Okay so we all know how Toph never told Lin of her father but what if she didn’t because he left and Toph didn’t want her to be hurt. So when Lin found out that Toph “didn’t tell him”, Toph just chose for her to believe that she left and he didn’t. Lmao hopefully this made since.

I don’t personally think Aja was pressuring him, she was just trying to keep the people on earth safe but everyone said no. So it was either get everyone off earth or get the troll hunter back. I also don’t understand why they needed the troll hunter when they were capable of taking care of things without him. I’m only half way through the movie at the moment so I don’t know everything but this is what I think so far.

Tbh I find Jim's arc ok. The first time he ditched the amulet willingly, the second time it was taken from him forcibly. First time he didn't want Daylight, now he's desperate for a weapon. But screw Excalibur, that Arthur-tainted thing was not worthy of him, and also I expected the others to tell him "dude. Stand back & recover" instead of Aja pressuring him into his role AGAIN. This time, he should have chosen to act of his own free will. But no, he was a requirement who they relied on AGAIN.

I will never understand why Aja (and really everyone else) acted the way she did towards Jim. Especially with trying to pressure him into his role. Aja HATED being queen in waiting for such a long time. She knows all about being pressured into a role and for her to do that to Jim is asinine.

They understood what each other was going through in 3Below and got along so well i'm forever sad D'aja Vu was never remembered again.

Having to rely on Jim made no sense at all. I'm cool with him being a leader/strategist but to be relied on in battle and for him to ultimately take down belloc???? so many characters there are way more powerful than him, even with the amulet and they kept nerfing them so hard.

I LOVE THIS! Even though I head canon Toph as bisexual as well(sorry if this came out mean lol I just love the idea of them both being bisexuals ❤️)

I wanna explain some things:

- The heights are just estimates

- Obviously they wouldn't be dating as kids, but 19 x 22 isn't that weird imo, especially in their universe, so that's that

- Sokka is bi. No, I do not take criticism.

- I live for the dynamic of someone acting big around people and then taking down their walls with their partner, hence Toph being the little spoon

- For the pet names, I don't think Toph calls Sokka romantic pet names, but she calls him "Snozzles" or "Meathead" more than she calls him Sokka. I do, however, think that Sokka calls Toph "Love" or "Beautiful" or sometimes just "T"

- I put Sokka in the middle for affection through words or actions cause he does both

- Obviously Toph wouldn't care about bugs, but Sokka is definitely scared of bees and spiders

- Pretty obvious why Toph doesn't drive or cook

- Ok, so I was torn for Toph with the PDA, cause she wouldn't want to be all lovey-dovey in public; but, I think she would secretly like it when Sokka kisses her or hugs her or holds her hand in public

- With being overprotective, I don't think either of them don't trust the other, I think they are overprotective of each other's physical safety. Like, the wouldn't want the other to go certain places alone cause they know that they both could be targets of an assassination attempt. Sokka is also definitely lowkey jealous of any guy talking to Toph, but he knows Toph would never be unfaithful. I think that Toph gets jealous of other girls at times, but she is able to calm herself down pretty easily

- Toph is horny 24/7 and you can not change my mind

it has also been used as a slur. there is no denying that. but using a word as a slur does not make it a slur. because before queer is a slur it is an identity. before it is derogatory it is a label. the use of queer as an identity is infinitely more important than the use of queer as a slur because the people who identify as queer are infinitely more important than the people who use queer as a slur.

say a lot of people decided they hated me. despised me. were disgusted by me to the point where my own name became a slur. would you tell me not to say it? would you tell me i could no longer be helena, and instead must come up with a euphemism for the name that belonged to me decades before it belonged in the mouths of bigots?

because that would make you an enabler.

you would tell me i can’t say my name anymore because some lowlife decided he could use it to insult me?

you would tell a gay man that he can’t be gay anymore because some teens in the early 2000’s started calling everything they didn’t like “gay”, and now he has to say “same sex oriented male identifying individual”?

does that enrage you? because it should. that’s exactly how you sound.

you are telling me i cannot use my label. you are telling me that when my great-uncle shouted until his face was red and he spat tobacco and the word queer at my feet, he was right. he was right to insult me, and i was wrong to say my name.

you are shitting on every single one of our predecessors. you are slandering every person who fought for their rights to exist and and be tolerated and be celebrated in their countries, every person who was lost to the aids epidemic, every person whose country criminalizes love and gender expression, every child whose parents abandoned them for straying from the norm, every person who was born and will die in the closet longing to be themselves. the queer umbrella is a safety net, a security blanket, the comfort of being known without being pressured to tell. it is near and dear and important as fuck to every member of the lgbt+ community and you are a blight upon the earth you walk.

how dare you speak upon my experiences with homophobia. how dare you disguise your own homophobia as activism. and how fucking dare you have the audacity to come to my blog and hide behind an anonymous ask and preach to me about how i’m oppressing myself. go look at the fucking wikipedia page for queer and read about how 1980s lgbt+ activists, especially lgbt+ people of color, fought to call themselves queer in a world that still hates peculiar things. and here you are forty years later spitting queer back at their feet.

My opinion about episode 16:

So it’s by far one of my favorite episodes, like wow I got chills it was so good! The plot twist of Cecilia being dead was shocking and sad. I’m excited to see Nancy be even more badass in the next episodes. Even though I love nace, I’m loving the bonnie and Clyde vibes from Nancy and Gil.

Anyways overall LOVE THIS EPISODE!

I hate when parents say it’s just a phase but I also hate when parents get angry when that phase is over. Like how are we supposed to find out what we like if we don’t try new things. They say “it was a waste of money” or “waste of time”. This whole episode I just feel like grant thought ace and Nancy were dating and it would have been amazing if he accidentally said something and ace or Nancy would have to be like “oh we’re not dating”
