Feitan: Doll and doll face. (for some reason I feel like he’d call his s/o ‘little flame’ and ‘my little sun’ in his native language. Darling if they’re someplace formal/undercover or more as a snide/sarcastic nickname to show whose in charge. Brat if they’re being a tease or he’s teasing them. I could also see him saying my pretty little play thing 🤣).

Chrollo: Mi amore, love, dear, darling, sweetheart, my queen/muse/heart/treasure/one and only (very formal and classic names. He might also just look at you and call you irreplaceable)

Phinks: Babe and sweet cheeks

Machi: Just uses your name. (Baby once in a blue moon in private).

Killua: cheeks and babe. (My little light and baby only in private or if one of you is hurt, sick or upset).

Nicknames you have for them:

Feitan: Fei, Killer Queen, hot tamale, love, hunny bun, demon spawn, skull face (honestly I think he gets the worst nicknames given bc his s/o can get away with it). The most common ones they use are love, Fei and Killer Queen.

Chrollo: Lover boy, love and amore. (I feel like Chrollo has a personal hatred for the nickname Babe & Bae because of how casual it sounds. He likes very formal sounding ones but prefers just his name when around others).

Phinks: Babe (sometimes they teasingly call him Mr. Macho).

Machi: Pink cheeks, my little needle, babe (she hates being called baby, it makes her feel less dominant).

Killua: Sparky, sweets, love, babe, baby cakes, kitten, kit kat (if they’re older than Killua I can totally see them calling him hun/honey or baby). The most used ones are definitely Sparky, Kit Kat and Babe.

Would Feitan Ever Leave The Troupe?

Overall I think no, but there are always exceptions aren’t there? I think there would be two he definitely would though.

1. If his partner got murdered or he had to murder them (more likely because of the latter). Depending on how it goes down he would stop altogether or go on a more reckless killing spree.

2. Something breaks him. This is what I think it would be (set a few years after the current arc)

Imagine Feitan has a little girl. Cute, quiet, innocent with big eyes. The perfect mix between his s/o and him. Every time he looks at her he feels undeserving to be her parent. He tries to avoid her at times because of the way she always seems to want him. Want his approval, to babble nonsense and talk about how to get away with murder (I mean common, it’s his daughter 😂). She looks at him like he’s her hero but he's a monster. He knows this. She knows what he is. Who he is. Yet that has never changed her opinion if anything making her more fascinated with him. (He’d probably think something along the lines of ‘Just like her mother, terrible taste in people’)

It would be a random mission. It's not supposed to be anything big. They just needed information. Phinks already has them in the room they think Feitan would prefer. He never knows who he has to torture on missions like this. However, when Feitan walked in he didn't expect this. A little girl his daughter's age, same mannerism, same bright eyes, similar appearance. Similar everything. It was as if she was copied and placed in his torture chambers. It was unnerving.

He tried. He truly did. It never bothered him before. Age, gender, power, etc. He hadn't cared before. He could do it all without a second hesitation. He could feel the frustration seeping in. The little girl was insightful, she told him she was dying and her father was a bad man who hurt people too. She smiled sweetly up at him reassuring him she didn’t hate him, that she understood why he had to do this. She always knew this would happen—it wasn’t a big deal.

At that moment Feitan could feel the crack. He recognized this in his daughter too. Her ability to smile through it all. Knowing who he was and that if anyone found out about their ties she would most likely be tortured and murdered in the worst ways. Yet her refusal to hate him, to still want to be around him, running up to him every time he went home asking what he brought her this time while begging him to play swords with her (‘little brat thinks she’s owed a good life ’). Too curious for her good and not afraid to ask him anything, to run to him for protection and safety. That he was home to not just his s/o but his child that couldn’t defend herself just yet but sure as hell had the spitfire to get there.

The way the little girl told him exactly what he wanted to know on the promise he’d read her favorite book to his daughter. That he’d play her favorite game with her and let her die with “Mr. snuggles” ( an ugly little yellow bear) in her arms. Honestly, he’s not positive what broke. Maybe it was his heart. Maybe his inhumanity.

Either way, Feitan wasn’t the same. Maybe he messed up and let her go. Maybe he killed her. It honestly doesn’t matter. Feitan would never be the same. He would never find the same joy once held in torture and killing as he once did. Something just dissatisfied him and made him uninterested in it. He couldn’t put his finger on the exact emotion but he couldn’t do this anymore.

