i was dreaming of some vacation at the sea but it felt stressful. then i got teleported to my grandma's house and a pigeon flew in. so i woke up! i immediately went to check my phone.. haha....

i banned myself from scrolling in the morning and went to read my book. after a while i ate 3 cookies and went in the car with my parents! they are bringing me to Kepong to eat vietnamese food located in a shoplot under a condo~

OMG! it's not open yet.... so we went to a hawker stall we gushed over before finding a parking spot near the vietnamese restaurant. we actually planned to eat there next time since we already wanted to eat at the vietnamese restaurant. it's fate i guess!

i was probably getting weird stares from wearing pjs. its a graphic shirt of a thai god. it's very pretty!! and black PE pants...?? anyway we found a seat really quickly~!!

i ordered black pepper pork stomach soup with rice while my mom and dad ordered porridge and char kuey teow respectively. mine arrived first!! IT WAS RM9. and the soup and all was in a medium sized claypot. IT WAS FULL WITH SOUP AND MEAT????? AND... he gave me a lot of rice too. RM9!??!?!?! 2 AMERICAN DOLLARS!!! Wow.. hehe. what a deal!

after i pissed my dad and i went to buy sengkuang (Jícama), soy milk and shaving cream. my dad passed by AEON and bought jicama, grapes and two cucumbers! when waiting for the soy milk outside he went to caring pharmacy in the shoplots in front of the exit of the mall. i waited outside in the 38 celsius weather... #RIP

we returned to the car where my mom was waiting in after he bought the cream and milk. then we sent the milk to our aunt and went home. it gets boring. after i finish reading my novel, start a new novel and play video games only do i shower. it's 5pm. what a stinky baby!

Albedo: he understands why, and he's fine with it. especially if your relationship is something no one knows about, it'll be easier calling him your lab partner and friend. you both probably don't often go on missions together due to the busy schedules you both have, BUT when you're together, you probably often don't refer to each other in a very lovey-dovey way. at least in public; you two are very discreet! so, calling albedo something other than the endearing pet names you have reserved for behind closed doors is wayyy easier than you originally thought. and he's a very understanding boyfriend, so he definitely wouldn't throw a fit about this at all!

Chongyun: popsicle boy more than understands. he almost accepts a little too easily... he's not hurt by this, because your reasoning is rational and makes sense. he just wants you safe, so if he has to be your friend on a mission that's fine. everything is alright with him unless you start claiming you don't him who he is. then, and only then, is he bothered. if you bring this up in conversation, he may try to offer other ways to approach this, because he's like 0.001 bothered, but other than that everything is fine! just don't go around saying you don't know him because that's a huge shot in the chest that soft boy over here is not prepared for.

Diluc: this man understands completely! when you approached him about a mission jean was planning to send you on, he was a little worried, especially after he learned how far you'd be traveling... but when you asked him to accompany you on the long journey, he was relieved. the only minor issue is that he couldn't go as your boyfriend, due to issues of either one of you being targeted. he would go as your friend, the very well-known wine tycoon. he's not as bothered as many may think. why would he be? this is just a simple mission! no one would hit on you while he's at your side, he didn't need to be known far and wide as your boyfriend for men and women to stay away. he knows you can 100% handle yourself, so momentarily being referred to as your friend is alright.

Kaeya: telling kaeya you were going to stop calling him your boyfriend and all the nicknames attached in public was a blow to his heart, but guess what, if you have a reasonable enough explanation he totally understands. you tell him it has to do with a certain someone from your past intruding once again, and they're very dangerous, so he gets it and doesn't prod any fruther. he'll agree and not make a big fuss about it, only after he's done making a complete fuss about it. despite agreeing to accept, he teasingly asks you why you haven't been calling him this or that in public, and it takes a slap to the back of his head for him to 'remember' why you're only calling him captain or friend. this man is as smooth as butter so he'd never let it slip you're dating in a million years! but, that doesn't mean he doesn't pretend to let the secret slip, just to see your reaction. he walks the fine line of accepting but almost spilling the beans because he likes to tease you. don't worry though, after he's had his fun with you, just know he'll actually stop and leave it alone. but behind closed doors, the teasing doesn't necessarily stop ;)

