Characters: Inazuma women x gn!reader (seperate)
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: Wanted to write something for Heizou, ended up writing all female Inazuma characters, but no Heizou instead. Sometimes my genius is… it’s almost frightening.
Call me sleep deprived, because I am-... sleep deprived.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Ayaka
Ayaka never had many people close to her, so simply having you around her was enough to make her day seem better in retrospect, that being said, there were a lot of things she’d like to try with you. She had always been a fan of the arts, and while writing poetry, learning dances and playing music alone already brought her joy, she always wondered how it would be to share her interests with others.
Whenever neither of you were busy, you’d meet up and write poems together, and while you weren’t exactly confident in your writing at the beginning, Ayaka did an excellent job at easing you in, all the while giving you small tips for how to improve yourself.
“This is even better than the last one, although you might want to try structure it like this next time. From my experience, it makes the poem sound smoother”, she recommended before showing you her piece of paper, all the while wearing a small, but genuine smile, reflecting how excited she felt about having someone to share her experience in writing with.
Kujou Sara
While there were many things Sara did outside of work, none of them could compare when it came to the time, she’d spend trying to better her skills with the bow. So, when you asked her if she’d have time to teach it to you, she was quick to accept. And while her behaviour during your lessons often resembled how she’d teach archery to her soldiers, she’d feel much prouder and happier whenever she noticed you improving. Was it because you were much closer to her than her soldiers or just because of your terrible skill in the beginning.
When you were taking aim, Sara quickly positioned herself behind you, only to stop you before you could let the arrow loose, grabbing the arm with which you held the bow before adjusting its angle.
“Hold the bow like this or the bowstring might hit your forearm”, she stated, only for you to nod, aim once more and let the bowstring go, and while you were far from hitting the bullseye, you, for the first time, didn’t miss, causing you to excitedly turn to Sara, only to be greeted by a barely visible smile and a look of approval.
Kuki Shinobu
There was no-one in the whole of Inazuma whose amount of certificates could rival Shinobu’s. After all, while some would collect coins or other things as a hobby, she seemed to do the same with degrees, seemingly never going a long time between taking exams for different certificates. All of that made it fair to say that there probably wasn’t a better person to ask for help than her, and while she’d probably be able to explain everything from accounting to architecture to you, the two of you often found yourself cooking together, with her telling you how to make different dishes while you followed her commands.
Not only was it a easy enough thing to learn to hold a conversation while doing so, but you’d also automatically be rewarded with something to eat if you succeeded.
“Okay, next you take the roasted lavender melon and cut it in pieces”, Shinobu stated, only for both of you to realise that the purple fruit was nowhere to be seen. “Wait. You didn’t leave it over the fire, did you?”, she questioned, the answer to her question coming moments later as you began smelling something burned, causing you to rush over and try your best at damage control.
Ei
There weren’t exactly things Ei would call “her hobbies”, having spent the last 500 years in her Plane of Euthymia, and while training her fighting skills was something she liked doing before she sealed herself away, she knew well enough that training with you would only result in disaster, no matter how good you were. And so, she’d simply let you take the lead, participating in whatever activities you wanted the two of you to do.
Most of the time, the two of you would take small trips around Inazuma, no matter if it was inside the city, with you looking through the different stores as you showed her whatever new inventions or products made their way into the nation, or outside of it, taking in the beautiful nature that Ei hadn’t realised she missed so much.
“How does it taste?”, you asked Ei as she took a sip of the new drink being sold at your favourite shop, not having to wait long for a response, as Ei made a small nod before responding.
“Delicious, I can’t remember this being sold the last time we were here, is it new?”
“Mhm, it’s a recipe from a Mondstadt, they call it Barbatos’ tears of joy”, you stated, only for Ei to slightly cringe at the mention of the Anemo archon before acting as if nothing happened before you had the chance to say something.
“Good to know, let’s visit the next store.”
Kokomi
Kokomi, being the divine priestess of Watatsumi Island, had a lot of things to do during her day, was it managing the Island, or helping the residents whenever they asked her for help. So, whenever she was done with work, she’d simply find a quiet place to read or rest in. And while relaxing alone was a good way to regain her energy points, when you were with her, she felt herself recharge even more efficiently than alone.
And while it was enough for you to just sit in the same room as her and silently do things on your own, there would be times during which Kokomi would feel too tired to read on her own, only for you to take her book and read it out loud for her. And while you didn’t exactly understand tactics and strategies for warfare, causing you to have little idea what you were reciting, it nevertheless worked.
“Are you feeling better now?”, you asked while closing the book, having finally finished it, glancing over to Kokomi, slumped over her desk, obviously having been exhausted by work, only for her to silently hum in response.
“Much better, just give me… 3 more minutes”, she mumbled out loud before growing silent again. And while it took you some time to realise that she had fallen asleep, you decided not to wake her, remaining on your seat to make sure nothing happened to her, sure that she’d wake up after a while.