He saw his daughter in his chair, life in his hands and he broke. He flatly laughed, how ridiculous is this twist of fate. From having nothing to having something he never wanted to be taken away in the ways he’s taken so many.

He didn’t have the heart for it anymore, he knew he couldn’t do this job anymore. One little misstep would cause the others their lives and he wasn’t willing to do a job he knew he wasn’t suited for. It was always a tell. One misstep would lead to another one and another, skills slipping, mistakes left and right, tracks left undone, a mess that would only lead to death (the troupe, his s/o, his daughter, maybe all). He hated messy. He hated not doing something right. He hated that in less than a day his whole ideology had fallen apart. Yet that was the path he was forced to face.

Wordlessly he walked back to the spiders.

“Quite”. Was the only word he said dropping his knives in front of Chrollo.

Chrollo confused accepted his resignation without question. An understanding smile creeped on his lips. The others were pissed. Hurt. Confused. Yelling profanities and threats ensued. Spiders demanding an explanation they’d never get.

He turned around walking out. “Where will you go!” Phinks yelled, slamming a fist into the wall.

Stopping slightly Feitan looked back and for once the troupe could see a hint of a smile. A true genuine smile, “home.”

That was the last time they saw Feitan.

Feitan would never be the same but maybe, just maybe, he was ok with that.

Just two spiderlings trying to find their way. 

Feitan is probably older than Chrollo… and not interested in any magic mumbo jumbo or existential crises. :’D What a mess.

Unpopular Kurapika Headcanon

A/N: As always, just my thoughts! Hope you enjoy! 🙃

Warning: torture, murder and rape mention.

I feel like if Kurapika were to find out a spider had an S/O he would go crazy. He doesn’t understand why you’d be with those monsters and that leads him to assume a possibly innocent person has involvement in the troupe that most of the troupe members likely don’t even know exist. Hell, some of the Spiders s/o might not even know the full extent of what the troupe does for their own safety.

( I totally head-canon that they’d all keep their s/o to themselves if they did except maybe Phinks? Especially if they weren’t a spider. Most of this is because while they have some trust in their team they don’t with their s/o especially because they’re aware people with ability like Paku exist thus the more people that know the more danger their s/o is in).

He would demand to know how long they had been with said spiders, what do they know? Do they know about the Kurta Massacre and did nothing? Did they participate? You didn’t even try stopping their murderous acts and this is as bad as the act itself in his mind.

Kurapika would become very angry and unhinged. His friends likely would not be able to stop him. Leorio tried but got knocked out after being punched to a wall. Gon tried reasoning but fell to death ears. Honestly Killua might be able to stop it but it would be more like him and Gon would try finding the spider themselves to get Kurapika to stop from murdering someone who was so clearly not apart of the spiders. (This would come with the condition of not murdering Kurapika. Not a trade for the Spider for their s/o. Gon and Killua can see the advantage to it but honestly they just want Kurapika to stop and don’t care if it comes from a trade or just bringing the spider. This condition is something that the Spiders would live with as they want their s/o back. For now at least. They will plan a brutaler way for Kurapika to die later then.)

Depending on the answers given to the previous questions depends on the outcome.

First, his clan was all murdered. How could a troupe member have someone that they probably loved and still were able to do that with no regrets, qualms or sorrow.

He would want the spiders to feel that sorrow. Even if their s/o wasn’t involved. He’d want the spiders to feel isolated, abandoned, lost and the pain and suffering of loosing the people who love and accept you.

He would be a loose canon. He would only see red.

Depending on whose S/O they were probably depends on their punishment. People like Feitan, Chrollo, Phinks, and Nobunaga’s s/o getting the absolute brunt of it. (If your Chrollo’s good luck, your gonna get the worst of it).

If you weren’t the s/o of one of the previously mentioned spiders you’d probably get a little roughed up and his judgment chain/ chain jail with nen conditions(he would adjust his conditions stating since while you may not have been directly involved with the massacre of the Kurta you are still involved with the Spiders).

The worst possibility is maybe he snaps and kills the s/o. This isn’t likely for the members S/O as he really wants the spiders to see their s/o destroyed as a consequence of their actions.