Kazuha: he is definitely someone who agrees to this immediately, a little fast you joked. but he understands. you're from inazuma as well so you more than understand why your relationship needs to be kept on the down-low. especially since someone very close to you and kazuha perished, leaving you both as targets. even before your friends' murder, your relationship was a secret. so now that you're both outside of inazuma, you're definitely a little scared to share your true relationship with kazuha. due to kazuha's involvement with the crux and finding people he trusts, he's much more comfortable sharing your relationship with the pirates. you, on the other hand, having spent much of your time in mondstadt after your friends' death, are a bit more... worried. if you admitted your involvement with kazuha, what would happen to him? would he be slain down? at least for a little while longer, you want to remain as friends on the outside, to the people who know you in mondstadt and the crux. and kazuha's not against it either, as long as you come to terms that everything is alright on your own, he's more than fine keeping everything a secret!

Zhongli: telling him you would like to be called less friendly and endearing nicknames while in public, wasn't as much as a blow to his heart as you thought it would be. because he understands, and he's probably done it more than a few times as well, to keep you protected of course; he wouldn't just tell anyone you're his significant other, and vice versa. but this week you were meeting with some pretty dangerous people, alongside ningguang and yanfei to discuss legal action when it comes to a few individuals accused of money laundering; obtaining mora through illegal actions. during this time, zhongli offered to help in any way he could, and removing romantic gestures was rather easy. no one asked about your relationship because of how inconspicuous you two were being. but don't get me wrong, when this all blows away, he's less than a liyuen nobleman to you, assisting this case.

Accepts (he may accept, but that doesn't mean he isn't bothered)

Aether: poor boy! he's so hurt. what do you mean you don't want to call him your boyfriend??? sure, being called just a friend is fine because he is that too, but he's also your boyfriend so :( but after some thorough explaining done by beidou, he starts to understand why you both can't waltz into inazuma while you complete your own task, and share your lovers. he's THE knight, the one many know of now and are possibly after. it's safer for you to play under the guise of friends, more preferably friends while in inazuma, especially since he's heard baal is a very very tough cookie. if he's anything like kazuha has shared with him, it's best you don't refer to him as your boyfriend, especially if you cross her. she'd easily been the root of all of kazuha's pain, loss, and suffering. he didn't want that for either of you... so, for now, you're strictly traveling as companions or friends.

Razor: he can come to terms with this because he'll follow just about any order you give him. he trusts you wholeheartedly, and it's your word above all! but, in the back of his mind, there are times he wonders why? why does he have to be your friend again? it just doesn't make sense! lisa has to explain a few times why, and each time he comes to terms with it again, but there are still those times when he questions it. do you not want to be his significant other? would you rather be with someone else? but don't worry! he'll get over those fears as long as you reassure him that this is just a front while on this mission. reassure him that although to the public your title is friends, you're much more than that. and after, he'll totally be at ease.

Xiao: when your life was being threatened due to your title of an adepti, he knew it was important for you to go into hiding, effectively immediately. and for your safety, he accepts this instantly, without questions asked. but when zhongli tells him it's better for you two to not see or speak to one another, he is a little bothered. especially when you told him he might as well forget you were together, at least for the time being; it was a little harsh but you wanted to get your point across!! like razor, there's this insecure feeling bubbling within him. he wonders if he's strong enough, worthy enough, to be your lover. it doesn't matter how many times you reassure him that once this all blows over, you two can be together again and express your love to one another publicly or not. until then, he'd wait. waiting was going to be the easy part, he's waited for you to finally be his for thousands of years. what's another thousand, is his thought process. but when some of the younger liyuen's, such as xingqiu and hutao come to him and wonder where his graceful lover is, he can't help but feel momentarily defeated as he tells them you two were never together, just fellow adepti, co-workers, if you will. overtime, he'll come to terms with it, but for now, it does bother him a bit more than he'd admit.

