Darcy is by far my least favorite trix simply because growing up she was my sister's favorite trix. I want to write a fic where she is a jerk to Stormy for this reason alone.

Idk I just headcanon her as being the worst of the trix. Not only to the winx, but to her sisters as well. (But mostly Stormy because she is my favorite) I mean I can just see her as being good at noticing people's insecurities and playing to them.

I feel like this should be talked about more

I love Tulip, but I felt like this moment was so out of character for her. Seems more like something Merula would say/do 🤷🏼‍♀️

Icy: One of those perfumes that "smells" like bamboo, when it really smells like flowers. I can see. her liking a soft, delicate scent

Darcy: Lavender. It's a nice relaxing scent. Also purple. The plant being purple definitely played a part in making it her favorite

Stormy: The smell it makes when it's raining outside. (I'm low on creativity today, sue me) It is actually called petrichor, but Stormy would not know that

Happy Birthday to the trix! (technically) I mean, I only headcanon Stormy to be born on May 5th, but that is besides the point.

Since it is a special day, I thought I should stop procrastinating and edit and publish the next chapter of my fic, which is about the trix (but mostly Stormy).

Nonsense Theory Time

I always thought that Bloom's wings in her magic winx form looked like butterfly wings. It might be a bit of a stretch, but that's what I've always interpreted them to be.

Right before she gets her fairy form she (and the rest of the winx) perform a spell that restores the butterflies to those weird eggs that the specialists thought was a good gift idea.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the actions and spells of a fairy before they unlock their fairy form determines what it is going to look like. The Magic winx form isn't predetermined. The fairy's actions shape them.

Going deeper here you could think more about the other girl's magic winx forms. Maybe Flora primarily worked with spells relating to flowers, which is why her magic winx form is primarily flower themed even though she is the fairy of nature as a whole. Maybe Stella used some spells that had to do with the number three or she saved three of something and that is why her wings are in three segments. Tecna saved someone from a hang gliding accident I have nothing for the other girls.

Heights:

Icy: 5'4/162.5cm : She just seems average height to me. Of course she appears taller because of the hair and the heels

Darcy: 5'7/170cm : This one was hard because I imagine her as quite tall, but I don't imagine riven as super tall and there is no way season one Riven would date someone who isn't at least a couple inches shorter than him. He has too big of an ego.

Stormy: 5'0/ 152cm: Stormy is small. I just love the idea of her being short and angry. It's just too funny. If she is not the shortest in the reboot I will scream.

Medical impacts because of powers: I just think it is interesting if characters with magic powers are affected by them in other ways, so that is what this is

Icy: Colder average body temperature, always gets fevers if sick (like she doesn't even have to be that sick, anything small can trigger it), gets overheated easily (so she stays away from sweaters and thick fabrics regardless of the weather), but is more resistant to colder temperatures (especially if transformed into her witch form)

Darcy: her eyes are very sensitive to light, which is why she wears the tinted glasses (other people have also pointed this out), She has really good night vision, I like to think her vision is total garbage during the day but at night it is 20/20, once again when in witch form the light effects her less

Stormy: Because of her powers she has epilepsy (because as my favorite she has to suffer), It affected her more when she was younger and couldn't control her powers as well, however she can still have seizures triggered by suppressing her powers or repressing a strong urge to use them (lightrock was fun), Icy and Darcy are very overprotective of her which she kind of likes and is kind of embarrassed by

How their goals/lives would have changed without each other. Like if the other two never existed

Icy: For Icy not much would be different. She would still try to get the dragon flame and take over the dimension. I can see her being much more ruthless and bloodthirsty without her sisters. She would be more risky too, since she is only putting herself at risk. I don't think her story would really change until season 3, since Icy would not be competing for attention the same way.

Darcy: I don't think Darcy would be ambitious enough to try to take the dragon flame. I still think she would be manipulative, but she doesn't have any real motivation. She would still go after Riven, but eventually one of them would break it off and she would move on to the next man. This would create a cycle for her where she can't tell if she actually likes someone or if she just wants to manipulate them. Anyway. Angst.

Stormy: Without her sisters to guide her, I just imagine Stormy becoming a background character. She would still have anger issues, but I think without two strong personalities guiding her she would have a normal witch life. She wouldn't do anything remarkable, she would just be ordinary. She would be happier being normal.
