I saw a couple of dragon Links and wanted to add my own design to the slurry. Anyways say hi to the Courage Dragon, whose favorite thing is his wife.

This is one of the few Zelda illustrations I've actually finished in a while lol. (As in made a full bg and actually thought a little bit about the composition) Echoes of Wisdom is lovely, charming and just a little silly and I'm liking it very much. Solving your problems with explosives (or little guys that will drop them for you) is definitely one of my favorite LoZ features.

I was flipping though an old sketchbook and found some art from like, 5 ish? 6 ish years ago?

It was from a comics class i took at a nearby university during middle school. By itself it's not that interesting because it just kind of sucks. It's kind of impressive how much it sucks, because at the time it took me a full half an hour to make this.

This is a five minute sketch of the same character. It's not perfect, sure, of course it's not, I didn't use reference or think about it a whole lot, but it's still just so substantially better than the first one that it's insane. I look at these two things next to each other and I'm flabbergasted at seeing how much I've improved. I'm really proud of how far I've co.e in the past few years.