Childe: you're not affiliated with the fatui, so any other group is practically a rival to them. you can't tell your affiliated group who he is to you and vice versa. but he so badly wants to share the secret... childe, like kaeya, walks the thin line of keeping the secret but wanting to prioritize his teasing and corny jokes instead. he'd much rather joke and tease about the nature of your true relationship than ever keep it a secret, and that's pretty much known. only very few in the fatui know of his secret, one being scaramouche after prying the information out of childe one day, and the other being la signora. despite how often he fought with scaramouche, and la signora's annoyance to be affiliated with the both of them, they were his closest friends! so of course, he'd feel comfortable enough around them to joke, and in the process, let it slip that he was dating you. ahhh, it takes so much bribing of scaramouche to not snitch and rat him out to the tsaritsa, and a lot of pleading with la signora to leave you alone; she was more concerned with meeting you, to see if you were truly worthy of dating childe, and far too busy judging you. how they found out? well, he'd accidentally let the joke carry on for too long and shared a bit too much information. unlike kaeya, childe is less than smooth and doesn't know how to keep this specific secret for the LIFE of him, so it's very hard, and practically eating him alive. he's a good keeper of secrets, only in the beginning though. give or take a few months the secret will be out to the entirety of the fatui.

Bennett: ahh, benny... he's so clumsy, he's BOUND to let it accidentally slip during a mission. he understands you want to only call him your friend for the sake of the mission, and that doesn't mean he's not bothered by it, but it works! momentarily... when you're both fighting a large group of treasure hoarders, one of them taunts what his purpose is if he's so clumsy and can't even do one thing right, and benny takes that PERSONALLY. he KNOWS he's not supposed to let it slip, but at this moment, he can't help but scream, "I'm their boyfriend, that's who! and i'm a pretty awesome one if i do say so myself." and suddenly, everything between hammers to swords drops and the world falls silent for a minute. you immediately scold bennett when you return home, claim although his gesture was... sweet. it was definitely dangerous to say that. jean had strictly said personal relationships should be kept on the down-low, no matter strength or rank of those involved. and he feels so bad because once again he goofed up. he's so upset about it and doesn't let it go the whole journey home. just reassure him that it wasn't the biggest deal in your opinion, because in the end, you both kicked ass together.

Xingqiu: this boy strikes me as someone who is a blabbermouth, and i know for sure he'd either accidentally or not so accidentally let it slip that you're really together when you're not supposed to be. your parents would NEVER accept your relationship. one, because you're their child duh, they're your stereotypical overprotective parents, and two, xingqiu is well... xingqiu. in their book, he'd never be a good match for you, especially if you come from a stoic lineage. he's too much of a goofball for them to handle grrr. but when they were finally free and caught you and xingqiu together one evening running around liyue harbor, they were more than shocked to see their with a boy?! your more overprotective parent was seething with anger, you had never seen them so bothered until now. but don't worry (or so you thought), xingqiu always managed to talk himself out of sticky situations, and this time had to be no different! you've told your boyfriend a thousand and one times, that if he ever by chance ran into your parents, never EVER tell them you're dating. he was simply a friend in your little group of friends. Venti: tsk tsk. as much of a strong front he puts up when it comes to this, this bard, in particular, is a clingy little bastard, and he just can't accept this at the end of the day. why? because, well why would he want to have you refer to him as a friend, or even worse, a stranger? i feel like he would despise flat-out rejection, and if you're trying to call him a friend or stranger due to a mission, well then, that's the biggest form of rejection in his book! venti shows how bothered he is by this as he complains and whines, and is nearly bowing at your feet to not go through with this. "please, y/n! don't break my little heart." yes, he's practically begging. never would you have thought an archon to be bowing at your feet... a literal GOD pleading for you not to break his heart. and as much as it breaks your own heart, you have to go through with this! a mission is a mission, and if this can keep venti safe, you're all for it. although, if your life is in danger then, of course, he'll allow it! but he's going to want to mosey around the fact for a while, and ignore that you're actually calling him a friend... but if you're just trying to protect him, he'll laugh it off, and say he can protect himself. he jokes that he'd much rather face death than ever call him a friend or stranger, AHH.