Now as I stated people like Feitan, Chrollo, Phinks, and Nobunaga’s s/o would get the absolute brunt of it.

Now remember this man is only seeing red, there is no reasoning or stopping him like this. Not when it comes to the fact the troupe can kill people others care about but when it comes to their own loved ones they expect to be untouchable. He just can’t stop. He will regret and have a hard time accepting whatever decision he goes through with. Especially with these members s/o.

Their punishments could go from beating to torture to murder to having his own time with them but it wouldn’t be just his nen chains. The spiders deserved to get pain like no other and what better way than through their s/o.

He would try to break the Spiders s/o. This could be keeping them for a few days to figure out what to do with them and beating them whenever they say something to defend themselves or a Spider. He will break their wills. He wants them to beg for death like his clan did. He will take their eyes. No mercy will be found when he is like this. He wants them to break.

He gets a terrible idea to claim their s/o as his own while breaking them. This means he will force himself on them. He reasons they deserve it. The fact he gets pleasure from the spiders knowing what he did to their s/o disgusts himself. Knowing it will scar their s/o. That the spiders will never be able to get away from a piece of him. Something so intimate and sacred, ruined. He wants to make sure the spiders think of him when they tend to the psychological and physical wounds of their s/o. He wants to make sure they will ALWAYS see traces of him even if just in memories or a flash when they see or touch their s/o. He wants them to feel pain and he’s not above going low methods he will for sure regret and have a hard time living with.

Kurapika justifies all of this with his end goal being to destroy the spiders. Their s/o was unfortunate but necessary collateral damage.

If Killua and Gon show up with the spider they will be horrified but try to block the memory of how far Kurapika is willing to go to break a Spider. The spider will collect their s/o with a calmness like no other but their aura promising nothing but the most painful murder possible. Meanwhile Gon and Killua try to hold Kurapika back begging through tears to just let them go. He’s done enough. When Gon tells Kurapika he’s scaring them that is the moment when Kurapika snaps out of it and looks at his friends. Both pairs of eyes glassy showing urgency for him to stop.

Kurapika will cry, he will feel like he broke himself and imprisoned himself rather than the spiders with his actions. He never wants Gon and Killua to stare at him so afraid and hesitant to reach out again. He refuses to let himself get so out of control again.

He will disappear from his friends for a long time, ashamed of himself. While he is thankful Gon and Killua did stop him from going further he would have a hard time accepting they brought the Spiders to him. Both because it was stupid and they could’ve been hurt but also because his trust felt betrayed though he would push that feeling down a bit more. He knows they did what they had too.

He may still think the Spiders and their s/o deserved it but not at the cost of his closest friends. The only family he has left. It doesn’t necessarily mean he regrets doing it but he regrets being so unhinged that Gon and Killua felt it necessary to seek out the Spiders.

Depending on what happens and if the other Spiders know, Chrollo will most likely order that anyone who crosses paths with the chain user can kidnap and torture the user but to make sure to leave them alive so the s/o’s Spider will get the finishing blows. (After his exorcism of course).

Relationship Headcanons: Feitan

Hey!! Here’s a few things I thought of for Feitan regarding a relationship with his s/o! Sorry the headcanons are not in order! Also my spelling is not the best at 2am, I apologize in advance :) Who should I do next?

What he looks for/wants in a partner | Part 1

I don’t think Feitan would not want his partner to be in the troupe, mafia, hunter, etc. I think out of all the troupe members he’d want the most civilian like s/o. A true sliver of light in his dark world. Someone that only he knows about. It doesn’t mean she is a captive, they can live their own life, do their own thing, have their own friends, etc. He trusts them. They’re his home. Some things are just meant for him to know. So he’s not willingly sharing the information with anyone. Even Chrollo.

He’d probably prefer it if they were an ambivert. More talkative than him. He would want someone more bubbly, naive and a little shyer but not afraid to be blunt and honest. Someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions, talk about anything and everything. (example: if he was talking about torture methods he would ask her thoughts, methods, what ways they’d think is the most painful—very “what if x,y and s happened” or “what do you think would be the most gruesome way to draw out death”. Most of the time he’d try out their methods or critique their process/tell them if it would work or not and why.) He’d love it if they wanted to learn all about torture and how someone could break.

Would love someone who’d love mysteries.

Would love it if they were terrified of thrillers and horror so he can laugh at them all while making fun of them. He also secretly loves it when you cling to him.

