I drew Brook Branch through the years! 🐿️🍓

Let me tell you about each version of her.

PTT Era - Brook (or back then she was called Brooklyn) was originally an Alvin and the Chipmunks parody. She would speak and sing in a shrill high pitched voice that annoyed all the Pizza Time Players. All except Chuck E. He was (for some reason) head over heels in love with her. He would treat her better than the other guest stars and even his own bandmates. His excuse was because “She’s different.”

Tux Era - Brook’s name got changed from Brooklyn to Brook and she got a lot of major changes to her design and personality. While Helen was “Mitzified,” Brook was made to be seen as more mature. She would be more mysterious with a bit of a tough tomboyish side to her. This is also when she started play the flute. Chuck E. loved her so much that he would do the biggest shows just so he could sing to her about how much he loves her. He didn’t even care if it would cause the power to go out or if it would make him go haywire (because ha ha animatronic 4th wall break). He’s very lovesick (as if you couldn’t already tell lol). Brook loves how silly he is and she loves how he’ll go great lengths to shout about how much he loves her from the rooftops.

Coach Era - Brook loses the mysterious side of her and is more tomboyish. She and Chuck E. used to be in love until he cheated on her with Astrid in the Galaxy 5000. All showtapes after that would have the two of them bickering mid-show. When Avenger era came around the Galaxy 5000 was retconed due to parents complaining that Chuck E. and Brook bickering was “too intense for children.”

Avenger Era - Brook is a lot more tough and sassy than her past versions. She tends to be a smartass just like Jasper. This is the era where they introduce her love for karate. She would also teach the band Japanese (she still does in Rockstar era). Chuck E. would get flustered very easily whenever Brook started flirting with him or whenever Jasper would tease him about liking her. In commercials he would crash while he was skateboarding because he would be gawking at Brook. She’s the only character that would sometimes accompany him during live shows and birthday shows. CEC Entertainment wanted them to be seen as their equivalent to Mickey and Minnie. She would even have her own Studio C stage where Chuck was on one side and Brook was on the other. The stage was made to look like two balconies over a city (which the city was actually just a mural with lights). The TV in the middle is made to look like it’s attached to the side of a blimp on the mural. Only a few locations would have this stage. When Rockstar came around, Brook’s animatronic got a new mask to match her design so kids wouldn’t get confused.

Did I spend too much time with coming up with lore for if Brook existed since PTT? …Yes. 😂

They’re finally here!! It’s my OCs new designs for my dream CEC cartoon and my take on Harmony Howlette.

Let’s talk about each character, shall we?

Brook Branch - You all already know a bit about her, but I never talked about her backstory. When she was really young her parents died in a car crash and she was sent to St. Marinara’s Orphanage. She was always very shy and she would have trouble being assertive. This made her an easy target for bullying. When she first came to the orphanage some kids started bullying her and even started throwing toys at her. That’s when Chuck E. stood up for her. They became very good friends. A few years later Chuck E. got adopted and then Brook got adopted the year after. Brook lived in Canada with her mom for a while until she joined MMBB. After Brook joined the band her and her mom moved next door to Chuck’s apartment. Brook got her tough persona from when Chuck first stood up for her. She always looked up to him and she admires his kindness and bravery. She doesn’t trust anyone except for Chuck E. but, PILOT SPOILER, he’ll show her that she can trust his friends.

Dottie Cupid - Dottie is a famous social media influencer. She was born and raised in China. When she grew up she moved to America and…well I don’t want to spoil her episode but she becomes the new tambourine player in MMBB. She’s also a fashion designer for the band. She’s very full of herself and she tends to get carried away with her snooty attitude, but her girlfriend, Bella, helps her at least try to control herself whenever Dottie gets carried away.

Shanelle Minks - Shanelle is an activist. She loves to raise awareness about issues with the environment and how we can help stop pollution. She used to live in New York. She plays the saxophone. She’s kind of a hippie. She’s very calm and she’s the only member of the band that’s calm during situations that would usually drive someone crazy. That’s why Helen Henny has taken a liking to her. She’s…pretty much the only member with a brain. Helen and Shanelle are both the moms of the group, but Shanelle is more calmer when things are getting tough.

Harmony Howlette - Harmony is an adventurous thrill seeker. She used to live in Texas until she joined the band. She plays the violin. She tends to be hot headed but not as much as Brook. She tends to get the band in more trouble. More than Chuck E. and Crusty. That’s because she loves danger. She doesn’t mind putting her life at risk when going on adventures.

Chett R. Cheese - Chett (AKA Chester Rain Cheese) is Chuck E’s long lost twin brother. He’s…pretty much the opposite of him. Think Pinkie Pie and Maude Pie. Chuck E. is lively, energetic, and fun, and Chett is boring, lifeless, and depressing. He’s very negative and he tends to be rude sometimes. He plays the keytar. He may be a negative person, but he does have a sweet side. Especially whenever his brother or his little sister need him. He loves his siblings dearly, even if he thinks that they’re too upbeat.