The rain was pouring down heavily and Albedo sighed as the front of his hair was almost immediately flattened into his eyes, obscuring his sight. You hadn't fared as well either, but you were already mostly waterlogged from travelling to see him in the first place so it hadn't been as extreme of a difference. 

With heavy hands, he pushed his hair out of his face, letting it slick back against the sides rather than remaining plastered across his forehead. You were already lost in yourself a little further ahead of him, the enthusiasm never once leaving your steps as you bounded through the soaking streets of Mondstat with a gentle laugh. 

Albedo's feet sank against the drenched stone paving, little splashes of water flicking out under the soles of his boots. He spent a moment observing the way that the droplets rippled out from one another, some constructively interfering and causing larger splashes, some pattering out quickly into nothingness. For a while, he was lost in thought as he followed after you, until you finally snapped him back to reality with a little wave of your hand in front of his face.

"We're here," you declared triumphantly, gesturing out into the open space around you. 

You'd taken him all the way towards the cathedral, to the wide open square that housed the towering statue of Barbatos. He noted that the rainwater was cascading heavier from between the open palms of the statue, causing louder and larger splashes on the ground below. You didn't seem to care, eagerly running around in the space with a gleeful whoop as you splayed your arms out in the air and simply just enjoyed the time you were having. 

The downpour hadn't once cleared up and Albedo was certain that you'd have some serious drying off to do in front of a warm fire later to avoid catching a cold. Not that he couldn't just make up a few concoctions to make you feel better if you did get sick, but he decided he'd rather avoid the probability entirely. 

Almost as if to prove his point, a significantly large gathering of water sloshed unceremoniously down from the top of the statue and plopped tremendously atop your unsuspecting head. You let out a yelp of surprise, somehow now even more impossibly soaked through than you already were.

It surprisingly didn't change just how stunning you looked in the moment, though. If anything, the glistening droplets of rain reflecting in the fragments of light peeking through the grey clouds overhead gave you an extra layer of etheralism that had him close to blushing. 

"You're beautiful." He couldn't help himself from making the comment. It was an astute observation, like everything else he had noticed on the walk there. You really were the most breathtaking person he knew, so why wouldn't he let you know?

"Flatterer," you laughed, moving back over to him only to scoop his hands into yours. "Dance with me?" 

"Of course," he obliged. 

Sure, there was no music. That hadn't stopped you before so it certainly wouldn't stop him now.

Albedo wasn't necessarily adept with the concept of dancing, at least not in the traditional sense. His years of training as a swordsman had helped his footwork, naturally, so it wasn't possible for him to falter too badly. It had been a while since he had had a partner as proficient as you, though. Klee managed to keep him on his toes- literally sometimes- by insisting he teach her how to dance and then proceeding to simply drag him around the room a few times, but it was nothing compared to genuinely trying to dance with another person. 

"You don't need to be perfect at this, you know," you let out a laugh as he tried to lead you in a slow waltz. 

"I am aware," he admitted. "But you deserve nothing less."

"Just let yourself have fun, Mr. Perfectionist," you grinned, switching up your movement to pull him into a twirl. 

You were leading him now, dancing him around in a circle past all the bright cecelias that were planted around the foot of the statue. They were almost as pretty to look at as you, but Albedo knew they'd never quite match your elegance and charm. Your hands placed gently on his body, one on his shoulder and the other just over his hip, felt so warm against him. It was a shocking change to the bone-chill he could sense from the damp soaking deep into every single fiber of his being. It was welcome, though, and your touch felt like home to him. 

Home.

He considered "home" to be the land he was created in, the land he no longer got to see. Home was meant to be where you were from, right? So why did you, a person who had let themselves into his life like an absolute whirlwind and consumed his entire being until you were all that was left, feel the exact same way? 

You had become a comfort, not unlike the blissful warmth of settling down before a fire deep in the harshest snowstorms that wracked through Dragonspine. Like the early dew in the morning gracing the blades of grass that Albedo did so like to sit out and sketch when the sun was just rising. You were ephemeral, fleeting, but at the same time you were strong and grounding, like an anchor keeping him steady. He never quite realised how much he liked feeling stable. 

