Howdy yall, today I come with sad news, ya boi broke/fractured his ankle. So Im going to hospital in the morning but in the meantime Im playing minecraft (enough though I should really be resting my ankle, minecraft is my comfort game). So anything on here might be a while, gonna actually finish Hermit-A-Day-May during this but yeaaa. Im broken lolz

Please give me ideas on what to draw, I don't think I can keep just doing lil sketches of NJ I need other characters to spice things up. Don't get me wrong I love NJ with all my heart he's great state rep but at the same time get bored quick when I knew I have nothing to do sooo.

I will literally draw anything, hell I'll even give headcanons I just need SOMETHING to do!!!!

IM ALIVE AND SLIGHTLY OLDER

Tis is how the title says, today is my birthday and I thought "huh I should probably tumblr" SO HERE I AM. Anyway my ankle is a lot better now, I can actually walk and I dont need to use a cane or anything anymore which is great (was using crutches for a while there).

Like I said, today is my birthday, still a minor but like slightly older, my friend got me these adorable eeveelution enamel pins (umbreon slyveeon leafeon and glaceon (I know there spelt wrong shh)) aswell as this cute squid flip thingy and I love it, it now sits on top of my other squid flip thing which sits on my microphone. I am getting presents from my parents I just havnt opened them yet so I'll probably post another thing with what I got from them.

I also went swimming but it always rains on my birthday (which has turned into some type of meme to me lol) and the wind was being annoying so I decided to just get out.

Anyway this was just a small update and I'll probably post another one later on but thats if I'm not reading HP fanfics again lol

I think this is like such a fun dynamic, whether it's shipped or just their normal bullshit (personally I don't ship them but I can agree with those who do ship them, they are very cute together)

They are arguing about who gets the backyard probably, a very common argument once the baseball season pops up I'd imagine (and I am), half the time the only reason they stop is because of a meeting lol

So I added a fanfic snippet part to the google doc, wrote one for Jersey, Cali and then York, and York's the only one I want to share at the moment. Maybe I will share the other ones if asked but for now it's just this, ENJOY

New York-

Sleep

New York liked to sleep, it was peaceful and calming and he didn’t have to think about everything going on around him, it was the perfect break from his ADHD mind. However sleep did not like him, he wouldn’t be able to sleep for days until he basically passed out.

Mass was able to figure out that because NYC is the city that never sleeps, New York can’t really either. The two figured out that as long as he keeps up with a routine, he should be able to get to sleep easier and faster, though having a routine has its own problems. 

Table meetings could happen very early in the morning sometimes, and if York had to go to those meetings it would screw his whole schedule up. It wasn’t until one night where he finally was able to have a solution.

It was pouring out, rolls of thunder after flashes of lightning happening what seemed like every second. York likes the rain and thunder, it was calming, especially when the wind was loud, it was easiest for him to fall asleep. 

This was not the case for New Jersey. Jersey hated storms, wouldn’t be able to fall asleep until it was barely raining anymore and that wasn’t even consistent. He used to like them, though not as much as York did, but after hurricane Irene in 2011 and hurricane Sandy the following year, he could never see them the same.

This is why it wasn’t all too surprising to hear hard knocking on his door, opening it to find an exhausted and wet faced Jersey. Letting him in and onto the bed, the two sat there for a long while until York heard light snores coming from the other.

New York sat there even longer just thinking, hearing the rain start to die down he felt himself start to tire. He wasn’t feeling particularly tired before, but now, with Jersey laying on top of him as peacefully as someone afraid of storms can, he felt just as exhausted as Jersey had looked. 

For the first time in a few days, New York found himself able to sleep with ease as the wind slowed and the constant thunder and lighting became less and less. 

The two didn’t speak of this afterward, they never tended to when it came to storm sleepovers, York preferred just to remind him that he’s always free to come over if he can’t sleep, this time however Jersey said that the offer was mutual. 

York thought this over a few nights later when he couldn’t sleep and desperately needed to. Making up his mind, he snapped over to Jersey place, knocked on the door and waited for a moment before it opened.

When Jersey questioned why he was here York only said “Wanna have a sleepover?”.

So apparently I'm most like Donnie??? No idea how, like yeah I'm tall and smart and want a bonk stick but zero idea how I got him (I'm not complaining tho, I like being told I'm smart)

Listen I ain’t gonna say that pollution is a problem, but I am going to say that we got so FUCKED by the Canadian wild fires, like it was real bad air and stuff. So when in doubt, blame Canada (or the West when that’s all on fire, seriously it allll just comes over here).

Wasn’t alive but 2001 sucked for like everyone duh, the sad thing is that a lot of people who died were from NJ, since a ton of people commute to NY. Obvi a ton more New Yorkens died that day but a shit ton of Jersians did as well….so you know…something something angst.

Also yes the forest one totally counts as angst, the woods aren’t obviously dangerous here since we only have Forest Puppies™️ and like foxes and coyotes, but lemme tell ya, them woods not only definitely haunted but there is probably people doing the big illegals out there. Like moonshiners or…idk cultests probably, that’s also ignoring the actually legal hunting lol.

FUCK ENGLAND, damn tea drinkers.

^he’s sorta under the impression that people date him out of pity for some reason. And they’ll leave him when they feel less pitiful.

Idk if this counts as angst, but here’s a random hc: So like- NJ loves plants and nature and all that, so he also knows what herbs and weeds are good and that bring good health and could even help infected wounds. He also found this out from the amount of times he fcked off into the woods all alone and got hurt somehow.

……Okay so. I feel like he definitely watched like. Y’know. All the stuff that happened in 2001, as well as other things. He watched his brother and his brother’s city suffer. He wanted to tear his eyes away. But he couldn’t. He wishes he could’ve.

He definitely has some breathing issues. I’ve. I’ve decided that based off the pollution stereotypes.