She woke up several hours later
Yae Miko
While Yae loved to tease you, your reactions being even more amusing to her than others, not every moment the two of you spent together would be filled with her teasing. There were many occasions the two of you would just silently sit in the same room while reading whatever novels her publishing house was about to release, the comfortable silence being enough to make you forget about Yae’s other favourite activity besides reading.
Most of the times, that’d be the moment in which she struck, your reaction being enough to instantly improve her mood, no matter what genre she was reading, only to instantly shift her focus back to her novel, continuing to read as if nothing happened.
“That’s the novel everybody is talking about isn’t it?”, Yae’s voice rang out without warning, causing you to quickly look at her before nodding your head with a small smile, only for it to vanish once you saw her smug expression. “I heard it has a Kitsune in it. Is there something you want to tell me?”, she asked in her usual teasing voice, and while you ought to have grown accustomed to it by now, you still felt you face heat up, only for your thoughts to be disrupted by her laugh.
Yoimiya
Hanging out with Yoimiya always made for a day full of surprises, the energetic girl knowing a plethora of fun ways to spend time together, from just telling each other stories to playing with the many children she called her friends or testing out firework together. All in all, there wasn’t any activity the two of you did more frequently than others, that was with one exception.
Whenever a festival took place, you’d go. That was something like an unspoken rule between the two of you. No matter how much work both of you had to do first, you’d finish it and attend the festival, no matter how small.
“Wait, you are already done?”, Yoimiya asked while sticking her head out of her door, having summoned by you knocking on her door, and while she seemed to be in a rush, unfortunately for her, you had no idea what she was talking about.
“Done with what? I just thought we could hang out today”, you questioned in return, only for her to tell you to wait for a moment before vanishing back into her home, returning with a calendar. The entire following week being filled with different smaller festivals, suddenly making you realise what she had meant.
“Now that I think about it, there’s work left for me to finish, good luck!”, you said your goodbye before quickly making your way home.

It wouldn't take long for him to notice your dreamy stare.
Would literally stop talking mid sentence as soon as he notices you staring, just to see how long it would take you to notice he was no longer saying anything.
Once you realized, he would just smirk and throw you a knowing glance.
He can't help himself, he needs to throw a remark and he would enjoy it greatly that he is making you even more flustered.
Despite him looking like he is entirely unaffected by your gawking, on the inside you would make him go crazy, his heart would beat so loud he is scared you would be able to hear it.
He hummed, snapping you out of your trance, making you realize that you had been staring at his lips for the entire time he had been talking. Wait? When did he stop talking? Oh, Archons. You felt the blood rush to your face and wanted to cover your eyes in embarrassment, but that would be admitting that you, in fact, had been staring at Ayato's way too soft and inviting looking lips while you wondered what they would feel like against yours.
"Care to share with me what you were so entranced by on my face?"
"... I-I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"Oh, so you admit that you were staring at my lips?"
"I… no, I–." You were desperately ringing for words and all you could manage to get out was a stammered word salad - much to the amusement of the man in front of you.
He let out a soft chuckle and he trained his lilac eyes on yours before he suddenly took your hand into his, brushing over the back of your palm with his thumb. You thought your heart was about to jump out of your chest any second, which seemed to be very much visible on your face as well, because Ayato's smirk grew even wider.
"No need to be so nervous, I was just testing you."
"W-what were you–?"
He quickly pulled you forward and pressed his lips onto yours, one of his gloved hands finding its way to your cheek, cupping it gently.
"Now that we finally got around to spending time together, don’t you perhaps think it’s being wasted by just staring?"
Oh Archons, you have no idea what you’ve gotten yourself into…
He would be an absolute tease about it (because of course he would be).
Would it stroke his ego if the most beautiful person in all of Teyvat stared at his lips this way? One hundred percent.
If you thought you’d seen his shit-eating grin before, better reconsider that because the grin he would have on his face now, was wider than it had ever been.
Prepare to be flustered because that man will stare right back at you and not even falter for a second under your gaze.
You stood in front of his desk as he flicked through the pages on the clipboard you just brought over to him. You closely watched the way his eyes scanned over the paper with a bored expression, finding your eyes wandering from his eyes a bit further down to his lips.
You found yourself drifting off, fantasizing about what it would feel like to press your own lips against his. You were so lost in thought, you missed the way he kept looking up at you out of the corner of his eyes with a smug smile slowly forming on his face, before getting up from his chair and getting over to where you were standing.
“Look at you!”, he took your face in between his index finger and thumb and pulled it up in a way that you were forced to look into his eyes. “Staring at my lips like you have a chance in hell to kiss me, hm?”
“I-I’m sorry, I must’ve…”, you rung for words as he kept pinning you down with his intense ocean blue eyes, the conceited grin on his face becoming wider with every stammer that forced itself out of your throat. You hoped he didn’t feel how your cheeks had started to burn under his gloved hands and how fast your heart had started to hammer against your chest.