Yet here, now, with you, he let himself enjoy it all at once. The feeling that he always felt when he was with you, that glorious encompassing feeling of home. It threatened to swallow him whole and never let him go. And he would gladly let it, without hesitation. 

He laughed. For maybe the first time that you had ever heard him do so, he let out the most genuine laugh that he ever had. The rain was still cascading down in rivers across him, forcing him to blink hard to get the water away as he threw his head back towards the sky. You watched him with keen interest for a moment, bewildered by the sudden display of emotion, but once you had settled you laughed along with him. 

Never once did you stop dancing, out in the rain like that together. You both kept going until you were too tired to move any more, until you were practically dragging yourselves back through the wet streets home. 

Home. That elusive word yet again. 

This was your house that Albedo was currently crossing through the threshold of, closing the door carefully behind him as you went ahead to start up the fireplace. It was your sofa that you piled some blankets onto, your dining chair that you slowly and cautiously spread out your soaking wet outer clothes to dry upon. 

Everything was familiar to him of course, he had been invited into your house many times even before you were courting, but it all belonged to you. It wasn't for the both of you. 

It could be, though, he let himself think. Perhaps one day, some of his paperwork could be laid upon that dining room table. The cup he usually used half to death for coffee before finally washing it out every time could be sat neatly on the countertop, perhaps next to your own. His coat could be hung up on the hook beside your front door, next to where your own currently rested. 

"-e that," you said, but he didn't quite catch it. 

When had he let himself get so lost in his own imagination around you? You really must have had such a strong effect on him, for him to even be thinking about sharing his life with you in such a way. 

"Hey, Albedo," you called out to him again. This time, he actually turned to you. 

"I'm sorry, what did you want?" 

"Give me that," you held out your hand, gesturing towards his coat. "You're still drenched, I'm not letting you stay here if you're going to drip all over my carpets."

He passed it over wordlessly, peeling the fabric back off of his arms and handing it to you. You gave him a warm smile, such a beautiful smile, one that never failed to elicit a similar one from him in response, as you moved off to hang his coat up to dry. 

It was next to yours, just as he had been imagining only seconds prior. He had to admit, they looked good together. Like they were meant to be there. 

"C'mon," you urged as you returned, ushering him back towards the sofa. 

He sat first, at your behest, and let you plonk yourself down by his side. You stayed where you were for a moment, before fidgeting and eventually shifting all the way until you had your head resting on his shoulder. 

"Your hair is still wet," he noted, which made you giggle. 

"Yeah of course it is, we were out there for like an hour." You wrapped your arms around his middle, settling down as comfortably as you could manage. 

It wasn't the first time the two of you had cuddled in such a way on your sofa (yours, not a shared entity), but this time Albedo just couldn't seem to find the right way to place his own hands. He settled, eventually, for draping one arm gently across you and using the other to hold onto the hand of yours that had come to a rest across his stomach. 

"You seem really off today Bedo," you hummed, tilting your head up to glance at him.

He met your eyes with a smile. "I'm fine, love, don't you worry."

Love. 

He hadn't ever called you that before. Why did it feel so right, now?

"Love?" You repeated, a sheepish smile spreading across your face. 

"Do you not like it?" He asked, suddenly wondering if he had said something wrong. Before you, he never would have been so worried about something so small.

"No, I," you hesitated. "I love it."

"Was that meant to be a joke?" Albedo mused, moving to press a kiss to your forehead. He wasn't sure what had compelled him to do that right then and there but it just felt right.

Felt. Feelings were difficult, a concept that Albedo knew about in abundance- but still could never quite grasp. Even though he knew he was happy with you, happy interacting with you in a more-than-platonic manner, he never seemed to get a decent understanding of how he felt about you. You had told him several times how he made you feel, not to the point of saying those specific little three words, but it was close enough. He knew you cared for him, deeply at that. Why else would you have been so patient with him all this time?

