Also after her first couple of fights with Lace, her instincts just kicked in and she suddenly began to purr when they had clashed weapons again after encountering each other again —few spiders purr as a way to potentially attract and gain a mate— this is because her instincts from the beast side of her acknowledges that Lace is very capable and a potential amazing mate to have. This leads to embarrassed Hornet, running away to scold herself while Lace was just left speechless