“What if I told you though, that you do have a chance?”
Oh Archons, this man would be the death of you.
Would be the one to keep talking even if he notices that you’re staring.
Don’t be fooled though, he just tries to keep it cool but he’d eventually break under your gaze.
His face would turn a flaming red and become almost indistinguishable from the color of his locks and he would start to stammer and avoid eye contact.
Would probably inquire whether he had something in his face making you aware of the fact that you had been staring, flustering you all the same in return.
You would shake your head and attempt to hide your face while an awkward silence settled between you two.
He would secretly wish for you to look at his lips like that more often.
Sitting at the bar at the Angel’s Share you caught yourself being entranced by the lips of the man behind the bar who was focused on wiping some of the glasses dry, while striking a conversation with you.
As soon as he looked up from the counter you noticed a small startle in his composure before he kept talking again, earning nothing but a zoned out hum or nod from you in response as you were too busy with the way his lips basically danced a slow rhythm as he was speaking.
“Sorry. I-Is there anything between my teeth… or on my face?”, he stammered suddenly, interrupting whatever he had been talking about prior to that. Not that you would actually remember what it was about, embarrassingly so, because you knew exactly why he was asking.
“No, no, everything is fine.”, you replied awkwardly to which he nodded before quickly turning around, busying himself with cleaning up the perfectly arranged and spotless shelf behind him. You had been too obvious, hadn’t you?
“Say…”, he suddenly turned around again with a bright pink blush across his cheeks. “Are you free tomorrow night?”
What gave you the idea that staring at his lips would either go unnoticed or end well?
That man basically has a sixth sense, of course he would notice straight away.
Would probably let you stare for a bit longer and pretend he doesn’t see you looking at his lips so blatantly obvious
He absolutely wouldn’t be able to hold back the smug grin on his face for too long.
Brace yourself for teasing, because you sure won’t hear the end of it.
As you sat at your desk at the Police Station you couldn’t help but steal sneaky glances over to your colleague and his handsome features every now and then. Especially his lips magically kept pulling you back to them and you frequently began drawing imaginary patterns over them with your eyes and were unable to take them off.
Heizou suddenly piled up some of the files he had been working on the entire day, grabbed them and walked over to your desk with a confident smirk on his face that could mean nothing good.
“Well, my favorite colleague, care to lend me a hand with a case I’ve been struggling to solve?”
“Excuse me?”
Him? Struggling with a case? Frankly said, you found that almost impossible to believe so you just questioningly raised an eyebrow at him.
As if prompted, he pulled out the chair in front of your desk and sat down, putting the files on your desk, too. But much to your surprise he didn’t open them but instead pushed them aside and leaned in closer to you over your desk, intently staring at your face, the smug grin never faltering.
“You heard that right and you’re the only one who can solve it.”
You stared back at him as if he had lost his mind. He had never asked for help with a case, neither directly nor indirectly. As if spurred on by your confusion his grin grew even wider and you started getting more nervous by the minute.
“So… there is someone who keeps staring at my lips recently in a not so sneaky way. Do you think they want to kiss me or am I on the wrong track here?”
Oh god.
He would catch you staring pretty quickly
A smug grin would be painted on his face along with a flirty glint in his eye.
Similarly to Childe he would be a total tease about it - so better prepare for some remarks thrown your way.
Although he would just use it as a facade to play down and hide his own flusteredness.
He would most certainly be thinking about your longing stare for quite some time after, wondering what your lips would feel like when joined with his.
You and Kaeya sat together at the Tavern after work over some wine and snacks. While he was talking you couldn’t help but start scanning his handsome features. The way his soft hair fell across his forehead and shoulder and the way his frost blue eye wandered around the dimly lit tavern and the way his lips softly wrapped around the rim of his wineglass every so often.
As you kept looking at his lips you soon noticed that they had formed into a sly smile. Looking up you saw that he had his eye trained on you. Crap, had he caught you staring?
“Why, hello there, sweetheart. What are you looking at?.”, he purred and playfully bit his lip.
“Oh archons, stop it?!”, you whined as you clasped your hands over your face in an attempt to hide..
You were ready to sink into the ground in embarrassment right then and there, and it got worse when you heard him put his glass down onto the table and felt his hands pull yours off your face again so he could get a look at your flustered expression.
A pleased grin was painted on his face as he moved so close to yours you could smell the wine he had been drinking on his breath and his lips were barely a hair’s breadth away from yours.
“Well if you’re so intent on staring at me like that, you have to live with the consequences, don’t you think?”
When he catches you staring he would smile back at you, a light pink dusting his cheeks.
He would be so soft and nice about it, softly brushing over the back of your palm to divert your attention his way even more.
Prepare to be showered with words of affection and compliments in return.
By far the most romantic about it out of the bunch.
