May I Add To Those That Batman Has No Idea How He Ended Up Half Naked, He Was Not Knocked Out At All.

allow me to better this by saying even when Damian(the youngest and has a clear height difference with Bruce) does it, no one notices.

i've just decided you're all wrong and the actual funniest scenario of the league not knowing bruce has kids until they take his place as batman during league meetings is the scenario where bruce never even asked them to pretend to be batman.

when he can't make an important meeting he sends either jason or dick in his place just as themselves, because if he can vouch for them as proxys then why would the league have an issue with it? they just need to show up and say they're there to take notes for batman or something, there's no need to lie. he doesn't even realise that his identity is being stolen until he shows up after a meeting he sent a sub in for and when he shows up everyone is staring at him awkwardly.

batman: what's everybody looking at

green lantern: nothing! we're just... concerned.

flash: yeah... how was your surgery?

batman:

batman: what surgery

green lantern: ...well you ran out of the meeting last week yelling about how you were going to be late for your 'piles removal operation'

green lantern: so uh. how'd it go big guy?

batman:

batman: i wasn't here last week. jason was.

the league:

flash: who the fucks jason

batman:

batman: *slowly turns to superman, who is staring at the table stubbornly*

batman: clark-

superman: THE KIDS SEEMED SO EXCITED TO DRESS UP, I DIDN'T WANT TO BE THE BORING UNCLE AND SAY NO!

bruce ends up calling jason in front of the league to demand an explanation and clear his name. jason straight up doesn't even remember what he did.

jason, on call: oh hey B, thought you were at a JL meeting this afternoon?

bruce: i am. what happened last week?

jason: i sent tim the report to hand over already! i didn't get all of it though, i had to leave real quick towards the end because damian was threatening to set my safe house on fire if i didn't pick him up from school

bruce: and the league let you go early?

jason: yeah i made some excuse, i think i said-

jason: *pauses, remembering what he'd done*

jason: oh my god

bruce lays his head on the table while jason laughs through the loud speaker for the next eight minutes.

We got Darlene, who's dead but was part of the League as the alias of Claws and became endeared to everyone. So, when she up and disappeared one day, everyone was a little shooken up and distraught even if they never knew her real name.

Then we have Misha, the metahuman werewolf who kinda showed up at John Constantine's apartment one day and said "I live here now' and he legitimately just nodded, took a sip of whiskey and said "fair enough, but you're coming to work with me."

We have Shiva, the metahuman harpy often mistaken for an angel due to her pure white eyes and is fed up with being the responsible eldest sibling and just wants to sleep. Yet is also dating Klarion who reminds her to have fun.

Then we have little sweetheart, 13-yr-old Kiva, who is a cambion with pyro abilities who is super emotional and just wants to be friends with everyone.

What do they all have in common you may ask? Well, they've all been to the batcave because Misha is chill with Red Hood and Roy, and Damian and Kiva are friends. But, they were also all kidnapped as infants and raised in a cult by a bitch named Mother Veronica who sacrificed young girls to maintain immortality and killed Darlene after finding out she was helping the Justice League

If you're wondering why Kiva's skin tone changed, she's half demon(a cambion) and so when she got older and hit puberty, her demon genes finally activated, giving her the skin color of her succubus mom.

Baba Chops In My Au!

Codename: Black Sheep

Uniform Accent Color: Black

Symbol: Skull

Height: (undecided but she's in the middle of two extremes. She's like average height.)

Age: (again, haven't figured out age yet, but is kinda in the middle of all the others)

Eye color: Stone gray.

Role: Scout.

Weapon: Sickles.

Celestial Power: None. At least none known or active. But, unknown to the others at the time this picture was(which would be when they were still on missions but before her betrayal), her sickles are coated in a distilled form of the protoype's red smoke, specifically a strain to cause paralysis for a few hours. She also has a bit of immunity due to the tattoo marking(which you can see on her stomach as supposed to be the protoype's claw marks but she's covering it with makeup in the pic) and it makes her immune because of yet to be determined reasons. I'm trying okay?

Home planet: Baba grew up in many of the cult's different compounds, so she didn't have a home planet really. Though it was most likely she had been born on a planet that had been destroyed by the protoype's red smoke, where the cult decided to station a compound.

Upbringing: For being raised in a cult, it was.. somewhat healthy-ish. Aside from the obvious bad stuff, she actually grew up pretty happy and healthy, physically. Mentally is... Questionable. She was actually tutored by the protoype's second in command, The Doctor (who's name in this au escapes me even though I feel like he got mentioned?), since she showed immense potential. She was trained to infiltrate the Space Riders.

School Life: Was definitely a loner, most of the school didn't even know she went to school with them type of loner. Had no social life and didn't want any. She only occasionally hung around the nightmare critter crew(as this would've been when they also attended the space Rider school) in large group settings, but they weren't really friends. She got really good grades and was always on time. The counselor recommended she not be given a gun.