Mack N. Cheese - Mack (AKA Mackenzie Nostalgia Cheese) is Chuck E’s long lost little sister. She’s the first CEC OC that has a canon age. She’s 6 years old. The other OCs don’t have specific ages but they’re adults. Mack is extremely energetic. More energetic than her big brother, Chuck E. She is very curious about the world around her and she’s always full of questions. She loves to help. In fact, she helps out with Pasqually in his restaurant. She helps manage his orders, she helps with the dishes, and she helps with putting toppings on pizzas. She loves helping Pasqually so much that she wants to be a chef when she grows up.

I’m so happy with how they all turned out! I worked very hard on their designs. This took many months of art block lol. 😅

Another fun fact about me: I used to have a Banana Splits OC!!

I decided to redesign her. She was originally a mouse but I made her a rat in her new design. When I used to be in the Banana Splits fandom I shipped Snowflake with Fleegle. The thing is…she didn’t really have a personality. So I gave her one! For her personality I got heavily inspired by PTT era Chuck E. Cheese. She’s also very bossy. She bosses around everyone in the band even though Fleegle is the leader, not her.

I had a lot of fun coming up with her new design. Even though I’m not in the fandom anymore, I still wanted to redesign her. ^^

Fun fact about me: Back when I was 16 I was in the Banana Splits fandom. Friendly warning for y’all DO NOT join the Banana Splits fandom. It’s very toxic and filled with a bunch of p3d0s.

Anyways, remember that awful Banana Splits horror movie? Well if you haven’t, CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY. The movie is really bad. I’m too lazy to type out what the movie was about so I’ll just say this: FNAF. In the movie there’s this guy who’s kind of like William Afton but not really?? It’s hard to explain. In one part he shows an unfinished Banana Splits animatronic character named Hootie.

People in the fandom back in the day drew what she would’ve looked like if she was an actual character so I felt like doing the same just for fun. Thanks to Helen Henny I’ve gotten better at drawing anthropomorphic birds lmao. I used how Hootie looked in the movie, Poppy (SPOILER: the girl that goes insane and becomes Hootie at the end of the movie), some fan designs of Hootie, Daphne Blake, Judy Jetson, Josie and the Pussycats, and Tux era Helen Henny as inspiration for her design.

New designs for my dream CEC cartoon! :D

Okay so editing this part to say I’ve decided to change the title of the show again and the premise. The show will now be called Chuck E’s Awesome Adventure Machine and it’ll be about Chuck E. and his friends using his Awesome Adventure Machine to go on adventures in different places. The show will also teach kids problem solving….yes the premise is pretty much Mickey Mouse Clubhouse but they don’t interact with the audience that much and it’s more action packed. I’m excited for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse + okay? Also I just thought it would be a cool way to bring back the Awesome Adventure Machine

Here’s the list of characters that’ll be introduced in the first few episodes:

- Brook Branch

- Harmony Howlette

- Dottie Cupid

- Shanelle Minks

- Chett R. Cheese & Mack N. Cheese (they get introduced in the same episode)

Everyone except Mack will be joining the band. Mack will be helping Pasqually in his restaurant. Some side characters will appear in a few other episodes. Some are new characters and some are retired characters.

Also here are some ships that I’m making canon in my show 😉: Bruck E. (Chuck E. x Brook), Shelen (Helen x Shanelle), Crunch (Crusty x Munch), Jowlette (Jasper x Harmony), Selfiebloom (Dottie x Bella)

Now I’m going to ramble lmao. I know that Chuck E. and his friends are supposed to be real, but I like to headcanon that the band (except for Pasqually and Munch) are highly advanced robots that are very similar to humans. I’ve literally made all this lore about the similarities and differences animatronics have to humans. Because of Chuck E. And Friends I have changed a bit of the lore but a lot of it has stayed the same. I’m just obsessed with thinking that Chuck E. and all the other anthropomorphic animals in CEC are these super cool sentient robots. Yes I’m weird if you couldn’t tell already lol.

When people imagine the cec characters do they think of the animatronics first or the cartoon versions first...and when ppl do think of the cartoons do they think of them as completely organic or just really well advanced robots who LOOK organic but are completely mechanical inside...idk I have this thought when drawing MMBB alot LOL

No offense to the little boy in the video (obviously) but I absolutely hate that CEC supports Autism Speaks. I know they always have but still as an autistic CEC fan it disgusts me.

Plus (this is a little off topic but) I headcanon Chuck E. to be on the same part of the spectrum as me. I’m on the lower side of the spectrum. Since Autism Speaks tries to treat autism as a disease and make people fear autistic people like me… Does that mean CEC Entertainment is afraid of their own mascot?!? /j

Seriously though. Fuck Autism Speaks. I hope CEC stops supporting them one of these days. Though I fucking doubt it.