Would be the type to write poetry about the moment and dwell on the moment for quite a while.
You and Kazuha were sitting together near the harbor in Liyue, on a big stone bank just outside the city. Kazuha was leaning back with his eyes closed and propping himself up with his hands. The mild ocean breeze softly carded through his white locks and his lips were formed into a soft smile. You actually would have liked to kiss them right then and there and the urge to reach your hand out to brush over them became stronger with every passing second.
He turned his head over to you and fixated his crimson colored eyes on yours before throwing you the most beautiful smile you had ever seen.
He grabbed your hand to trace small circles over the back of it with his thumb making your whole body feel tingly and your heart started racing.
"Can you believe we've known each other for almost our entire lives... and yet we've never shared a kiss.", he suddenly remarked, a rosy blush playing around his cheeks. "... we can change that now, if you want."
You could feel how the heartbeat in your chest became more erratic at his words and your face started heating up.
"Are you sure? I don't want you to feel–", you began to protest, but you didn't even get to finish your sentence before you could feel a pair of soft lips be tenderly pressed onto yours.
"You're incredible!", he whispered before uniting your lips once more.
His words engulfed all your senses and you gripped his shirt in a futile attempt to keep you stable as the sensation of his lips made you melt like candle wax in the sun. And if you were honest, you were sure this must be what heaven felt like.
He would become so flustered once he notices and would totally forget what he was saying while averting your gaze. Who would have thought outgoing and cheerful Thoma could be so shy?
He would desperately try to keep his cool but would outright just fail and become beet red in the face.
Definitely would stammer and start nibbling on the mochi in his hand - anything to keep his lips out of your line of sight and his thoughts away from the way you just looked at them.
Should he ask you what you were looking at? Did you want to kiss him? No, no, he must be seeing things.
When you noticed his weird behavior you realized what you were doing and in turn felt the blood rush to your face as well.
You and Thoma sat in the patio of the Kamisato estate, eating snacks all while you went through the organization lists for some of the upcoming festivities the Yashiro Commission was assigned to host.
There was but one problem, you just couldn’t focus on the work in front of you because you repeatedly found your focus shift to the lips of the man before you. The way they moved when he talked, the way he quirked the corner of his mouth up or the way he pressed his pen against them when he was thinking about something.
Lost in scanning his features you completely missed the moment Thoma addressed a question to you.
“Are you still listening?”
“Hm?”, you snapped out of your trance, flicking your eyes up to meet his again.
He didn’t miss the shift in the direction of your gaze and instinctively reached his hand out to his lips before it started to dawn on him where you had been staring the entire time. The thought instantly made him blush violently.
He hastily grabbed one of the mochi lying on the plate in front of him on the table before shoving it in his mouth in a futile attempt to make the tingling feeling on his lips and in the pit of his stomach go away. How was he supposed to concentrate on his work now?
“U-Uhm… w-well. Do we need some more pa-paper lanterns? What do you think–”
By far the one that gets flustered the most when he catches you staring at his lips.
Would quickly turn his face to the other side to escape your gaze and his cheeks would glow in a bright pink.
Would seem rather annoyed, but don’t take it the wrong way - his heart is threatening to jump out of his chest any second now.
No matter how hard he tries to shake it off, he has to admit that the way you looked at his lips felt rather nice.
Please stop him from teleporting away because he is just too flustered.
“Ahem…”
The man in front of you clearing his throat pulled you out of your thoughts and you flicked your gaze from his lips back up to his eyes. You were met with an undecipherable but stern expression of the adeptus that made your heart run wild time and time again.
“Would you stop that?”, Xiao asked in an almost demanding tone.
“What?”, you asked, genuinely confused at first but it soon dawned on you. You had been staring again, but this time it wasn’t you who caught and could reprimand yourself but instead it was him who did so.
“Did no one teach you that staring at others is rude?”
“I’m sorry. I-I didn't... I couldn’t help it–”
“Tch…”
He scoffed and turned his face away from you abruptly, but it wasn’t fast enough for you to miss the dust of pink that was starting to bloom across his cheeks.
No matter how hard he tried to seem cold and distanced, around you he never quite managed.
He would mistake it at first and would think you're just pratically glued to his lips because you find his storytelling so enthralling.
But when he notices the longing glint in your eyes he immediately knows it's something else that has you so captivated.
And it has surely been a while since he welcomed the feeling of someone staring at his lips this way that much.
And especially considering it was you, he would be genuinely flattered.
He indulges in the thought of what it would feel like to kiss you for a while, although he would not let it show on his face.
Might throw an underhanded remark your way.
“It was then said that Rex Lapis allowed the Lord of Geovishaps to roam the land freely until his mind fell victim to corruption and he began attacking those he had once sworn to protect, leading Rex Lapis to having to seal him back underground.”
