Putting the sloths near the dolphins was the biggest surprise of all. The dolphins are absolutely delighted with the sloths, and the sloths, normally very quiet animals, have been squeaking replies back to the dolphins for hours at a time. Who would have guessed these two species would be such a great match?

Minecraft should completely rework villages. They're not hominids anymore, they're animate bipedal constructs made from clay or bronze wandering the ancient overgrown ruins of their former farming hamlets. The villagers are gardening robots, still tilling their fields after untold centuries of disrepair.

Hoping I get around to continuing this. Had it rattling around in my head ever since halfway through season 3, and suddenly the finale inadvertently validated it as a possibility. Christmas came early!

Okay, so, Pactverse Peter Pan. Neverland is a knotted place, Tinkerbell is a High Summer fae in the process of succumbing to Winter, and Peter is her Bright Eyed companion. Tinkerbell created Neverland as a flailing last ditch effort to remain engaged in the Stories rather than fall to the winter court, and towards that end, acquired Peter to be an instigator of Narrative. The dynamic between them is responsible for their home becoming knotted. Captain Hook is a practitioner who seeks to claim the vast stores of plot power stored there for himself.

Well now I want to see someone experience “eldritch horror” where they just go “ooooooooh it all makes sense.” And that’s it, everyone else is freaking out and screaming but they’re just going huh yeah sure

People, especially games, get eldritch madness wrong a lot and it’s really such a shame.

An ant doesn’t start babbling when they see a circuit board. They find it strange, to them it is a landscape of strange angles and humming monoliths. They may be scared, but that is not madness.

It understands those markings are words, symbols with meaning, like a pheromone but infinitely more complex. It can travel unimaginable distances, to lands unlike anything it has seen before. It knows of mirth, embarrassment, love, concepts unimaginable before this moment, and then…

It’s an ant again.

Echoes of things it cannot comprehend swirl around its mind. It cannot make use of this knowledge, but it still remembers. How is it supposed to return to its life? The more the ant saw the harder it is for it to forget. It needs to see it again, understand again. It will do anything to show others, to show itself, nothing else in this tiny world matters.

This is madness.

Ok the part about tinkers and steampunk got me thinking what would tinkers do in like medieval times or like hunter gatherer times. Like I know in scions interlude it talks about Earth being the ideal time for powers in early 2000s and I guess this is why. Also for 1800s would there just be a tinker with a regular modern day pistol?

Worm but it takes place during a cicada year and/or in the 1800s when there were mile long swarms of locusts or just like have a tinker genetic engineer locusts back into existence
