I'm not doing a rant or anything right now. Maybe later, but I have university work to do right now. I just want to say that he is genuinely such an interesting character and is philosophically brilliant. One of the things I dislike most about Fallout New Vegas fans is that he is characterized as a 'yapper'. The entire Lonesome Road DLC is a character exploration about Ulysses and the dichotomy of the battle of nations which New Vegas is centered on. Just such a brilliant character. He's probably my favorite beyond even the other characters I love such as Joshua Graham, Veronica, and Legate Lanius.
I too am in this episode.
Columbo be like: Can I ask a question?
Everyone: No, fuck off Colombo. I request a lawyer
And I would’ve gotten away with it to if it weren’t for your meddling polycule and your stupid aroace.
the way this was just the plot of amphibia twice over
You think that, "oh yeah, remember [INSERT MEDIA] from when you watched / played it when you were eight? It probably sucks now, right?" Then it just absolutely slaps like a coked up chimpanzee and you realize, "damn, good on me for having excellent taste when I was younger".
Me and a friend rewatched (it her first viewing but rewatch for me) Young Justice seasons 1-4. I didn't expect it to be this great but it still was incredible. Even seasons 3 and 4. I remember loving season 3 long ago (Briolet consumed my life for a sliver of time and is probably my first hardcore ship) but since then I've heard that people thought season 3 and 4 were terrible and ruined the show. I have to ask those people why they believe this, because both of us thought those seasons were incredible. I completely agree with tweenage me thinking season 3 was peak media because it was and is.
Then I go and rewatch the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy with the same friend and I'm thinking "well I like it due to nostalgia and post-irony". Then after watching I realize, "nah, this is actually good storytelling, I am enjoying this in a way completely removed from nostalgia". Meanwhile my friend as a first time viewer is seeing this and saying, "yeah, I have no idea why people were saying these are bad, these are actually pretty great".
It's just such a jubilant feeling to revisit media from your youth and it is just great, period. I honestly don't care if anyone says that the media I've mentioned is bad. Cringe is a dead concept and I'm going to vibe over in my corner enjoying things.
Anyways, do not feel embarrassed by media you liked as when younger unless you go revisit it and determine that it is actually bad. There is media I like less upon revisit. I no longer find Destiny as great as I did as a teenager, nor do I find Ninjago as peak as I did as kid. But sometimes young-you is not completely wrong. Just a less grown version of yourself so your tastes might be quite similar.
So kudos to little pre-trans me for liking some bomb media.
LORD, I CAN’T CHANGE! WON’T YOU FLY HIGH, FREE BIRD, YEAH!
this will get to the right people
so cute!
first day of Azura book club
Ok, like I absolutely support the sentiment and the advice is excellent and should be followed. But Columbo is like probably the only cop who exclusively takes on the 1% and elites who look down on him for being working class, and catches them and finds their guilt through their own hubris being their undoing rather than by force. I'm not a fan of cops as much as the next gal, but I feel if all police were like Detective Columbo people wouldn't hate the police as much.

I would end up probably being worse if anything. Adrias would be like "I'm going to conquer Earth" and I would go:
Its not really a cowardice thing, but honestly if I had no preconception of how bad Andrias was (seeing how he treated Amphibia in season 3) I would think he was a decent ruler (with only the context of his ruling of Newtopia in season 2) and probably better than the governments of Earth.
So if anything I think Marcy is less naive than me by immediately fighting against Andrias in True Colors.
The great thing about Marcy is that in her shoes I would be just as doomed because I would make the same choices.
girls uhhhhhhh. Definitely don't have a type for women in power armour. Yeah totally not. Also love the usage of artwork from the Hearts of Iron IV Old World Blues mod. Anyways, you get me with Sarah Lyons being a lesbian. Really putting the pride in Lyons Pride lmao.
figured i should show this off! cool little Sarah Lyons edit with her stuff from Fallout Shelter Online :>
oh and with a lesbian flag--duh.... cause, even if it aint stated, we all know shes gay, right?
I had worked on this piece for quite a while but I wasn't on Tumblr yet and my Reddit account has a pathetically small amount of karma so I never ended up being able to post. I had my friend post it on Reddit, but its otherwise it just sat in my hard-drive for the past few months. The concept is based on a fanfic that my friend @thelastemuhunter started on AO3 called Daughter of the Horde. She never finished it but I might borrow the concept because its interesting. But it's essentially a She-Ra Swap AU where Adora is in charge of the Horde and Catra is with the Princess Alliance.
Also, in case you are wondering what the First Ones writing at the bottom of the piece translates to, you can look for it via the online tutorial guide here. Fun lil activity alongside the fanart :3
Hope y'all like the piece!
To write Sasharcy you must become Sasharcy.
I have come to the realization that my blog is technically Sasharcy colors and this brings me joy.
