I had a thought, i really like the concepts and i was like, wait what if, and stay with me on this, what if the concept were premature versions of them, basically underdeveloped emotions. I imagine an emotion forms when riley feels something entirely knew for once and i imagine some of them don’t form correctly. These 4 came in early and weren’t fully developed so they couldn’t help pilot riley just yet. When puberty struck, that was when they finished developing, also how they knew they were ready to go up to headquarters. A silly hc of mine.

One of my main problems with Honey I'm Home and its lore is: We get these gorgeous designs, many of them diverse and interesting and fun to look at... and then they get sidelined by both fans and Ghost themself for yet another edgy white boy. I'm not saying that any of Ghost's stories are bad just because they have white protagonists, but it just seems so frequent that they direct the most attention to their white characters and make them either protagonists or the 'Cool Bad Guys'- (1/2)

That’s an interesting take, anon! I hate HIH for different reasons than yours, but hearing your perspective on it was definitely something I hadn’t considered about the lore and characters

And yeah I’m with you on the whole diversity thing. It’s like, take a look at all of GHOST’s characters pre-HIH:

And boy, now you’ve got me wondering how many fans of HIH saw this cast of characters and thought, “Wow! A lot of POC characters in one of GHOST’s new stories, finally!” only for literally most of the attention to be drawn to Norman and Charon

What would you do if your husband was a shitty bastard that cheats 25/8 and you can't sleep no matter what and some bitch shows up outta nowhere and gives you some sleep medicine thing and convinces you to join some criminal organization called pere noel then you give it out to your SHITTY husband and a bunch of random kids in some orphanage but they fucking DIE, so you fix the so called gift and some journalist lady is bugging you then you give out the gift and everyone fucking dies, then the journalist turns out to be some lady named elluka so you fucking drink the gift and fucking die and turns out you were a sentient doll the entire time
