vision is total garbage during the day but at night it is 20/20, once again when in witch form the light effects her less

Stormy: Because of her powers she has epilepsy (because as my favorite she has to suffer), It affected her more when she was younger and couldn't control her powers as well, however she can still have seizures triggered by suppressing her powers or repressing a strong urge to use them (lightrock was fun), Icy and Darcy are very overprotective of her which she kind of likes and is kind of embarrassed by

I keep imagining they were told to pose with the gloomix and Darcy just raises her arm slightly all "what more do you want from me?"

No effort was put in on her part and I think that's beautiful

Nonsense Theory Time

I always thought that Bloom's wings in her magic winx form looked like butterfly wings. It might be a bit of a stretch, but that's what I've always interpreted them to be.

Right before she gets her fairy form she (and the rest of the winx) perform a spell that restores the butterflies to those weird eggs that the specialists thought was a good gift idea.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the actions and spells of a fairy before they unlock their fairy form determines what it is going to look like. The Magic winx form isn't predetermined. The fairy's actions shape them.

Going deeper here you could think more about the other girl's magic winx forms. Maybe Flora primarily worked with spells relating to flowers, which is why her magic winx form is primarily flower themed even though she is the fairy of nature as a whole. Maybe Stella used some spells that had to do with the number three or she saved three of something and that is why her wings are in three segments. Tecna saved someone from a hang gliding accident I have nothing for the other girls.

Hair:

Icy: She has really thin hair (the ponytail is not helping) The ponytail also pulled her hairline back. However she will never get rid of the ponytail because she thinks it looks cool (pun intended)

Darcy: The best taken care of hair out of the group. Uses hair oils and other fancy stuff. However her hair does lose volume because of the length. She thinks Icy's hair looks ridiculous

Stormy: Her hair is not very well taken care of since as the only person with curly hair in their family she has never learned to take care of it. It's always a struggle with her.

Trix headcanon of the day #19

The trix do NOT share clothes with each other. For one, their styles are different enough that they don't really have any desire to. They actually respect each others belongings and don't go through each others things. They do really trust each other. If they did want to borrow something they would ask the other sister first and let them be the one to grab it. They may be evil and competitive, but they respect each other's space (side eye to my sister)

Hazbin Hotel Characters as Taylor Swift Songs

Backstory: at a con a while ago someone asked some of the members of the cast what Taylor Swift song they thought represented their character. They didn't have answers. However, I soon realized I had very strong opinions on this. I don't know if anyone cares but I do.

Charlie: Innocent (Speak Now)

Reason: The lyrics really line up with how Charlie views the world and the hotel's goals

Vaggie: The Smallest man Who Ever Lived (TTPD)

Reason: I don't really know. The anger in this song is sort of the same way I feel Vaggie feels anger (that makes no sense). I also kind of like the duality of Charlie's " Who you are is not what you did" with this songs "You are what you did"

Huskerdust: The Daily Double!

Cruel Summer (Lover)

Reason: Fun love song. Mentions both Angel and rolling dice in the chorus.

The Prophecy (TTPD)

Reason: Very sad love song. Mentions Eve in the first verse and then losing at cards AND poison in the second verse? I refuse to beleive that there is no Huskerdust connection.

Cherri Bomb: Forever Winter (Red)

Reason: The song is about worrying about a friend going through a hard time. It always reminds me of that part in the Addict video where Cherri is sitting by Angel as he cries inbetween flashes

Adam: The Man (Lover)

Reason: he is the kind of person the song is talking about

Lute: Guilty as Sin? (TTPD)

Reason: Idk. I feel like she needs to listen to this song.

Velvette: Vigilante Shit (Midnights)

Reason: I don't really have one. I like this song. I like this character. It is sort of a mean song that mentions fashion and busting crimes.

Vox: Glitch (Midnights)

Reason: It mentions glitching? It also sort of a break up and love song at the same time which I felt sort of worked with the whole Alastor thing.

Carmilla Carmine: Never Grow Up (Speak Now)

Reason: Very Motherly song and this is a very motherly character.

That is it. I know I left off some fan favorites. If I couldn't think of a song that felt right for the character I just left them off. Maybe after season two and more albums come out I can do an updated list.

Trix headcanon of the day #14

Dancing skills:

Icy: No one will ever know. She is too self conscious to try. She will act like she is too cool for it (pun intended) but in reality she doesn't want people watching her.

Darcy: Also will not dance, but she does know she is bad. I just think it would be really funny if she is completely in control emotionally and is a skilled manipulator, but if you put her on the dance floor she is an uncoordinated mess.

Stormy: Like in season 8 I think she is just a randomly good dancer. Like normal people I don't really consider seasons 5-8 cannon, but I just think this is really funny. Her being good at dance us really random, but it fits her well. She can destroy anyone at just dance.

I knew it! I knew it! I knew they would pull some “hogwarts is my true family” crap with Merula’s vow. Oh gee, what a shock Verucca’s overly ambiguous wording would result in something like this when it was most convenient for the plot!