Zhongli picked up his teacup and blew the rising steam off it before taking a sip. You didn’t miss the way his lips curled around the corner of his cup and how the tea dampened them before the corners of his lips turned upward in a content smile.
He continued retelling his story where he left off but your eyes and thoughts were trained on something else instead. You were so entranced by the way his lips moved while he spoke that you at first didn’t notice that he had stopped midway, looking at you curiously with a sleek smile playing around his mouth.
“Am I perhaps boring you?”, he inquired.
“N-no, not at all, it’s just – I was distracted.”, you stammered, feeling the blood rush to your cheeks.
“Hmm, I see. Do you want me to continue or are you perhaps more inclined to keep being entertained by whatever thoughts are on your mind instead?”
You could see the right corner of his mouth twitch upwards ever so slightly into a soft smile while he trained his gaze on your face, a fond and adoring expression flaring up behind his amber irises.

Hello and congrats for your 800 followers !
Can I have a "Wait, you think I am cute ?" With Shinobu please ?
Characters: Kuki Shinobu x gn!reader
Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: I like Shinobu, some people may complain about how she does no damage, but she heals both my characters and my heart well enough /hj
Anyway, thanks for the congratulations and I hope you enjoy!
Shinobu
Kuki Shinobu wore a mask, that fact seemed as natural to you as the sun rising in the morning and being replaced by the moon at night. And while it was obvious that there had been a time she ran around without one, you hadn’t been fortunate enough to know her at that point, first meeting her long after she joined the Arataki gang. But even though you were interested, you decided not to pry further when it came to what was underneath it, deciding that you’d only get to out when she felt comfortable enough to show you herself.
When the door behind last person asking counsel concerning one of Shinobu’s many skills left her office, she didn’t waste a single moment to stand up, removing her mask as she stretched herself and let out a yawn, looking out of the window to see that the sun was already beginning to disappear behind the horizon, silently thanking fate for not forcing her to bail her idiot colleagues out of jail for once. Who knows, maybe, if she was lucky, she’d get blessed with another uneventful day tomorrow. But just as she was about to make one last stretch, the door to her office flew open within an instant, and with it, you barged in, leaving her no time to put on her mask again before your eyes landed on her.
“Shinobu! You won’t believe it, there’s this new dish called pizza being sold and it's... really great”, your enthusiasm and voice dwindled within an instance once you realised what you were seeing, only for her to quickly put an end to it by covering her mouth up again. You had been told before not to try find out what was behind her mask, causing your imagination to come up with a whole mountain of ideas what she could have been trying to hide from the world, but you certainly didn’t imagine something so… normal. And while her mouth wasn’t that noteworthy, her panicked reaction was the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. Not like you’d tell her that, the last thing you wanted to do was risk provoking her, especially after having heard all of the reports of the Arataki-gang’s members about how scary she was when angered. Only an idiot would have opened their mou-
“Holy-, you are so cute.” And never mind, while your brain might have had some common sense, the same could not be said about your mouth, and before you realised it, you suddenly found yourself fearing for your life.
But Shinobu’s outburst never came, and when you finally opened your eyes again, having shut them tight during your—what you assumed at the time—last prayer, you were greeted by a look of complete bafflement.
“Wait, you think I’m cute?”, she eventually asked, not even trying to hide her confusion. Shinobu had been called a lot of things in her life: cool, scary, the shrine maiden that never smiles, but cute was a new one.
“Yes!- No!- Maybe…?”, you blurted out, your brain being too much in panic-modus to realise what you were saying, only for you to quickly take a deep bow before rushing to the door.
“I’m sorry, I should have knocked first. I swear I won’t tell a soul about what I saw”, you apologised before hurrying out of the door, letting out a sigh of relief, being happy to not have angered her too much, while praying she would forgive you until the next time you met.
On the opposite side of the door, you left Shinobu wondering about what had just happened, and while it took her a few moments to process what you had said, when she was done, she took off her mask once again before taking one last look out of the window, only to see a reflection of herself in the glass… smiling. After a bit of hesitation, she began tracing her mouth with her finger, confirming that what she saw was the truth, causing her to let out one last sigh before once again collapsing into her chair, silently staring at the ceiling.
talking about how much they love you
feat. Xiao, Tighnari, Ayato, Diluc
XIAO
It wasn’t a normal occurrence for Xiao to be at Third-Round Knockout- or at any public establishment. But when it was Zhongli who graciously extended the invitation for some tea, how could Xiao decline?
“So how are you and Y/n,” Zhongli asks, cutting straight to the point. He reaches for the teapot, pouring a cup of tea for his companion. Xiao graciously accepts the cup, though he leaves it untouched.