Totally wants a touchy s/o. Not heavily pda with others around but when they’re alone it’s all on.

If in public he likes to hold your waist, hand or pinky’s.

He prefers cute over sexy.

Loves freckles. He’s not sure why but that added with a bit of innocence and blonde hair, he’s a goner.

Would secretly melt if his s/o could do puppy dog eyes. Wouldn’t change his mind but he’d think it was cute and funny tactic.

Totally tease and prank each other. Sometimes he goes to far or you do. No matter who messed up he will come to you when he’s ready to communicate.

Communication is hard at times. If you really make him mad he will tell you he had a call for a mission or needs some space and will leave for a while before he does something reckless that he’s gonna regret.

I don’t see his s/o being a true fighter. Feitan likes to be dominant to much for that. However, he would teach you basic self defense and would be willing to mess around with you sword fighting.

His s/o would definitely need to be submissive but not afraid to test the waters and be a bit bratty at times as well. ;)

He would never seriously fight you because he knows he most likely would go to far and kill you. He’d rather avoid his chances.

Would love it if you picked a date to celebrate his birthday. He’s never had one and it would be something special and you might even see a tear.

The best present he ever received from his s/o was a homemade cake. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or not, he has never had anyone show that kind of love and care before so it would be so meaningful to him.

He would like it if you learned his native language. He’d also like if you read to him in yours.

He normally only cuddles at night. Prefers to do it in the dark so you can’t see his face.

Would totally make blanket forts with you.

If he had to leave before you were awake he’d leave you coffee the way you like it, and a little silly note next to your nightstand and kiss your forehead before leaving.

Since he has insomnia he normally just likes watching you sleep and contemplating how he got to this point and if he truly deserves happiness. Also, he loves taking pics of you sleeping. Such a sweet sight, they’re all in a hidden folder on his phone. He often looks at pics of you (generally unflattering) when he’s by himself.

Doesn’t text you much when he’s gone but he generally does say morning and night when he can. Or sends you a photo of something from a different trip he went on.

He totally has an album of photos to send you whenever he has a “thinking of you” or a “I’m alive and should text something” kinda moment.

While he’s not totally happy (and probably never be) he is content with your life together and that’s a win.

Not super materialistic so whatever is his, money, jewelry, goods, etc is yours. He doesn’t expect you to share back though.

Would never hurt you intentionally.

He would never let his s/o watch him or listen to him torture someone. It’s one thing talking about it but when you actually witness it, even if you swear it won’t, Feitan knows it will change their opinion of him. He never wants them to see him as the true monster he is. Not totally. He thinks there’s a time and place where naivety and innocence is acceptable and that’s with his partner.

He wouldn’t punish or torture his partner. There’s just something so much more intimate about torture with his s/o. He doesn’t know or understand why but seeing them hurt isn’t something that pleases him as it usually does. He would want to use knives on his partner but only as a reward and would want them to see it that way as well.

He has his own set of personal knives dedicated only to you. He got you your own set as well to teach you how to properly cut. If his s/o was terrible he’d totally make fun of them.

He would eventually let you cut him as practice. He sees it as mastery in the process. A beautiful work of art because it was done by you.

His “I’m sorry” is never vocal. Normally it’s a hug with a kiss on the forehead and their favorite food or beverage.

I think his s/o would work in the art field. Either an artist, illustrator, writer, coder, or baker. These are jobs where Feitan doesn’t need a true knowledge of English/Japanese but instead can trust his sense of sight and emotions to guide the communication. In addition he sees torture as a form of art so he feels like you’d be able to understand the beauty of different artistry in a way most people couldn’t.

He’d love an inquisitive s/o but one who also knows the time and place. He would love one whose more empathetic and in tune with his emotions, someone who could read him since he’s not the best at communicating his needs.

Love language would probably be acts of service, touch and quality time.

He loves you blow drying and playing with his hair. Honestly he likes to be taken care of but it’s hard for him to show that type of vulnerability most of the time. So for now he’ll stick to his hair being fluffed.

Loves getting you any trinkets that he reminds him of you. Jewelry, a book, clothing, sweets, literally anything that he can carry back for you he would. A habit for every trip. He even brought you sand one time both because he thought it’d be funny and because it was the only thing at the destination.