"I love you," he uttered out at last, after what felt like he was thinking for hours. Really, it had likely not been much longer than a few seconds.

You stopped what you were doing, mindlessly twining and unlocking your fingers with his, to gaze up into his eyes. The slight part of your lips expressed your shock brilliantly as you stuttered to try and get a response out. 

"I love you too," you replied at last, after fumbling around the words for a while. "I love you so much, you don't even know."

"I think I can imagine," Albedo smiled, leaning down to pull you into a searing kiss.

Yes. Love was definitely what he felt. There was no other way to describe it, the overwhelming feeling he got whenever he looked at you. The feeling that desperately ached in his chest whenever you weren't around him. It was the feeling that made him want to stay there like that with you for an eternity, even despite the inclination to keep working on his research. It was the feeling of the first day of spring after a perilous winter, of the very first leaves tumbling off of their trees in autumn. 

The feeling of home. 

And he wanted to make a home with you, no matter what.

And there will come a day when you suddenly go, oh. That’s why. That’s why it was worth living and sticking around. I understand.

And then the moment passes, and you might forget again. But that’s okay, because life is an abundance of such moments. They will come back <3

DIARY OF 13TH MARCH 2022

13th of March, 2022.

today i woke up so late to

1. avoid paying respects in the cemetery

2. continue my dream

(P.S I hope noone from my old class is tuning in because this is really embarrassing. i dreamt of not being able to pick a food in the hawker centre. then somehow LJH talked about so many things to me and i held his hand and ran to char kuey teow stall. it was so breezy and cool!! he had very warm hands.)

we planned to pay our respects at 10. i woke up at 1035. i ate while rushing. i ate a steamed pumpkin bun made by my grandparents and a bite of yiu tiao.

we arrived at the section where my granduncle is at and see many people surrounding his tomb. someone opened a huge arse umbrella over the tombstone so people sticking incense wouldn't get their skin scorched by the sun. when my parents and i came i heard "omg she's so tall!" 5 times (it was inevitable 😏).

after i made my dad stick my incense in the sand, i stood UNDER THE SUN for 30 AN HOUR AT LEAST!!! i switched places 3 times. first i went under a small ass tree next to an unfamiliar relative of mine. i said Hi!! to seem approachable and to manipulate her to cover me with her umbrella😘 and she responded!! she was nice but i didn't reply to most of her statements because this is who i am.

then i went under another 2 umbrellas that were shared with 3 people each. IT WAS STILL SO HOT BRO THE UMBRELLAS DIDN'T DO NUN💔💔💔 my mom is a sadist she made me wear a gray shirt with black streaks. while she wore a blue shirt and my dad a white one? 🤬

after that i gave up and went to a gazebo with my grandma. it was pretty boring. i just daydreamed under there.

then we went to my M grandmother's house. we tabao'ed kuey teow soup, many kuih and 经济饭. my fav was kuey teow soup. it was good but i got bored of it quickly.

i just scrolled through my phone for the next hour then i only went home. WE WERE STICKY ASF!!

after bathing i played genshin for real for the first time in so long! i was hearing demon slayer SFX (my dad was watching) while cooping with someone nice and there came a power supply cut because someone was fixing a cable or something. so uncalled for. i couldn't say bye bye so she must've thought that i hated her or something. i drew without wifi next to the open sliding door to feel the natural wind!! my mom was watching me draw.

after that we gkt bored and went to eat dinner. luckily i bought a book bc it took so long for the food to come. it was worth it though it was a top tier feast. salted egg mantis shrimp, special edition beancurd with suspicious black sauce, yau mak with fried garlic and carrots, curry fish and okras.

