- Complex Dissociative Disorders (DID/OSDD/Etc) have well known and studied ties to trauma, with complexity rising from prolonged and severe cases.
- Trauma is not part of diagnostic criteria to include those who cannot remember their trauma due to dissociation. Not because it isn't an important or known factor.
- Integration =/= Fusion, Integration is the lessening of dissociative barriers and a systems ability to function together. Fusion is the merging of parts.
- Final fusion and functional multiplicity are both viable end goals and up to the systems desires and needs. Integration is required for both of these.
- People are allowed to be affected positively AND negatively by their disorders and life experiences.
- People are also allowed to view their disorders in whatever way they desire
- It is not your job to police people because you think what they're doing is harmful for them.
- It is also not your job to tell people they have trauma that they just don't know about.
- Dissociation is a spectrum.
- Other disorders experience dissociative parts with less elaboration like those with DID/OSDD/Etc
- Westernized Tulpamancy and Tulpas as known today are not directly related to Tibetan Buddist Nirmanakaya or Sprul-pa. Westernized Tulpamancy comes from 20th century mystic explorers, who developed these ideas mostly independently.
- Vajrayana and Mahayana Buddhism are open and inclusive religions anyway, but what Tulpamancers practice is very different.
- There is a conversation to be had about the suppression of religious freedom that has affected Tibetan Buddhism, but it's still not a closed practice.

- Diagnosis is a privilege for some and isn't for others.
- Some people may not want or desire a diagnosis for many reasons. This does not make their problems any less than.
- Being medically recognized is just as valid as having a diagnosis.
- Yes, therapists can diagnose people with things. A title does not equal credentials.
- If a therapist cannot diagnose you due to their credentials or other factors but suspects something, they will refer you to another professional who can for evaluation.
- Some therapists will choose of their own volition not to diagnose patients for varying reasons.
- Self diagnosis and self suspecting isn't a bad thing. Research is always encouraged for accuracy of what you suspect.
- The resources people find through self diagnosis even if not the right thing to suspect can be helpful for someone's situation.
- Reiterating here again that being wrong isn't faking, and that being wrong isn't a bad thing.
- Being able to help yourself cope is a good thing.
- Recognizing your symptoms if you intend to speak to a professional is also a good thing.

HAHAHA, yeah, still going strong. been working up the courage to confess n such, trying to still figure out if they like me back and all things. also wanting to make sure weāre both ready for a relationship because thatās super important!
trying my best to learn about them and both pros and cons will come along with them and how i can help resolve things or support them in either case! because hey, we arenāt pissed to be friends for awhile longer, getting to know them a bit more before finally coming to the conclusion whether itās just infatuation or genuine love is always great! :)

ill answer this one for our collective ...... our stress, exhaustion, and pain has decreased drastically due to our system. we're all here for each other, both on our good, and our bad days. we're here to listen to each other when no one outside will, and we are here to spread positivity and love throughout our system and take the brunt of the blow for each other so we can keep on going. we do playfully banter a TON, but in all seriousness, we genuinely all keep each other alive.

We'll go first. If it wasn't for our system and the ability to relieve each other from fronting there's no fucking way we'd be half as functional as we currently are with the excruciating level of pain we're in. So god damn thankful I don't have to do this bullshit alone.
one of the most important things about dissociative identity disorder and generally being a system that i wish people would understand is that it truly isnāt as cut and dry as it may seem for member count.
youāll see people who say they have āsix altersā and then immediately assume itās six fully fleshed out equal individuals with no confusion or fuzziness regarding identity. thatās simply not true in a majority of cases, as i have seen.
most systems still VERY much deal with confusion regarding potential splits, go through dissociative episodes where theyāre unsure of who they are, sometimes feel no attachment towards any identities, feel like they might have split and then suddenly that person is gone, unsure if alters they havenāt heard from often have gone dormant, not sure how to react when alters do come out of dormancy, etc.
itās not a fun feeling and itās genuinely unfair in certain situations to force systems to list every single alter to you with full certainty, as if it will never change. because it will. for so many different reasons, systems will grow, they will shrink, they will fuse, they will develop. you canāt expect the person with the dissociative disorder and lack of core identity to be able to keep up a perfected list of forever, itās simply impossible. you may have alters who stick with you, but that doesnāt mean changes wonāt happen.
and systems who may be reading this ā please donāt feel bad. you are not a hassle, you are not a headache, and you are not an inconvenience for simply coping with something like this. itās out of your control and the only thing you can do is continue to cope to find ways to help yourself retrain from these reactions. please donāt allow yourself to be harmed by others who donāt understand what you are going through. there are people who will accept and love you for who you are, all of you.