He wouldn’t keep who he was a secret from his partner. He would be upfront and answer any questions they had. If they had gotten to this point he trusts them with his and his troupes life.

He would warn them areas to stay out of if he knew the troupe or mafia would be around to avoid her getting hurt.

I see him having an s/o that’s independent and dependent. Can do their own thing but loves being around him. A best friend kinda s/o. Probably an s/o with a few friends (2-3) that drops off the face of the earth for long periods of time when communicating with them.

Part of the reason he can never tell the troupe about his partner is because they’d be the one thing he couldn’t lose. Couldn’t kill. Even if she betrayed him he still could not bring himself to kill his s/o.

If his s/o died or was murdered. Feitan would never let another person in again. He would be colder, crueler, more disinterested. To be honest if he could he’d probably just disappear from everyone and everything even the troupe and become a hermit somewhere no one would ever find him.

Feitan would have a list of everything you have ever said you’d wanted to do before you’d die and he would do for you by himself. When he’d complete the list is the only time he let himself cry over you. Feeling only more alone, angrier and emptier than before. A true sense of loss. He thought it would make him feel better and near you. It didn’t.

Regardless if his s/o is dead or alive, He’d have a lock of your hair incased in a ring in the shape of a skull on a chain. Similar to a Victorian mourning jewelry.

You dying would be the only time in Feitan’s life that he would pray to any god willing to hear him. He would do anything to keep you with him and will barter his life or anything else to get there.

He would not let go of your body for days after your demise. He’d be silent. Letting his rage out unexpectedly and wildly. Not caring who dies in the crossfires or the damage done. He honestly doesn’t care if he dies too. However, he vows to keep living because that’s what you would’ve wanted so he refuses to end it all knowing you would be disappointed.

You’re the only person he’s ever even let his mind wander about having kids for just because he thinks your mini me would be the cutest. He’d also have fun teaching the ways of torture so be warned, haha!

He doesn’t understand his emotions a lot of times but he knows that there’s something about you that makes him intoxicated, softer, gentler, protective and loving. He’ll never understand if it’s actually love since he never had felt this before but he figures why stop a good thing that he’s curious to see where it goes.

Loves quirky and authentic.

Do they prefer a younger, older or same age partner:

Feitan: I think he could go any way. He’d enjoy an older partner due to life experience and a more realistic view on life. However I’m leaning to more of a younger partner because there’s something about the naivety and innocence that brings out his curiosity. How far can he push you? Does he want to break the way you think about the world or protect it? The way their vision isn’t tinted with how cruel the world is just crazy to him. He’ll definitely tease you but he is always thinking about your view and coming up with new things to get your opinion on. It’s intriguing to him.

Chrollo: roughly same age. He wants someone whose curious but not naive or necessarily very experienced in life. He’d rather go through life exploring and discovering new things and ideologies with you. Naivety while it might bring a softer spot in Feitan annoys Chrollo quite a bit. He’s the leader of the spiders. He needs you to be realistic (not cynical or overly naive) about the way the world works.

Killua: as a teen I think roughly the same age or a year or two older. If they’re younger he might end up seeing them more like his younger siblings then he feels like a creep. Once he hits his 20s I don’t think he’d care about age.

Kalluto and Feitan are definitely singing “That Beautiful Sound” from Beetlejuice Broadway on Troupe Karaoke nights. It’s them and their relationship through and through 😂

Phinks sings Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne on a dare from Shalnark and Feitan.

Nobunaga sings “Too Little Too Late” by JoJo while Uvogin adds the background Chorus. Man knows how to reach a high note.

Chrollo is without a doubt “Water Under the Bridge” by Adele or “Summertime Sadness” by Lana Del Rey. If he’s feeling it he might even bring out some Taylor Swift.

Shalnark starts singing “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepson in response to Phinks which almost results in his head through the wall 😂

Franklin brings in the Jazz with Harry Connick Jr. “It Had To Be You”

Phinks demands a rematch to which him, Feitan and Shalnark start rapping the hell out of “Face Off”. It would have been impressive if Phinks and Shalnark could actually rap and Feitan didn’t miss words. But the spirit was there

Machi sings “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” while Pakunoda starts singing “It’s Raining Men” with Shizuku who proceeds to forget all the lyrics.

