Oh! There are many Thraphosidae to go around! I'm guessing you perhaps live somewhere in Australia, yes? Or perhaps in a warmer country, outside of Europe? Trapdoor-spiders, like the atrax robustus for example, often live there! But those are also much more venomous and deadly than myself. Lots have been going on actually in the life outside of Tumblr. I was in Sweden for two and a half month without any Wi-fi and got my hip placed back in place properly.

It was out of place, due to a hiking accident seven years ago and the doctors (of course 🙄) didn't find a thing and didn't know what's wrong with me, when even I could feel a the bone of my hip sticking up against my skin and against my right groin bone.

Due to always only laying around and pumping myself full of strong painkillers (that didn't even help and were very bad for my heart) to at least cope with the daily pain a little better, I got scoliosis and my muscles in legs and back went pretty much bye-bye, which is why I'm still quite unstable and have to wear a corset (which is annoying).

I've also had water in my thighs. In fact, so much that I couldn't even bend my knees properly anymore. And I was pigion-toeing very heavily to the point where my toes would almost touch each other or I would stumble over them often, while I was only walking on the outer space of my feet because of the hip misplacement.

Thanks to the treatment though I can finally walk properly and I'm not in pain anymore. I also lost a lot of weight during treatment with luke-warm lemon water to manage to discharge the trabbed water in my thighs and around my stomach. So now I'm about half my former weight! I lost 18 inches around the stomach.

Since I hope to go to Sweden again someday, I'm currently trying to learn Swedish and it's going quite good so far!

Recent events also had it that I got to care for a carrion crow! I suspect that it's a female and called her Elischeba, or Elli for short. My Mom found her in the morning when she went out for work barely three weeks ago.

Right now Elli is undergoing a worm treatment. These worms are living and multiplying in her lungs and giving her trouble breating, so they got to go.

However, when I made my way to the vet the first time to deliver a poop sample to the vet with my E-scooter, I've spontanously decided to pick beef with the pavement and it went out 1:0 for the pavement (According to a friend of mine the scooter said aveda kedavra 😂). After my tumble to the ground I felt very dizzy, disoriented and very nausous. And my hearing went woosh for a few minutes.

Though the X-ray didn't show a thing and I suspect it's just simply heavily sprained. I still can't move or bend my wrist and it started bruising pretty badly. But I think that it'll be fine in the end.

Slender family hc's (Lore and facts in my Au)

Splendorman:

The oldest of all of the siblings

Raised by his father and mother….they did NOT do a very good job.

He was very tough to grow up with, he could switch up quickly and easily.

He was very manipulative as well, and is still manipulative even now, but has worked on it.

He’s very possessive of his siblings, but most of all Slenderman. When Slenderman met Zalgo, Slender had to hide his friendship because he knew what Splendor’s reaction would be (something terrible that I’ll talk about later)

The reason Splendor was so possessive of Slender was because of how gullible Slenderman was…he’d almost never question anything he was told to do by anyone older than him (this was just the way Slenders were raised to be)

Even though Splendor was pretty messed up, he still did his best to care for his siblings..even though his love was very…tough.

“Rules for thee but not for me” kind of guy…

He was a functional alcoholic. 

The smile and eyes on his face are fully functional. He is also known as an incomplete because he has no way of switching to a completely natural looking Slender or Human. He just stays looking exactly like how he looks now.

…If you haven’t guessed yet, he envies his other brother’s abilities to shift almost completely.

Offenderman:

Second oldest

Believe it or not, he was one of the most reasonable of the older half of the siblings

He was the one who did the most to try and get Splendor to ease up on Slenderman.

For work, Offenderman was a hitman. (This deeply affected his view on humans and the world)

He hated Splendorman’s drinking, but Offenderman fell into that addiction as well as smoking. 

He was doing his very best to provide for the family, and since he was the best at shifting from human to Slender form, he was the one who could work in the human world the best.

Tenderman:

Was the most reasonable of the older half of the brothers.

He was very patient and kind. He sort of took on a motherly role.