First Mission: she actually joined later than the others on the Nightmare Critters crew, but her first mission was very tense since the team had been well established at the time and she kinda threw them off. She did well on the mission, despite not listening to a single word he others said. The mission was a failure for reasons unknown to the others, but Baba absolutely knew why.

Last Mission(aka, the one she betrayed them on) Took fucking pride in taunting them, especially Simon. She was ruthless and savage in the attack, as was Yarnaby. But she enjoyed watching the betrayed looks on the others faces. She insulted and attacked their vulnerabilities. After Simon's attack that 'killed her'(at least it seemed that way to the Space Riders) Yarnaby had to drag her away to safety, despite her protests that she could fight more.

Orientations(did they go to any for the younger space riders?): nope. Not once. Stayed back to do maintenance on the ship. Would have rather stabbed herself than breathed the same air as those people.

Injuries(inflicted from the last Mission): Lots of burnt wool, bald spots, and burn marks. Most of her bald spots have been covered by yarn from Yarnaby, but she still is so salty about it. She also has a slight limp, but will deny it fiercely if asked.

Family: Unknown. As she was raised in a cult, she was taken from her mother at a very young age, and even then from her caretakers when the prototype took her under his wing. But she doesn't really care. She only ever wanted to know for medical reasons.

Solo Missions: Never went on them, since she always needed an alibi and honestly didn't wanna do rock, paper scissors, with another cultist to figure out which one of them had to lose.

Reputation: Had the worst reputation as she was blunt and harsh with everyone but her crew. She didn't care though, her goal was to cause discourse.

no, no. GOD FORBID YOU SEE ALL HIS KIDS THERE AT THE SAME TIME! and none argue. Cause that means shit is going down and we might lose the world and probably all die horrifically.

I bet the JL has a “how fucked are we” metric that’s literally just how many of Bruce’s kids are there.

Like if he pulls up to the alien invasion or whatever with just Robin, then everything’s fine. More than fine, actually, because Bruce feels comfortable enough to bring his eight year old along for the ride. This battle will take approximately fifteen minutes and they’ll all get shawarma after. Not fucked in the slightest.

But if Red Robin shows up too… hmm, okay, this is getting somewhat serious. Tim is one of Bruce’s most trusted partners; he’s the smart Robin, the tactician, the loyal one, and so if Batman brought him along then it means he’s at least a little bit worried about shit hitting the fan and wants one his advisors around. But the combined brain power of Bruce and Tim is pretty much unmatched (DC plot armor for the win), so everything will be fine, basically. Superman might take a hit, but everything’s going to be fine. Just keep calm and you’ll all make it home in time to Door Dash some Panda Express before it closes. So not that fucked.

It starts to get serious after that. When Signal and Spoiler roll up the scene, shit has definitely hit the fan. Batman’s worried enough to call in reinforcements and he’s probably doubting the League’s ability to listen/obey his orders, so he needs a backup plan in case things go really south. But with Signal’s abilities and Steph’s superpower of turning anything into a joke, chances are you’ll be okay. Maybe impaled or something, but okay. But still, fucked.

When Nightwing shows, the JL knows it’s starting to get dicey out on the field. See, Nightwing’s got his own team, his own issues—the fact that he set that all aside to help out his dad is cause for concern. On a scale from 1-10, they are at a 7. Above moderately fucked.

And… oh God. Black Bat? Most of the time the JL doesn’t even see her, but once she makes herself known and starts fighting alongside her siblings, they all start to silently freak out. Black Bat is a fucking machine and if she’s breaking a sweat trying to fight the Big Bad, things are definitely not going to go well. They start praying that Batman figures something out. They freak out. They are intrinsically fucked.

But God Forbid you catch sight of the Red Hood. The prodigal son is a legitimate killer, and if Batman’s letting him blow out brains then the JL knows he’s desperate. And a desperate Batman is not good. At all. They are definitely fucked.

I will explain when I return from school at around 2:45, but it is my belief that even though the Nightmare Critters are a bit of .. walking red flags in certain ways.

Supposed to be John Constantine giving Misha a haircut. Would've been about a week after she moved in with him. She wanted to cut what she felt was the last ties to a super bad situation, by changing one of the things she used to never be able to, her hair. Of course, he doesn't know the full extent of her past(not the whole compound in Estonia, raised to never expect to live the next day thing), just that she escaped a bad situation and wanted to change her look.

For John, it's just his new roommate asking for help. For Misha, it's a big step in her life, her gaining her freedom and proving she's not a puppet on a string anymore. She doesn't have to live by Mother Veronica's rules anymore. She can be herself. She can be free. And she can trust others to help her when she can't do something herself.

And to her, that's good enough. ❤️