confessions (part two)

part one
it’s very obvious that there is something going on with KAZUHA. he seems more relaxed than he usually is, always seeming like he was in a daze. if anyone were to come up to him and strike a conversation, it was almost as though you were snapping him out of a daydream. there was always this tiny smile on his face, cheeks visibly pink. in his free time, kazuha’s writing heartfelt poems about you, every word he can’t say out loud written on paper. he later decides—this is the perfect way to confess to you. compiling all the poems he’s made into one pile and carefully tying string around the small pile of papers to keep it together, kazuha hopes that you could sense each feeling between the lines.
SCARAMOUCHE has never despised anyone so much in his life. he hated how you made him feel this way, like there were butterflies in his stomach or this awkward warmth in his chest that bloomed every time you were around. he hated how you made him feel vulnerable, like his walls were finally coming down and there was finally someone in his life he can open up to. he hated how you were just so perfect, with your stupidly perfect hair and stupidly perfect eyes. and don’t even get him started with your smile. scaramouche would rather die than admit his attraction towards you, but all of this longing he’d felt wasn’t about to go to waste. it was now or never, he tells himself. as he’s coming up to you, you can only ask yourself what seemed so urgent with the way he was walking in his stride, hands balled into fists, lips pursed in a thin line, and face red. quickly, he ushered you to the side, stammering through his confession: “y/n…i…i really, really like you. in a way that’s more than what we have right now. i really need you to tell me if you feel the same way.”
THOMA cannot wrap his head around the concept of feelings. what do you even do in this situation, he’d ask himself. it’s clear that he has something for you, because any time someone would mention your name, his face will immediately turn bright red and he’d start stuttering as he spoke. “what? y-y/n? what do you mean, haha…ha…” he confides in the kamisato siblings with these things, and they both tell him the same thing: why not write a letter of confession? so, he does, spending nearly the entire night trying to write The Perfect Letter. the next day, with his letter sealed in an envelope, thoma meets you under a large sakura tree, handing you the letter and praying to the archons that this’ll come out in his favor.
ITTO cannot keep feelings subtle even if his life depended on it. he’s very open with how he feels about you, and it’s pretty much heard around inazuma at this point. with how it’s basically become a known thing now, it eventually reached back to you, but you enjoyed seeing how oblivious itto can be. you would give him hints to show your interest, like making flirtatious comments or holding eye contact to the point where itto would start getting flustered and his gaze would falter. still, he had no clue and you were just waiting patiently for him, wanting to hear his feelings come out from his own mouth and not just from someone in inazuma who happened to hear. honestly, you couldn’t help but melt and laugh when he finally does, getting the entire arataki gang to individually hold up signs that formed a short sentence: | PLEASE | DATE | ME? | → | with itto standing by the arrow, a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a special onikabuto he thought you’d especially like.
AYATO gets teased endlessly by his sister as he brought up how you made him feel a particular way that he didn’t quite understand. she still gives him sisterly advice, to just go for it and court you like how he’d been taught growing up. but, the first step to that was taking you out—and ayato didn’t know how to do that. no one has ever made him feel like this before, and he was afraid of messing up everything somehow. one way or another, he has to do it. he settles on doing it at night, with the moonlight casting over inazuma and when the ambience feels calmer, when it’s more quiet and it feels like the two of you are the only ones in the world. gingerly, ayato takes your hands into his, holding them as he looked down into your eyes, saying, “y/n…you make me feel things i’ve never felt before, and you’re so…special to me. if i may, i would really love to take you on a date.”
DAINSLEIF doesn’t waste his time dwelling and doubting his feelings: he’s certain with what he feels about you and he has to tell you, because life is so short and you can only do so many things before it’s over. and with years of wandering and feeling so alone, dain’s finally found someone that’s made him feel at home, like he can forget about every terrible thing that’s happened in his past. although he’s sure, he’s nervous when he’s actually standing in front of you, staring into your eyes where it’s unclear if you’re about to accept or deny his feelings. dain clears his head swallows back the anxiety. “y/n, you’re…amazing in every single way possible, and you’ve made me feel so alive and not completely lost in the world. i would love for you to be by my side, and i want to be able to call you mine.”

It takes Xiao a little while to get used to kissing you.
You take the lead with your first kiss, though it's him who brings it up first- years of watching couples smiling within each other's breaths during the lantern rite, leaning in till their faces were flush, murming 'I love you's against each other's skin....it left Xiao with a burning curiosity he'd thought humiliating, but you always encouraged him to ask for what he wants, your voice sweet and promising nothing but acceptance.
And what he wants is to try, with you. Just to see what it'd feel like.
He's stiff and quiet up until you press your plush lips against his own, feather-light and tender, and even then he barely moves (his traitorous heart thump-thump-thumps against his rib-cage so loud he's afraid you can hear it), eyes open and staring straight at you.
You move your mouth over his bottom lip, then to the corners, ghosting over his skin. Your eyes flutter open when there's no response, and you smile at the state he's in, amused.
"Did you keep your eyes open the whole time?" You laugh, huffing hot air across Xiao's face before pulling back (his body almost follows yours, pulled into your orbit)- "You're supposed to close them, silly. The angle isn't really flattering when it's so up-close."