DIARY

11th March 2022

i woke up at half past nine. my grandparents brought two pork buns for me as breakfast because they didn't know what i liked. my dad asked the price of the buns which were RM2.50 each. it's a relatively large bun but it has less meat inside compared to the most delicious pork bun i have ever tasted in the city that had so much delicious pork inside that were RM2.80 each.

which was shocking. CITY AND TOWN PORK BUNS ONLY 40 CENTS APART?! ....

at 1120 my parents and i left for the nearby mall to watch batman. at least, we planned to. we prepared to go out at 1111 but only finished changing after 9 mins. i kept my 5 year old pajama top on and changed into puffy shorts that were most likely my mom's from the 2000's.

omg. we were late for the batman movie by 10 minutes. the movie picking screen didn't sell its tickets anymore! before going to the mall i joked about watching jujutsu kaisen 0. it was going to come true right now.

my mom hates all anime except for demon slayer so i convinced her to accompany us to watch because it was "just like demon slayer!"

she didn't like it. 🤭🤔🤬

[IN THE CINEMA]

it had so many people. like 9 at most. not including us! it was such an unusual sight for this small town where even the malls weren't prosperous.

I WAS SHAKING MY LEGS FOR MORE THAN HALF OF THE MOVIE. IT WAS SO FCKING COLD AND I WANTED TO PEE AGAIN AS SOON AS I SAT ON THE SEATS. i just peed before i came here....

the sound system is so loud. for someone who plays her music loud until the first floor also can hear, it must be something. the opening was so hard to listen to. the first few lines were heaven since it was like whispers being magnified then the rock guitar and vocals came and i literally wanted to shit myself of embarrassment. if even i felt uncomfortable what would my mom think of this anime!!!! but the loud arse sound system also had its pros. the fighting scenes were godly. the katana sound effects, explosion sounds, footsteps.. AMAZING!!!

after the movie we went to the bookstore downstairs. i have nothing to say about this. just normal me taking pics of the books and sending them to myself, adding them to my BOOKS TO READ photo album.

we then went to my maternal grandmother's house to eat lunch! she cooked steamed egg with pork, steamed fish, steamed potato wedges and australian cabbage 🥬!

3 packs of mini chips more were shared among us. "chips more more like chips less!" there were like so less chips in a single bag but it was too sweet so it was justifiable.

my dad and little cousin played off price street fighter on the tv.

my grandmother was blowing cucumber shaped balloons. (to scare my cousins)

after that we went back to my P grandma's house. there are literally no cats in the day and 5 cats gathered together in the evening.

my grandmother cooked char siew, fried eggs and steamed broccoli with prawn for dinner!!! the latter was the most delicious!!!!

i took many cat photos today~ two cats were questionably climbing trees.

MOVIE REVIEW

Jujutsu Kaisen 0

this movie was awesome!

the first anime movie i actually watched in the cinema and not pirated on animix.play?!??!? it was awesome. best first anime film ever. idk if its just me convincing myself that to think i spent my money wisely but whatever!

OK THE ANIMATION WAS FIRE. my legs were SHAKING for 100 minutes until i was used to the animation and cold arse air con in the cinema. the sound effects were so real i felt like i was there.

PROS.

sound effects - 10/10 loved the sound of metal scraping the grass.

OST - upbeat and club-esque. i love it they played it in the right scenes.

animation: I DONT WANT TO REPEAT THIS. I LOVE THE ANIMATION. animation made normal fighting scenes we see everywhere in media very exciting. explosions! dodging! slapping each other with a spear!

songs - i only really liked the last song in the end credits. the first two were mediocre.

short video after end credits - 5/10 dk the point of it but it was shocking. i waited 4 minutes after the end credits with a bursting bladder just to watch this?! yuta somehow looks older. appreciate him being in Kenya eating their food though.

CONS.

repetition - stop replaying the same rika x yuta scene as kids please. i have had enough of "yakusoku da yo🥺" and her smiling. it's cringe to me i'm so sorry. makes me feel like im watching MHA.

6/10 storyline

i THINK. that this movie's plot was ok. if not for the fantastic animation i would've giving it a 6 as shown above. predictable, cliche shonen and shit ending.

ok but what was that ending i expected more. maybe MAPPA was exhausted. i get it. but rika just exploding and turning into her normal form because she wasn't "actually dead🥺"? and yuta not even dying even though he promised to? idk.

conclusion

anime was mediocre. ost and animation saved this generation's shounen manga.