Illumi just spoke the lyrics to “Secret” by the Pierces which creeped out every soul in the Karaoke room.

Kortopi started singing “Baby Shark” which everyone joined in on and Hisoka sat outside in the rain with his face pressed up against the window. One might have even seen a tear if they looked close enough.

This is just a mess and for fun, please don’t take it too seriously! Also, am I the only one who thinks when Phinks sings it’s country twang sounding? Like think the song “Fake ID” by Big & Rich 🤣

Chrollo’s Pregnant S/O

I keep seeing a lot of different ways that this is taken from a lot of amazing writers so I wanted to try my hand on this topic. These are just my thoughts on the matter. Sorry if it’s too OOC. (Also, this is so much longer than I intended, haha)

-Chrollo is not one to have sex or intimacy with anyone unless he truly loves them or if it’s for the sake of the Spiders. 

-For you to even get to this point you would have to have been together for a very long period of time. In addition, I don’t see his S/O having any involvement with the Spiders. It’s more of a secret. 

-Kids don’t generally like him all that much and he can say the feeling is mutual. 

-However, since this is a child between someone he truly cherishes he doesn’t seem to mind as to be indifferent.

-He has a lot going on his mind that he would never tell you. These thoughts range from your body being ruined to being proud and slightly possessive that there’s such a visible marking of him in you that’s obvious for anyone to see.

-As previously stated, he’s more indifferent to having a child leaning more towards the definitely never wanting them. Mostly because they take so much time, care, and can’t do anything. Plus, he’s not stupid. The lifestyle he leads is not one that a child could easily belong in without getting hurt or worse, killed. 

-He has these worries for you too of course but you can handle and fight back more than an infant could. They would be absolutely defenseless. Relying only on it’s parents to protect them from the dangers of the world. There’s something about that which terrifies him to his soul.  

-So when you tell him your pregnant he looks surprised but not totally shocked. His attitude more aligns with ‘it is what it is’. He will smile softly at you while grabbing your hand, hugging you close to him, thinking of the exact choice of words he wants to say to you. It is obvious that you were nervous and still on edge by sharing this information.

-He would ask you what you want. Do you want to keep the baby? Abortions? Adoption? This is one of the few scenarios where he doesn’t feel that his say goes as much as what you want. Your his darling. Your body, your rules. He will still love you, support you, respect your wishes no matter which way you choose to go. You’re stuck with him for life; (whether that is a good or a bad thing I’m not sure)

- In addition, he won’t be mad about whatever way you decide to go. He would be curious and want to know your thoughts behind the decision but you would never be punished or abandoned by him whatever way you end up going. 

-You on the other hand, will probably never know what he truly wanted or his opinions on the choice you made. Partly because he honestly doesn’t know what he really wants. The other part being that he doesn’t want to sway or cause you more emotional torment because of your decision. This is especially true if your decision differs from what he decides he wants. 

-If you decide to have the baby and put it up for adoption Chrollo would without a doubt keep close tabs on the child. He doesn’t necessarily intervene in his child’s life but he does look out for them and sometimes they will find interesting gifts left for them in front of their door with their names written in beautiful calligraphy. He’s open to meeting them later down the line but hesitates to reveal his true ‘profession’ to keep the child safer as well as to keep them from being terrified of him.

-He sometimes feels a pang of something close to remorse giving up his child when he observes from the distance. An emotion he is not comfortable with and one that with either drive him to getting to know the child without them finding out who he really is or drive him out of the kids life.

-If they do figure out who he is and wants to join the Spider’s Chrollo will feel a weird proud parent moment and let them whether they are really powerful or not, much to some of the other Spider’s annoyance. Not that they would ever voice it, haha. Some (not all would care) would be curious on what the boss's child was like no matter if they were given up or raised by Chrollo and his S/O.

-If you go through abortion, Chrollo would respect your wishes. Part of him would probably be relieved. He would assure you he still loved you and that he supported this decision.

-He would ask Feitan to do it due to his experience and knowledge, plus it’s someone he trusts to help his S/O. However, he would probably be the only one out of the Spiders to know of Chrollo’s S/O due to this.

-He would support you. He would hang around for a month or so to make sure you were recovering fine. When it seems you have recovered he would take his leave. Don’t be surprised if he disappears for a while. He has been so focused on you he has yet to processes his own emotions.