His cheeks flush, and he turns his face away, muttering about all the stupid rules mortals make up out of thin air, all the pointless steps to courting rituals, how could anyone care to remember it all? And-
You leave another quick peck at the outer-corner of his lips, just for the sake of indulgence. The fact it makes him flounder and try to compose himself is a nice bonus, though.
————————————
You thought that was it. While you'd been a catalyst for change in Xiao, it wasn't like you (or anyone, for that matter) could force him to do something he didn't like. He would try anything once with you, and if he deemed it unpleasant, it'd be only once.
You'd written off the whole kissing thing as unpleasant and went about your days. You could feel his affection thrumming in the million other things he did for you, and that was enough.
————————————
"The merchant over by the docks- you remember him, right?- he raised the price of golden koi again! At this rate, it'd be cheaper for me to rent a boat and fish for them...myself..."
You're ranting about your day when you notice it. Xiao's faraway look, his eyes hazy, gaze trained on your lips while you speak, admiring the way your mouth forms around the words.
He looks thoughtful. Hesitant, maybe.
You go silent in the middle of your spiel, and he barely notices. Odd, considering he's normally so attentive he catches onto things you don't even remember saying. He just keeps watching your lips, pupils blowing wide when your tongue reaches out to wet them.
He gulps, and your eyes are drawn to the movement. His hands twitch and clench by his sides, a mere moment of hesitation before he reaches out.
You might've leaned in unconsciously, driven by the longing reflected in his eyes, or it could've been him finally working up the courage- all that mattered was that his mouth was melding against yours and oh- it's so much better with him kissing you back.
His lips are soft, gentle, barely pressing into you after the first contact. He doesn't seem to know what to do with his hands, his clenched fists simply laying against the sides of your waist, hovering.
It's him who pulls away first- slow at first, like he can't bear parting from you- straightening back into his seat. You take a sharp breath in, fingers ghosting over your tingling lips. Xiao's in no better shape than you, but he always recovers faster.
"Why didn't you haggle with him, then? You're certainly not beneath it."
Now it's you who's floundering to get the conversation back on track, Xiao chuckling quietly at you all the while.
————————————
Once becomes twice, thrice, four and five and an endless amount of times. Xiao grows more comfortable with every kiss shared, and with it more insistent, more bold. He's obsessed, quite frankly.
He presses his lips to yours for every greeting, sometimes a quick chaste peck, usually more long-winded and hot, his hands tracing a familiar path over your waist, your hips, your back, folding his love into every corner of you.
Your muffled moans only spur him on, now that he understands it means you're pleased, and that he's making you feel good.
You're forced to push at his shoulders eventually, lest you both lose track of time. You find it hard to scold him when he looks so- so beautiful, breaths heavy and lips pink and swollen, looking at you with so much desire it nearly knocks you over.
He always steals one or two or three more before relenting, and you always let him.
————————————
(When it all gets too much, his thoughts plagued with memories, tainted with spirits, you'll swipe his hair behind his ear and brush your lips over his face, his cheeks cradled in your palm.
You can't save him, not from this, but the least you can do is soothe his mind in whatever way you can.)
————————————
The first time he bites hard enough for your lips to part, his tongue edging past and into your mouth, hot and wet and sweet, you yelp. He pulls away, wipes the spit connecting the both of you (holy shit, that's hot, you think distantly), concern pulling his brows together.
"What's wrong? Did I- did I hurt you?" Embarrassment coils alongside the heat in your gut, the fire only burning brighter when his hand settles across your jaw, thumb pressing into your bottom lip to check for injury. You think you might burn up if he keeps petting over it like that.
"Nonono, its nothing like that-" his shoulders drop in relief- "I was just....surprised, is all. Where did you even learn that?"
Xiao's thumb continues its ministrations over your lip, dipping ever so slightly into your mouth before inching back out. It's reassuring to him, probably, but all it does is send a shiver down your spine and make you heavily regret interrupting whatever had been about to happen.
"There's....many bookshelfs, back at Wangshu Inn. They have a section dedicated to human romance." He murmurs, and though he'd sound stoic to anyone else, you can tell he's sheepish, "I'd never given them any thought before, but...."
You picture Xiao checking the corridor for passerbys (as if anyone but you would dare disturb him), flipping open the pages of some corny romcom, fumbling through every passage for something that'd help him get this right for you. The thought is so laughably endearing and just so Xiao that it sends a flurry of love straight to your heart.
You're desperate when you throw your body against his, and whatever sound he'd made in surprise is lost into your mouth. His toned arms wind around you, catching you easily, fitting you against his chest perfectly.
This time when his tongue finds itself between your lips, you give into it, making those pleasured little noises you know he likes so much. He tilts his head into yours, pressing deeper, his fingers tugging at your top like the piece of fabric offends him.