He typically took care of cooking, cleaning, and caring for the younger siblings.

Tenderman was the one who took care of Slenderman the most when he was sick. (He still helps him even now during flare ups)

Fun Fact: his favorite season is Winter.

He was the most respectful of boundaries

He didn’t have a very good relationship with Splendorman. He thought Splendorman was too cruel (which he was…)

When it came to making decisions he spoke to Offenderman about these things because he was the other most stable in the home.

Slenderman:

1st of the younger half of siblings

He’s one year older than Trenderman

Started working for Zalgo’s father when he was young

…Got attached to Zalgo

BETRAYAL

Boom, trust issues up the wazoo

Got Slender sickness.

Had to be taken care of for several years. It weakened his limbs as well so he had to use a cane.

Appreciated everything Trenderman did for him while he was sick.

Spent a lot more time with Surrenderman. Helped him learn to read during this time as well.

He also began to realize how much Splendor was manipulating the family, and how Splendor targeted him

He withdrew from Splendorman slowly…

He also got closer with Trenderman after Trenderman began to have trouble with his love life

Trenderman

Oh boy…oh boy oh boy oh boy….

REBELLION

He didn’t care if Splendor got mad, he’d do it anyway,

He snuck out, he snuck people in, he wore what he wanted, and he did what he wanted.

He and Slender DID NOT have a good relationship.

He always thought Slender was babied…(He was not in fact babied, he was VERY SICK and needed a lot of care)

Trenderman was a middle child. He wanted attention, he just almost never got it.

Tenderman always tried his best to spend time with him though, even though that wasn’t the attention Trenderman wanted.

Trenderman wanted attention from his father and mother….he…never got that.

So he started seeking that attention from other people. People he slept with and dated.

He got heartbroken a few too many times.

And he withdrew from people.

During this, that’s when he started to get closer with Slenderman. Because Slender understood what loneliness was like.

He also realized what Slender was going through, and saw him more as a brother than competition.

Trenderman’s love for clothing started when he was 12 btw, he worked as a tailor for several years and then sort of went off to do his own clothing line later on 

He was closest with Offenderman growing up.

Surrenderman

The youngest 

He was the closest to Slenderman of all the brothers, and is still with him today,

He has a stutter that he was born with (his is genetic, his human mother had a stutter and it was passed on to him)

Slender helped him with his stutter as well as making sure Surrender knew it wasn’t his fault and that he shouldn’t be ashamed of it. (Surrender was very ashamed of his stutter because of things Splendor and his father would say to him about it. While Splendor would try to “encourage” him to speak louder, it would also become toxic and demeaning, and Surrender’s father was very cruel, telling him to “learn to speak properly, or don’t speak at all”)

Surrenderman has a passion for cooking! He liked to watch Trenderman cook and bake.

Back Surrenderman being with Slenderman to this day, I mean he lives with Slenderman.

Surrenderman, while his stutter got better, he’s still just a very timid person in general. (this has nothing to do with his stutter, that’s just how he is as a person), and he was never able to find a place to live on his own, so now he lives with him.

Slender finds him the most tolerable of the brothers.

So I was in Sweden for two and a half month and it was great! Unfortunately I couldn't access my mobile data (we didn't have wifi) for some reason and whatever I tried to make ot work didn't change anything!

When I went into Tumblr though when I did have wifi (at someone else's place) I couldn't access my old account ( @shame-of-chimical ) anymore so I had to set up a new one.

But I'm happy to be back and I missed you guys (I really missed spending time with Irene, sitting on Jim's nice and warm hand and Sherlock's awesome deductions and scientific explanation about things, but also I missed talking to Harry and the banter between John and Sherlock for example!)

I mean between character and reader. It works by people describing themselves to you as detailed as possible and you tell them what character would fit them as a partner and why.

And if you want to go the extra mile, you can even add a (smaller) fanfic. But so far I've never seen anyone do that.

Not Halloween-y but could you write about the slender brothers purring around their s/o for the first time?

