Being haunted by the thoughts of the blorbo lore once again, feels like one of those Scooby Doo chase scenes, where do these damn doors lead
yet again alone on a Saturday night, thinking about the Duskborn questline so here's a butt load of Devin dialogue doodles: (+ an Alfred bc their post-murder scenes seem really similar to me)
bonus:
ik the implication is that Devin either killed himself or was killed by deathblight right after, but since we never see his body, I like to imagine he just took off his armour and ran away to who knows where
120 pages (ongoing) available for free in official English and Russian:
1-7
Another doodle of one of the strain mutants so we got my girl 1-7, first one of the batch who really had to be drawn eventually, during her experimentation she was combined with an alligator. She's around 11ft in length and 3ft in height
Bonus time lapse
A quick doodle of Sev, I've had an idea of this in my head for a while but the motivation only got me to make a simple version of it, either way I still like it because I don't draw Sev enough
He just likes sitting there
"False perception of a divine idol"
Art piece from well over a year ago I didn't post, the idea for this one came up during a conversation with @1romaji about symbolism and thematics with characters and iconography. The characters are Elise (left), Stein (middle) and Deacon (right).
This is the censored version of Stein's face, used more to hide what they look like
Re-emerging from my gaming frenzy after playing Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 in a two week span having played neither before, skill jump between both kicked my ass. 10/10, will do this again immediately
My birthday has been this weekend (hooray I'm 20 now) and the bestie @1romaji gifted me Dark Souls 3! So now I've got a new character to work around and play with called Ceri
This is her life now
Dendrogaster (a crustacean that parasitizes starfish)
California Zone Governor
Meetings were never her favourite, traveling across states in an apocalypse for governing meetings is not worth the sleep deprivation in her opinion
Speedpaint under the cut
I have no idea how the lineart disappeared at the end, funny looking at least
I now have a rivalry with drawing shoes, here is someone entirely new to Ibis Paint trying to sketch and do lineart for a WIP compressed into 1 minute. Sorry for any flickering from looking back and forth on layers
I've never used Ibis Paint before so I decided to draw this to test it out, I had fun, it was. Major adjustment but I'm definitely going to try it out again
Valentine's day? On this AroAce blog? More likely than you think!
Looser practice doodles for a persona because I've somehow gone most of my art life without having one
I've been losing you
The next pafl episode is kicking my ass
Mend the Dead by Giovana Marion
Victoria K. Profile. Circa 2009
Explanation under the cut
Finally having a more concrete design for another story character, treated this drawing more as if it was a headshot you'd see in yearbooks or work staff IDs.
Victoria doesn't show up while alive in the story, but I still think she's important to add extra onto
They're in their enemies to bigger enemies arc

Happy birthday Micah! Your one free day off work, Salvador says to make it count. You're only 25 once!
Who the hell tried to run over my kid???

Happy New Years from one of the body horror families
They deserve nice things sometimes, Fletcher (dude on the left) is from @1romaji
There's nothing more hilariously ironic about struggling with Cyberpunk 2077's (Don't Fear) The Reaper ending, just to have it crash as you enter Mikoshi.
Missouri Zones local nuisance of a mutant hunter, Casidy
At least according to her boss. Easy to say, no one in her family gets along with him either
Decided to mess around rendering wise and use a different brush than usual, honestly I kinda like it
Buckle up because I'm about to ramble a tad
Watching Look Back was probably the best thing a streaming platform could've recommended to me, the way Fujimoto wrote the characters was so immensely human and the most I've related to characters in years in terms of art. Drawing out of felt necessity instead of genuine love is something I felt so intensely related to, not drawing for some time and then picking it back up again as well.
I've had times I haven't drawn for months then only to draw out of a felt need instead of my love for my work, I've had times I've drawn multiple pieces in a day because I wanted to and loved every moment of it. Both girls have been me at some point in my life, childhood and current adulthood.
The story was absolutely brilliant, in all ways I can think of, watching two young artists grow up and their paths that they took, the way they developed. I could not have asked for more, I don't think I've cried that much over characters I knew such a short time either, but they moved me. Those two girls got me so involved, made me feel so seen and then broke my heart in the best way possible.
I love this film and it's story with all my heart
Opening Tumblr and this being the first post you see from a mutual is fucking wild