It's hot and messy and inexperienced, the way Xiao makes out with you, and you find your mind growing more fuzzy by the minute, his passion leaving you breathless. He kisses you like he's starved for it, feasting on you till you've got nothing left to give.
You don't know when it'd happened, but his knee is between your thighs, now, and it grinds up. You whine, and the groan he lets out reverberates through your head, sends heat flashing down your spine.
You have to pull away to breathe, heaving, letting your head fall to his shoulder for a second so he can't reach your lips. Your whole body is buzzing alight with need, so your laugh comes out strained, "did you learn that from the book, too?"
He doesn't reply, clucking his tongue in annoyance. Instead, his hands grasp your chin, pulling your face upwards so he can dive in and ruin you all over again.
♡ Thoma’s love language is physical touch, and he cannot bear not having skin to skin contact with you!
A/N: Pure fluff with gender neutral reader! My first post on here hehehe~
Lovestruck Thoma who can’t keep his hands off you; oftentimes he doesn’t even realize it himself, but anytime the two of you are out, at the very least you can expect a hand on your lower back or your arms intertwined together. It’s just his love language, always gravitating to show his appreciation for you in gentle caresses of your cheek, a nuzzle of your noses, a sweet squeeze of your arm.

Warnings: none, just fluff
a/n: My Jean simping continues, and so does my streak of writing random things instead of my requests. I swear I'll get to them, but there are simply aren't enough requests with Jean in my inbox, so I have to do it myself /hj
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
Nilou
While some might get shy, embarrassed, or sometimes more brazen around the person they liked, Nilou’s friendly behaviour didn’t change too much around you. Sure, there were times she’d say something to you without thinking it over, nearly losing her composure as a result, but those were exceptions, no the rule.
Whenever Nilou found some extra time, she liked to invite you to the great Bazaar, no matter if she had a performance and wanted you to be in the audience or simply wanted to spend time with you. From all of the places in Sumeru city, there weren’t many that could rival it in her eyes, and while the lively atmosphere was great even when on her own, with you it felt just the better.
Sometimes you’d actually buy something, but often the two of you would simply look from stall to stall while either chatting with each other or talking to the shop-owners, who were already more than used to seeing both of you around.
The moment Nilou and you had entered the Bazaar, she had began to lead you all the way to a small shop selling all kinds of pastries, sweets and other such things, and while you first thought that it must have been a new store, having never visited or even seen it before, the way Nilou and the shop-owner talked made it obvious that this wasn’t the first time she bought something from them.
“Please, feel free to pick something that you’d want, that’s on me”, Nilou offered to you, causing you to think about it for a few seconds. While you weren’t the biggest fan of pastries, the thought of not ordering anything, when she had been so excited to show the stall to you, left you with a bitter taste, causing you to pick the same thing she did, causing her order them right away.
“How does it taste?”, Nilou asked after watching you take your first bite, only for a smile to appear on her face once again when saw your subconscious smile and you told her you liked it, happy to see you happy.
Jean
While there were many people in the knights of Favonius and Mondstadt that tried to convince their acting Grandmaster to not overwork herself too much, most of their attempts failed, and the ones that succeeded only did so for a day or two max. So, when Jean actually began trying to end her work or take breaks long enough to spend a bit of time with you, people around her couldn’t help but be surprised to say the least.
Your outings wouldn’t be long, consistint of small walks through the city with maybe a shop visit or two every once and again, during which you made sure no one bothered her with unimportant requests. And while your conversations sometimes had the semblance of professionality, other times the two of you talked about whatever came to your minds.
“Even a short walk outside does wonders after sitting in an office for a few hours”, you stated out loud once the two of you returned to Jean’s office. While you had your own office with your own work waiting for you to come back, you figured that accompanying the acting Grandmaster back to her office wouldn’t ruin your schedule too much. And while you certainly planed on leaving her to work on her own after just a few minutes, that quickly changed when your eyes landed on a small novel on top of her desk.
“Ah- Lisa must have left it here the last time she paid me a visit”, Jean quickly lied once she realised you were staring at the romance novel she had read in a small break and forgot to put away before agreeing to meet you, only for the embarrassment she felt to be joined by the feeling of shame about lying to you and using her friend as a scapegoat, but at the same time she couldn’t help but fear what you’d think of her if you knew the truth.
“Oh okay, makes sense. But you should try and give it a read, I know it looks like a cheesy romance novel, but I personally thought that it’s actually pretty good”, you responded after walking over to her desk and taking the novel into your hands, only to hand it to a still red Jean.
For a few moments, Jean had no idea what to say. Your words were almost exactly the same she’d use if she had to try to convince another person to pick it up, and while she couldn’t help but feel even more embarrassed because of it, another part of her felt really happy about it.
“Thank you for the recommendation, I will give it a read if I find the time for it”, she told another white-lie, only for her heart to skip a beat when she saw your smile widen because of her.