 Slender

Just come into his office when he’s in a good mood and start loving on him.

You’re bound to get a purr soon or later if the environment is right.

Some long and loving touches and slow kisses will prompt his purring.

You pause from the sudden static rumble from your boyfriend’s throat.

You’ve never heard it before, but by the way he leans into you, he seems to be enjoying himself.

Slender will lean his head into your side as you massage his temples as a deep, gravelly purr with a whisper of static rumbles from his throat.

You allow him to stay like that for a calming break, before being coaxed on his lap to retrieve even more purrs from your boyfriend.

Offender

As everyone knows, Offender is a very loving person.

He can usually create a short-lived purr on command, but there are times where he surprises himself before falling asleep while cradling his s/o.

It’d have to be a quiet night where Offender can get lost in his thoughts thinking about his s/o, and how much time and love he’s spent with them.

You’ll be shifted awake by a mass of muscle scooting closer to you, along with a gaining purr in volume.

Offender has a loud purr, so you won’t be getting much sleep tonight.

You were aware of his purring since he mentioned it in passing, but you couldn’t imagine it’d keep you awake.

But the lopsided smirk he’s sporting will never spark disgruntlement.

You just hold him closer and leave butterfly kisses along his cheeks in content.

Trender

It will take a while into the relationship for Trender to purr around his s/o.

He doesn’t purr often, and there’s rarely moments long enough for it to be prompted.

Everything has to be perfect to hear his cute raspy purr.

It was a long day at work, and he was dead on his feet from slaving over another ballgown for a rich party for rich people who seemed to all request his clothing at once.

Trender fell into your arms, and didn’t even bother to take his shoes off before hand.

All he knew that night was cuddling up to his s/o’s chest and taking a very long nap in their arms.

There isn’t much else to it besides tracing your touch along his skin and keeping Trender relaxed in your hold for a good nights sleep.

He wouldn’t even know he was purring until his s/o mentioned it the next morning.

Splendor

The first time hearing him purr would be the first time you cuddle..

Splendor purrs easily, and it can surface whenever he’s in close contact with you, whether it be a cuddle or a long hug.

And Splendor is a huge cuddle bug, he’ll hop onto any given chance to snuggle up under a blanket.

And just after a few minutes, Splendor was putty in your arms.

He’s just so peaceful and content and cute, your heart just can’t handle it.

Press a few kisses to his cheeks and he’ll be glowing.

The high-pitched sound surprised you at first, and before you could ask if he was alright, he buried his freckled cheeks into the crook of your neck.

Splendor was content, and even though your heart was racing, you kept still and enjoyed the solitude.

In case anyone claims I fell down the stairs, no I did not fall down the stairs. There is no evidence for that. I am much too agile and have too fast reflexes to do such a simple mistake as slip on the stairs.

Especially Masky, who’s an expert at not waking you up while moving you around the house.

Aka taking you away from Brian.

He’ll just pick you up, make intense eye contact with Hoodie and walk slowly out of the room with you in his arms.

Leaving you to wonder how you woke up in Tims’s arms when you went to bed under Vrian’s fur blanket.

Bascally it’s a game of capture the flag but it’s capture the s/o.

But they lowkey love each other.

Bc Brian will be caught sleeping on top of Tim on the couch.

And when you catch him he’ll get a little flustered and deny it.

They’ll also be your big and tol body guards when you go out in public together.

They’ll generally just fuck around with people who look at you for more than .3 seconds.

Aka scaring the FucK outta them.

And maybe tag-teaming punching them in the stomach and then running off to catch up with their s/o who’s still ordering food.  

They’ll eventually learn to work out their differences with each other.

One way or another.

You are quite right. Thankfully, our resident arachnid expert @talking-tarantula was able to catch that unfortunate blunder.

So, what is my opinion on people that have an unnatural obsession with insects and spiders? Whatever keeps you occupied and away from illegal activities, all the better. Better to have an obsession and make a decent career out of it, than to have no interests and drown in mediocrity.