-He would be the type to be sitting on his bed alone, trying to process what he was feeling before he realized there were tears streaming down his face. This would make him laugh. How could he feel sorrow and remorse for someone he never knew? It would take him a long time to realize how he was feeling, possibly a long time for him to truly come back to you or share even with his own troupe whether it be next moves or otherwise. Chrollo would just let himself feel and when he sees his S/O and troupe again he would be more distant, colder, possibly crueler with his victims. But I don’t think he’ll ever truly understand why he feels remorse, sadness or anything of the sort. He will spend a lot of time contemplating and trying to understand it though.

-When you say you want to keep it that is when Chrollo lets himself feel more emotions about having a child together. 

-It is one of the only times you will be able to clearly see his emotions and thoughts. No walls or defenses up. He would grab you and pull you onto the bed laughing. Exclaiming with almost childlike excitement that you were having a baby together.

-He wouldnt take a full break from the Spiders but would delegate the jobs more so, letting Feitan run as temporary leader due to knowing what was actually going on. 

-Whatever you want you got it, unless it’s super unhealthy junk food. He is for indulging you once and a while but not that often with that stuff. 

-Chances are, you would not go to doctor’s appointments unless you truly insisted (please do). It will always be by yourself or accompanied by your “friend”. 

-He wouldn’t want to know the babies sex. Ever. Don’t try to find out. He would understand but not appreciate going behind his back to try and find out. ‘Patience my love, we will find out soon enough’

-Reads every parenting book he can get his hands. No book is left unturned

-Birthing Classes are interesting. Chrollo has read so many books and watched so many videos by the time the classes come he is calm, prepared and even corrects some of the teachers methods introducing more efficient ways. The only reason why you don’t get kicked out was because he is a charming bastard and the teacher thinks it’s adorable how cute he is about being excited for the birth.

-He more so wants to be prepared as possible for anything and everything to go wrong. 

-He would not miss the birth of his child for anything. The birth would most likely take place at home (wanted criminal with no identification might be a little hard to get into the hospital). Would make Feitan deliver the baby. Either that or would have someone he trusts be around that he knows would pay (and threaten) that he knows would not sell them out to the officials. Most likely the first option would happen. This is the only thing during your pregnancy he would not negotiate on due to yours and the baby’s safety. 

-Only if you were dying would he contemplate but even then he has more faith in Feitan than anyone else to be able to save them. 

-He cannot express the words when his baby is born. He is happy and fearful. His philosophical nature cannot even begin to comprehend the psychology behind this feeling. ‘So this is the love of a parent’ would be what he decides on the emotion. 

-For a man who read so much on birthing, pregnancy and the preparation needed for that he happened to forget to read what happens after the baby is born. 

-Please send help for this poor man. He is lost. One of the only times in his life he is completely unsure of what to do.

-After a couple weeks he gets the hang of it. 

-He would prefer milk formula so he can feed their child. He barely sleeps as is so he wants to help take care of your child. Never asks you to get up, if the baby is crying. 

-If you hear crying you will often walk into a swee scene of him holding the baby close to his chest, shushing them and softly speaking to them.

-He definitely hums to your child while swaying in their arms.  

-Definitely plays classic music all the time while swaying the baby in his arms almost as if their dancing together. 

-His baby will grow up with the finest tastes without a doubt. 

-The only thing he doesn’t like to help with or do is feeding when their baby switched to soft jar food ‘mush’. Everytime he tries the food just oozes back through his child’s lips and he can’t get them to stop. The only time you have ever seen or will see this man in tears is trying to do this the first time. And it takes forever. He doesn’t care what he has to do instead but he will not be doing this. 

-He also doesn’t read children's books but books on poetry, tales of the Spiders (only when they are not old enough to remember), classics such as Dickenson and original Grimm Brother’s Fairy Tales. 

-If you thought he was overprotective before he has intensified so much more after birth. This little baby was the center of his world. 

-He will go back to the Spiders around 6-8 weeks after the baby is born but comes home much more within the first year the child is born.

-While he still isn’t positive you made the right decision keeping the baby, he figures only time will tell.

-On a less pleasant note, he is more interested in the psychology of the child and how they think than necessarily the child itself as they get older but he does feel a very heavy sense of what he can only assume is love and protection even though he doesn’t generally say it to 

-He would gladly die for the both of you.
